Informal chain bar with TV sport and live entertainment, plus a burger menu and global comfort food.
Backpackers/sports bar type of place. I am too old for a proper session there but its fine and dandy for pint while you wait for your train departing from next door greenwich train station. Its not the staffs fault but the card reader defaults to asking for a tip, I mean they absolutely dobt shame you into tipping but it feels a bit too much imho
Pub next to hotel we stayed in. After waiting a long time for food, Natchos arrived - they were terrible, sloppy and cold. Others in group had burgers and did enjoy them.
Three of us went to eat and food came out one at a time, none of us ate together. Staff were rude when asked where the food was, wouldn’t recommend if you want to eat together!
Great beers and food, good night out to be had in here
It’s says that is open 24 hours but we went there at 00:00 and they didn’t let us in
Went to this sports bar on a packed Saturday afternoon to catch up with friends. They served me a double Disaronno and Cranberry juice, and I can quite frankly say, it is one of the best Ive ever had in the past 10 years Ive been drinking it.I also ordered some wings and fries, each of which were cooked to perfection. My only criticism is I think they may have benefited from having one more worker during this period of time that I went to watch the football, but these things happen.
Location wise it is quite nice as it is just outside the Greenwich station. The food was not great and the staff seemed quite uninterested and low on energy. I have a better experience in Belushis other branches.
Food was amazing great atmosphere and staff were amazing.
1st time here and had a great pint of Prava. Sports fans only really!
Usually love this place, but was asked to double tap my card to pay for my round and then a drink I hadnt ordered and on challenging it was told "oh no I can see you paid"Check your purchases. Might have been innocent, but with a £6.80 price tag for a pint, worth being cautious(the pragmatist with ten years bar management experience says it wasnt innocent or accidental)Other than that the drinks were good, the sport on the high quality big screen had drawn a good lively crowd!
Place is clean , spacious room kind and respectful staff
Staff are friendly and helpful,I was surprised by The Cleanliness of the rooms and the showers. They offer discount on food and drink for guests downstairs in the bar they play life football and music in general it’s a great Place for you and your friends to stop off if you’re visiting London!!
If Google allowed reviewers to give zero stars, then Id give Belushis Greenwich zero stars.Yesterday I made an online reservation for a table to watch the Arsenal vs Man Utd game, in which I was forced to pay a £10 deposit.Upon arrival, I initially wasnt even signed in, therefore Belushi would have not been able to confirm my attendance. However, I used my initiative to make sure I was signed in because I wasnt going to let Belushi rob me of the deposit.Whats even more comical, is that I wasnt reserved a table, therefore I literally had the option to pick any free table. This was only possible because I came an hour before the Man Utd game started, who knows what wouldve happened, had I arrived at Belushis closer to the kick-off time, when it had got really busy.To summarise, my experience at Belushis Greenwich was awful, and I had my £10 deposit robbed, despite attending my reservation. In the modern-day age, in which customers can leave online reviews, why would any sane business risk delivering such poor customer service? Congrats on robbing me off the £10 deposit, in return this review will rob you of god knows how much future revenue.I very rarely have to write negative reviews, but this one I am afraid was very much needed.
Very good food and drinks! Love the staff and amazing prices. Only the manager that could be nicer and polite to the customers.
I love this place. The drinks there are amazing and most of the staff are incredible. However, I just have a complain about the manager that I believe is named Kaan. He was quite rude to some of my friends as they placed their drinks in a table they didnt know wasnt allowed. A nicer and polite approach to them would have been better than simply raising his voice and ignoring us after. Apart from that, I always have a great time.
I was privileged to use their WiFi for phone network and they were kind to allow me use their electric socket to charge my phone. Nice chat with the lady at the bar. Thank you.
Toilets were ungodly, but the staff was pleasant and accommodating. But seriously, dont use the toilets there.
