Bellygood in Maryborough

Just picked up our phone order, was served by the rude Asian lady who told us that we were incorrect when we asked why our food wasn’t handed to us as we ordered. We asked for specific food to be removed from the meal due to allergies and when we just asked if she could remove it, she told us no and to leave the store. $60 spent, won’t be going back there. Wouldn’t recommend this place

Just went and picked our phone order and my partner was treated with the utmost disrespect I have ever witnessed from a business. My partner suffers a non contagious skin condition which sometimes results in a couple of red marks on his face , whilst paying for our order the rude asian lady assumed to to be the owner that served continually stared at my partner multiple to which I gave a look that asked what she was staring at she then pointed to her own face and told us bye to leave the shop. This is the most rudest person I have ever come across from any business owner and it should be be that if you look different in any she thinks she has the right to be that rude , well lady your food is not that nor are your manners or your English or understanding of English and I will not ever spend another cent in that shop and hope no other customers will be treated this way if you are different in any way . Learn some manners lady before you think you can run a business! I would not be giving this place even one star it would be a a negative star but I have to give it at least 1 star to put the post up !

Worst food and customer service! I ordered chicken laska and it was just a bowl of laska broth with not one bit of chicken and only a few vegetables floating in it. Would not refund me when I rang to inform them either. Dont go there its rubbish food and even worse customer service.

Made an online order still stuffed it up and had to wait for it to be remade and had to wait for it to be cooked very poor form poor effort and a very poor rude lady Food was tasteless wont be back

Worst customer service ever for the worst meal ever. Pink long soup with pink noodles and that was after asking for it to be remade because they put chilli in it.Could not eat. One star is too many.

We ordered delivery which came really quickly, however I think too quickly.We couldn’t find a single cashew in the Chicken and cashew nut, the Tom Yum soup was missing lemon grass, and smelt and tasted unpleasant. The fried rice was okay. The dim sims were very watery. We did expect a $50 order to be a lot nicer. Very disappointed.

Belly good Kai, Im only here for the feed and thats all..hubby and wifey setup, I think the wifey needs some love thou..tried to crack a joke as us kiwis do, but no response..hubby got it thou 😄

Edit to post as can’t reply to owners response.This isn’t a fake account and this isn’t the poster from previous review. I never once called your workers anything and you pretended to not understand me at one stage which is very unprofessional and says a lot about your business. I tried my best and spoke to you for the most part respectfully which was met with phone lines being disconnected? You didn’t want to sort the issue out as your shop is ‘never wrong’ all you had to do to resolve the issue was get the order resent out to the correct address and apologise for the mistake, maybe your drivers age needs to be reconsidered if he is over 60 and obviously can’t get an address right.My parents ordered through Bellygood on the 10/04/22 they received a text saying their food was on its way just after 7pm. They never received this order, they rang and owner tried to pretend they couldn’t understand and said call tomorrow and speak to Aussie girl. The driver called my parents well past 9pm to say he delivered the order and it was to the correct address. Followed with I am never wrong.Since my parents still aren’t feeling well I thought I’d try and resolve the issue with the business as I have already brought this to Menulog’s attention. The owner was extremely shocked I called passed me onto the cook who had a go at me and said I was lying. He yes did say to come down to resolve as I was using their phone line and was worried about losing customers. The phone line kept having a bad connection and dropping out or they hung up …. I called back 30 minutes later as they wanted the driver to call me, this time was met with call Menulog not our problem and the driver told me he delivered to correct address when asked what address he delivered to.We are all human but it’s not that hard to admit when your at fault and when you made a mistake. Could of just need a dyslexic moment and got numbers wrong, but to treat customers disrespectfully and not liking when they match the level of disrespect they receive is not on.Maybe they can try to do the right thing tomorrow. We have lodged a complaint with Menulog so hopefully can at least get a refund by the company for their mistake.

