Vintage games, gift shops, rides & an iconic wooden roller coaster right next to the beach.
We had a great time here! The staff is friendly and helpful. The park is clean and maintained. 100% better than Santa Monica Pier. We went during the fall festival, and there’s so many cute areas for photos too!
First time here. About 30 of us went. Was able to bring our own food and drinks. So much to do and see. Also had a swimming pool. Wristbands are a little expensive for the number of rides they had. But overall pretty fun day.
Go visit Belmont went on a Sunday staff walking around in costumes and giving candy away for the kids. Fun day🎃stay and see the sunset👍
Family fun! Lines often very short. Annual pass very low cost. Right next to beautiful clear golden sand beach. Easy to use facilities. Good bathrooms.. plenty of shops and food choices. Lots of rides and live band entertainment. ...
Id really like wooden rollercoaster and this one is quite nice. Parking can be difficult but I was able to found a spot for free.Zip-Lining in this area is pretty boring, maybe fun for kids.the usual fast food is available around, and its close to the beach.
Pitoresque! Nice beach, with a good size parking lot (full in the weekends and vacation time), different activities, good restaurant, the public restrooms not as clean. Usually we go there to walk on the boardwalk, have a burger or... and get a delicious Gelato at Cor di Gelato!
Who doesnt love a day or night well spent at Bellmont? One of my kiddos fav spots in S.D.. lots of fun stuff to do and yummy food/treats to eat, shops to browse, an arcade, zip line and the famous wooden Big Dipper wooden roller coaster. Perfect to spend the afternoon then watch the sunset on mission beach ⛱️
Great place to take the kids, or even a date. Love the games and attractions there, we all had a blast. We will be back.
Fun place to entertain your self, attractions, stores, food court, and most importantly beach is right there, always people around.Beach mostly has seaweeds laying around
Small entertainment center but popular here. It’s free to go in, and only pay for the equipment that you wanna play. Restrooms are surprisingly clean!
Great place to take the kids! Be sure and ride the roller coaster. There are lots of fun rides and good food options.
Belmont Park was great I love it cuz you can buy wristbands for your kids let them go if there old enough while you and your significant other can walk down to the beach swim in ocean and walk back have lunch with your older kids and do what youre going to do while theyre riding rides I mean they dont have an endless choice of rides but the ones they did have my kids enjoyed very much well go back again if Im in the area food was reasonably priced we just had a good time all around the atmosphere was very nice there everybody was having a good time good place to go I recommend it
Fun place to go in San Diego, especially if you are a kid or kid at heart. Right next to Mission Beach, restaurants, bars, the iconic rollar coaster, arcade, zip lining, escape room, swimming pool, carnival games - it got it all. Parking and entrance is free so its a great place to just wonder around too.
Small, but fun amusement park. They have one big roller coaster, a splash pool, small rides for kids, a zip line, laser tag, an arcade, carnival games, and, obviously, the beach! The Giant Dipper is a fun ride, not a super short rollar coaster, which I like, but it rattles you a bit. Overall, 4/5 stars!
Very clean and cool place to spend, a windy and cool breeze once left El Cajon and Spring Valley..Highly recommend during San Diego hot days…Restrooms are clean but the hand makes washing sinks were clogged…
Love this attraction! Has the feel of the a county fair. Lots of shops and places to buy snacks. Loads of rides including the Great Dipper the 95 year old rollercoaster!! Its a must do if youre visiting the San Diego area!
Me and my famliy went down this park and we had a blast. We had some nice food, and were able to watch the waves come in shopping. But we had a bad experience with the server at our restaurant they took a very long time to take our order and it took quite a while to get our food and it was not really worth the wait.
Had a great day at Belmont park! They ride tickets are fairly priced and there is a variety of things to do. There are also games to play and prizes to win! When you get hungry, there is plenty of food options but a bit expensive so be prepared for that. Overall good time at this California classic experience
My kids loved coming here. There’s so many attractions for them to do and so many things for them to play with. Even though some of the attractions are fairly old, my kids seem to find many things to entertain them for hours. If you’re an adult and you want to get away from it all, you can go to one of the many bars or eateries that are very close by. Just avoid this place on the weekends as it’s crazy busy.