NO STARS.... worst place Ive been to for years!! First, ordered drinks..waited 15mins for 1 to be brought over then another 15mins for the 2nd 1!! Waited an hour & 10 mins for the food,(Ordered everything at same timechicken enchiladas were 2 tortilla wraps stuck together with cheese n jalapeños! No chicken! Cocktails (paid full price BTW during happy hourwere disgusting! Tasted like simple alcohol & fruit juice... the sides were undercooked, and when I had the cheek to raise an issue the Girls attitude was even Worse! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.
Quite possibly the worst food I have ever had and I ever will have! I actually feel sick right now.
Great place to chill out and watch football games, the food is great and very welcoming.
Had a very nice time with friends, will be returning soon
Great staff and good atmosphere but drinks a bit pricey
Had a great time in here. They have seating areas and a dance floor (which was actually full at 1amthe only problem was the music was a tad too loud and some of our drinks were wrong but who really cares when its 1am???
Vitoria, Ellen,Rebekah and Ambrose are lovely people. I love their service and I definetly recommend going to this place. The food and the drinks are 10/10, especially the wings(any wings)!!!
Came here for lunch a few days ago. The staff were very helpful and attentive and the food was great! The only disappointing part was that our of our dishes were wrong and the replacement dish took far too long to arrive.
Went there on a Thursday evening at 9PM.Place was really quiet at that point but the staff was really friendly.Cool decorations as well!
Great little bar - nice pints and food was pretty good too. Staff friendly too, what more does anyone want? Would return 👍
Use to work at Belishis in Paris, so I thought Id pop in and take a look about. Thanks Rachel for all your kindness.
Extremely overpriced bar (two drinks cost over £15lacks character. Sole benefit is it is a good place to wait for people who are arriving at Greenwich station.
Good food and beer. Nice outdoor seating and friendly staff.
Complete dive. Tables were all dirty, service was poor, and there was no chef on staff for food, but no one mentioned it until we went to order food (no sign and no mention from the bar tender when I grabbed the menu right in front of him). Will never come again.
Good sports bar, generally good vibes and sometimes surprisingly good pub food.
Great hostel and amazing staff. Your missing out if you dont try this one
Terrible place, extremely overpriced. No bitter on tap and £5.20p for a small bottle of perroni which was Luke warm even though it was taken from the fridge. The barman didnt understand a word I was saying even though Im English.SHOCKING PLACE.I had to give it a star to post but it would of been minus if possible
Just recently started a new job after being made redundant last year in Greenwich near Belushis great place for a lunch time drink and a fantastic place to enjoy in the evenings a must place to visit if your in Greenwich
Lovely place and atmosphere but hugely let down by the extremely rude and racist manager. DO NOT go to this particular Belushis. Manager was unnecessary rude and ignorant and disrespectful. I would not advise anyone to go here especially people of colour.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff, great entertainment and huge selection of fairly priced drinks.
27/2 - UpdateI returned to Belushis today after my previous post, and met with the Manager, who was very understanding and aplogetic. We came to a mutually amicable agreement which we were both happy with. In hindsight, I understand the pressure that the team were under due to unavoidable events, and believe that measures are now being put in place to avoid my experience. Kudos to the Manager for her response and excellent people skills. Thank you.