Ordered bellygood to be delivered last night 10/04/21. Got a message saying it was being delivered at 7:07pm. DID NOT RECEIVE THE DELIVERY. Rang through twice, acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. Asked them if they could please ring there delivery driver, they refused. Said it was a problem for menulog. Menulog said it’s there own personal delivery driver. Delivery driver rings at 9:20pm and proceeds to inform me that I NEVER MAKE MISTAKES, I’VE DELIVERED YOUR ORDER. Yes delivered but to wrong address. Said he would follow up today and let me know where he delivered it to, that was another lie as well.The staff that I spoke with was extremely rude, and obnoxious. I have NEVER been treated like this before. I am so disgusted with the treatment, and contempt that I received. They would not replace the order and I got told under no circumstances would I get a refund.What a joke!!!!! A complete waste of $50.00 down the drain for someone else to enjoy.I WILL NEVERORDER OR STEP FOOT IN THAT STORE OR ORDER THROUGH THEM EVER AGAIN. BEWARE!!!!!

Staff were very rude with ordering did not let us take our time to order. When bringing the dish out we had finished half of our meal before rice was brought out that was ordered at the same time. Definitely wouldn’t buy here again quite displeased.

driving through on new years Day, one of the few places open. very abrupt counter service, bathrooms were available to use which was handy, but there was lots of water on the floor so Im wishing I hadnt. only takeaway available but no cutlery available - "government rules" they claim.teriyaki chicken had only carrot as the vegetables, isnt wasnt terrible but wasnt anything special.hubbys nasi goreng was ok but tasted oily.

Extremely rude lady on the counter. We ordered 3 dishes for family of 4, she refused to give us 4 small plates so we could eat them. Unbelievably rude.

Im on a date with my girlfriend, i understand people may get grumpy but never towards people buying food as a first time experence the rude ladie need to be more respectful towards any customer that walks in. Under term of a Asian Cuisine foods fine just pricey. But when you offer "king prawn" look up what the standard size of a king prawn is before serving as serving standard prawns and using them as a larger poster to boost sales can be under fraud.

Tried calling this store 14 times to place an order. Went to message bank each time. Even if they are busy one would think that they would have staff to man the phones. Very poor service.

Ordered off menu log, got the dish, Im normally ok with this sort of thing but this noodle dish is so full of ginger and almost inedible. i contacted the shop to explain the situation and the woman on the phone just kept pretending to not understand me. first time ordering here, wont be back. I have contacted menu log, hopefully they can sort this out. I wish I read the reviews first, probably would have just gone to Maccas.

Was looking forward so a lovey lunch with workmate but the food was unfortunately extremely salty to the point of not being able to eat.

Im a long time customer that bellygood has lost due the food being full of potatoe, which the chinese regard as peasant food.I rang to question this and the lady who answered phone was quite rude and pretended she could not understand me, I will take my business and money to another establishment. No rating at all, though I had to give one star to be able to post and I take that star back, for this poor, poor performance!

Very rude food is yuk n who give boil rice. over priced Website say one thing then u go in n they try n say a different thing then they play dumb like they cant speak English u have to speak our language to get into Australia I give them 0 stars will never go back there the soup was meant to b short soup more like vegetables n noodles

How many times do you need a negative review based on rude service before you change.I had a little read of some reviews, and many of your customers point out the “rude lady”Well I got to meet her today and clearly she doesn’t care bout the feedback. Because she’s still RUDE!Here’s some pointers......SMILE, say thank you like you actually appreciate customers hard earned money, don’t stare at waiting customers with that nasty frown. Oh did I mention smile.It’s a pity because the cool out the back seemed really lovely. Maybe get him to cool and serve and maybe your google review rating might creep up a little.Lady.....YOU RUDE!

Ordered food for my birthday dinner and was food poisoned severely!! $75Went into the shop today to talk to the cook and other worker still feeling off.The lady serving behind the counter was picking her nose in front of me and I had to remind her to wash her hands, she was angry and sour faced. NO STAFF had gloves on!!I returned the food to the shop this morning in the box and the shop did not open until after 11.30 - 12 oclock so I took it back home.The food will be returned to them tomorrow as I still have it all, overcooked gluggy and watery, Very unsatisfactory!!Very rude staff , here i am sick and I havnt even received a call from the owner as I was told!!!Special fried rice - gluggySingapore noodle - runnySweet/ sour pork - dry/ crunchyOmelette - had bones in it??Sate chicken - wateryHorrible food, rude woman on counter, Would not recommend ! Good food, especially smoked veges.Just a tip: do not order pork buns, which was the only negative of our lunch experience.