Great atmosphere with the beach, boardwalk, stores, rides and restaurants. It is definitely a tourist attraction (trap?). Largest crowds we experienced in SD. Also we were surprised to find out it closed at 8 v the website which said 10.
We have annual passes, if you come here a lot it is worth the money, you also skip the line if you have them.Off season they have the race cars which are cool! During summer they close the race cars for more parking but so many other things are open like bowling, escapeology, and the old time pictures🤠This place is cool, parking is absolutely nuts, get there earlier than later.
There are lots of fun rides. There are friendly employees and it was clean. Overall we had a great day today!
Fun little Oceanside park. Free to enter but you pay per ride. Nice historical coaster there. Parking can be a struggle but worth it to experience the atmosphere.
There was so much to do here. I loved the atmosphere and right on the beach. Plenty of things to eat and buy. They have rides and games its a fair all year. Will definitely go back again.
Such a fun place for kiddos. Our kids had a blast. They didnt want to go on a rollercoaster, but they loved the arcade and the Zipline and bumper cars. The rock climbing wall looks awesome. There is a food court in the middle with decent food options for everyone from fries and burger to hot wings and pizza and everything in between. There is an indoor pool as well. The tickets for attractions is $12 and you can go twice on the Zipline and bumper cars etc. The lady who sold us tickets for Zipline said our younger kid was big enough for the Zipline, but they have scale there and weight kids. You have to be 50 lbs or over to ride Zipline, our kid is 44 lbs, so he couldnt go on Zipline, so we used his ticket for bumper cars. There are lots of gift shops and stores there as well. You can spend anywhere from 1 hour to 4 hours easy there. Also you can buy tickets for the rollercoaster online, if you dont want to stand in a long ticket line for it.
I enjoyed my visit to Belmont Park. We played Putt Putt Golf, rode the bumper cars, and did the zip line. The park was clean and not too crowded. It was so much fun we went back a second day. We were vacationing from Oregon.
Loved it here. There are a lot of rides for all the ages. I loved that its right in front of the beach. So many places to eat and there are a lot of vendors.
This is truly one of the last great original American amusement parks. No charge to get in, only to take part in the rides and attractions. In addition to the usual roller coaster, bumper cars, and midway games, there is Lazer tag, an escape room, and a zip line. The Putt Putt Golf was fun and challenging. People watching is over the top. I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.
This is a great spot. We discovered it for a our vacation on go city app. Gold area could use more clubs or a second 18 holes as it gets crowded and then you start waiting and then feel like you are holding people up. There are a few rides and attractions including an old rickety roller coaster. its not a massive place to spend hours at with smaller kids but a couple. If you have older ones they could make a day and night out of this.
Free to just walk around. Great prices here on everything! Lines are not long. Lots of things to do for everyone. Even a few free attractions! Toddler, kids, teens, and adults. The beach and ocean, a park, boats walking distance if you like that. Vendors along the sidewalk for food, unique clothes, souvenirs, hats for everyone, jewelry, things for the kids, toys, and so much more! I loved it here! Cant wait to come back!
Came here for a Vendor Event at Belmont in Bloom. Greatly enjoyed the scenery here. The beach itself is beautiful and the breeze is great. The employees here are all so happy and nice :greatly enjoyed watching them sing and smile as they went about their work! The food from the venue to the various vendors are delicious. Kudos to the churro man who sells in the parking lot! He fries em on the spot ( SO GOODand his tamales are to die for! The zipline is always so fun and entertaining 😄 love the music choices as well. Overall a great place! Cant wait to be back for the rides!
Fun times always! Best Biggest two scoop ice cream! Great sunsets.
amazing option to spend a family day, free admission, $1 dolar tickets to rides (from 5 per ride and upfood, beach, indoor pool, arcades.... everything to spend an amazing day !