Awful - the security guards are so rude. Have been to many places, but the bouncers here were the rudest by far. I used to enjoy going to the London Bridge branch for sports events, as they have a lot of screens and a good atmosphere. I tried the Greenwich branch but the experience was really bad.I paid a 10 pound deposit per person to book a table for a football match (although realised upon arriving that this was unnecessary - the place was empty). I arrived slightly late and was expecting a smooth entry, especially as I had paid a deposit. But the bouncer there was intent on giving me a hard time, for no explicable reason. He wanted to know where the other guests were; I was the first one to arrive and the others would come even later. He wasnt prepared to let me in, until all 4 of us were present.I found this infuriating. Its inexplicable why he was being so fussy, and when you pay a deposit to book a table, you expect particularly good customer service, a warm welcome. But this guy was just being really rude. He just seemed obnoxious, I observed another incident where a guest had left the bar for a smoke then tried to re-enter. The security guard didnt like something that the lady was doing and, although he might have doing his job by enforcing any rules, the manner in which he was doing it that was appalling. He started speaking really rudely and aggressively to the lady, and once the issue was resolved and the lady entered, he swore at her under his breath!I was disgusted and would certainly have left to another bar, had it not been for the fact that I had paid a deposit. After a few minutes, one of the friendly bar ladies came out to greet us and resolved the impasse, ushering us in. Once inside, things settled down. However, upon leaving, we again encountered a (differentrude bouncer. We hadnt realised that there were separate exit door, so tried to exit through the entry door. When almost out, a guard appeared and started disrespectfully telling us to go back and exit through the other door! One of the guests had pretty much exited the bar, but he still asked her to head back in and exit through the common door, which didnt make sense. Once again, the guard might have been doing his job, but the manner in which he did it and the rudeness he displayed was atrocious. All in all, the guards were just really unpleasant: rude, obnoxious and on a power trip. We should have had a good evening, but were so put off by the guards. So I wouldnt recommend going there.
Great bar in Greenwich with hotel above. Has quiet a few screens showing sports and has 3-4 individual table seated with own screen for party viewing (has to be booked in advance), great selection on beers, spirits and food menu. This bar in 2 second walk from Greenwich mainline and DLR station and next too the Novotel Hotel.Staff members are polite and helpful.
My friend Jackie and I had a lovely day out in Greenwich yesterday and on our way back to the station, we decided "one for the road" was in order. Luckily for us, we happened to arrive during HAPPY HOUR and with 2 for 1 Cocktails 🥳 so "one for the road" turned into 4 each! 😂 I ordered a Pina Colada and tried a Sugar Mama for the first time... both very delicious, refreshing and summery despite it being grey and dismal outside. Took me back to my younger years and holidays long gone. If youre a fan of BEER PONG too, this is the place to go. Theyll provide you with all the things you need and a pitcher of beer for £15. Fabulous decor (especially for music fansand really friendly staff, we sadly had to leave just as OPEN MIC NIGHT began, what we saw though before we left was amazing. Will definitely be heading to Belushis again next time we go to Greenwich.
OMG came for my sister hen do on Friday night and could not have wished for anything better. It was such an amazing night and if anyone really needs credit for our fun its Jess she made the night and my sister enjoyed every moment. ❤
Great night out, manager Andreas was amazing, really looked after us. Anna, our waitress was lovely too!
Good food, quick service giving the covid situation so hats off to workers. There were hand sanitising stations all over. Never a bad experience! Close to my university very convenient.
A great little sports bar right next to Greenwich overground station and one minute from the DLR. Welcoming staff and generally a good place to have a drink. Not for the real ale enthusiast maybe, no cask visible. Well kept and a happy place. Drop in for a pint if you are around.
Belushi’s is ideally located for the quick tactical off the train beer as it is right outside of the station. This is the starting point of my yearly pub crawl I do with friends so is always a welcome site. The beers are cheap and the food is good quality for very reasonable prices. Great seating area out front which allows for sitting in the sun on a lovely day.
I’ve been coming to Belushi’s for a couple years now and it’s always been a great place to come. They always throw great student events with great themes and decorations - the staff are always getting involved and have a good time themselves. They’ve always catered for our American Football team and set aside a big section with a projector to show all the games - the food & drink always goes down a treat. Hamish does a great job here 👌🏼
Good spot for quick drinks and sports. The staff there are polite and service was fast.
This was an amazing place to chill out, stayed at the Hostel right above. The party goes on and on. You have a great ambience and the staff is just super helpful. If your staying at the hostel then 1+1 on drinks and the discount on food is just cherry on the cake.
Good, decent drinks and food with loads of screens around to enjoy the footie my bf is fond of. This is one of our regular place to watch the footie ⚽️. Not the best ambience but it’s alright for us as we enjoy our drinks wid the games going on.