Love the Wooden Rollercoaster. Free parking is great. They also have other rides, restaurants, beach side, indoor pool.Overall great family attraction and price is very reasonable for West Coast.
Very unexpected amusement park on the beach. My granddaughter had a blast. Vendors, food, shopping and of course the beach.
Take your daughter take your mother take your son take your brother take it take your dog pic sheet take it the day I dont know who you going to take but take them to Belmont Park because youre going to have lots of fun they will drive you crazy will cost you an arm and a leg but at the end of the day memories are forever
Wow, at first it looks small but there is a ton of things to do here. The kids were entertained for a long time and loved being here. There is something for all ages. Lots of food choices but the parking is horrible and almost always hard to find parking.
Went there with the my family, and we had a blast! There are rides for little ones as well as adults. Hadnt been there since a long time ago. Parking was a challenge, however. Roller coaster was awesome!
Wanna relax in the grass and people watch! Want to ride the amazing rides for the thrill seekers! How about play in the arcade and test your skills! It here! The attractions and food let alone are worth your time. Did I mention the pacific beach is a stones throw!
Took my son to Belmont for his 19th bday!He wanted to play some mini golf. We had fun but they need to upgrade some of the carpet cause pieces are falling off. The arcade was lame. Some games werent working or took our money without play. But we found stuff to do. The burger place was yummy but overpriced. The Big Dipper was awesome as usual! You move around alot cause its wooden. It was a nice environment in general. Its open in full swing! Lots of people enjoying the beautiful San Diego day!!
It was a beautiful day and we had a fun time. Enoyed the sun at the beach with delicious food and great drinks!
Loved being on the Boardwalk near the beach. There was a variety of rides that were thrilling enough to get the adrenaline flowing. Loved the wooden coaster that was built in 1925. Definitely worth coming back!
Our favorite place to go since I was little an when grandma was little too! Lots of fun things to do! Arcade an rides are open! Ice cream is the best on the beach!
Generally an expensive but fun time out with the family. Plenty of activities to do, decent food, and an ice cream shop that gives you A LOT of ice cream for the $. If you hit up Costco first Ive heard they have a good deal on wrist bands at much less than the price at the gate. The arcade is mediocre with at least half of the interesting games not functioning and the rest setup to take your kids money like a Vegas casino. Stay away from the scamtastic claw machines and good luck!
Fun for the kids. It was a rainy off and on day and the staff was great. The kids enjoyed the arcade, tilt a whirl, bumper cars. Then the funnel cake didn’t disappoint or the waffle cone either.
Fantastic fun for the family! The rides were great, as was the food... Round Table pizza, Hotdog on A Stick, and the Giant Ice Cream scoop topped it all off!Highly recommend this location if you have kids over 50" inches tall.
Kids had a great time on the rides and carnival games. The arcade is pretty big but also very crowded with lots of kids running around unmasked. Theres plenty of food options and shops. Overall, great experience and would definitely come back.
Took my son for play date here, he’s 3 & pretty short so we didn’t have a lot of options when it came to the rides, two rides we tried to do together we were told no (bumper cars & outdoor obstacle course. However, we still had an amazing time.He absolutely loved the arcade room! Was his favoriteTickets for Rides a kinda steep (considering we could only ride 3 rides)Was worth the money for his first experience there! We still had a blast & will return
Im sure its great fun with kids, My car is the size of a golf cart and I found the parking TIGHT. Parking was free though. Its like an old carnival right on the beach, free to walk through-tons of really good food. Very compact but it has mini golf, a few carnival rides, picture booth, an escape room. It seems geared for ages 9-16. Bring your wallet.
Lots of fun! Unfortunately most of the rides and attractions we were interested in were closed but we enjoyed the ones we were able to. I couldn’t ride the roller coaster because my big thighs wouldn’t allow the lap bar to go down to the level it needed to. The Octotron was surprisingly so much fun! The funnel cake was delicious although kinda pricey. The bacon wrapped pickles were tasty but the pickle slices are way too big! There was a lot of seaweed on the beach but we still had a great time!