Missing a dish. Rang restaurant organised a replacement dish. Told us to come down in 10 minutes. Arrived. Managers refused to give us the dish unless we paid for it. Explained that we had paid and didnt come with delivery. Showed order number still refused and quite rude. Calmly explained we had been loyal customers since opening. Abusive. Would not listen. Left store feeling ripped off. Their large meals are not large nor do they fill the container. Update....dish finally delivered by driver...very apologetic. Follow up phone call from owner apologising. Thanks.

Special fried rice & Honey chicken are super yummy, and the service is very friendly. I’m strongly recommend this restaurant.

Belly good doesnt seem to like indigenous people as Ive attempted to order at this restaurant on several occasions only to be turned and & told that they DO NOT have that item in stock this has happened to myself over the past 3 weeks & It also happend to my younger sister as they turned my sister away because of the jumper she was wearing Ive then tried to attend again tonight only for them to take my order then turn around and say no stock but then they proceed to show me the customer before me had order the same item twice how is this possibly

Really good Asian food. The prawn cutlets are the best Ive ever had.They also deliver via Menulog; one of the only restaurants in Maryborough that does.

Low Quality. Awful food. Tastes revolting. I will never use this shop again. Bellygood use to be great. But not anymore. They have seriously dropped their standards.Dont even bother getting Garlic King Prawns...the Prawns are Small, defernitely not king prawns. Also if you order anything in a large serving, to share, its what most restaurants would call a medium.

Whats going on with this restaurant?Last night I ordered Sate Chicken Noodle as a take away. When I get home and started eating it i notice that theres potato pieces in it.Who puts potato in a Chinese dish?I called them and asked why there is potato in my Sate chicken, their response was that the vegetables they use in their dishes are seasonal.If I wanted Chicken and potatoes I would have gone to Red Rooster.Next time I place my order I will ask what vegetables they will be putting in the dish.

Very unimpressed by the customer service. Went there for lunch, lady at the counter had no smile and poor customer service rushing us to make an order. Food was average. Pad Thai tasted bad - will only go to Thai restaurants for Pad Thai now. Would not go there again.

Overpriced meals that lacked flavour. Garlic prawn noodles was 99% dry, flavourless noodles with some shredded carrot and 4 prawns. Much prefer natural noodles however they were closed. Won’t be back.

No doubt the best Asian cuisine I have had in Queensland. Very reasonable prices, large servings, friendly staff & even a delivery service. Bellygood has a huge menu of delicious meals to choose from. After you have tried the cuisine, everytime you think of Bellygood it will keep your mouth watering for months until you go back. Totally recommend trying the Rainbow Beef and the Bellygood Special Fried Rice is a meal on its own as well as a very wholesome special fried rice. If you are in Maryborough and you dont try Bellygood, you have only experienced half what the town has to offer. I guarantee whatever the dish, it will beat any Asian cuisine you have tried to date, hands down!!

Chewy beef, if it is beef with too much sauce that over powers the taste of the individual ingredients. Give it a miss!

Refused refund of meal due to 3x ant like bugs in the rice. His answer was "but we dont charge for rice" if I could give less than 1 star, I would!!

Food is good and quick served. However woman taking orders was quiet rude as i misunderstood her english and gave her wrong money. Then again as i was leaving as i didn’t hand over order ticket.

Delicious meals, fresh vegetables and peaceful atmosphere. Meals are always prepared fresh and fast. Great place to bring a crowd.

Food is always good, but lady at the counter could barely understand me and I couldnt understand her. On top of that I had to wait (no exaggeration45 minutes for a takeaway meal. Lots of other very unhappy people in the store who had obviously waited just as long as me. To top it all off I watched one of the kitchen staff come back in from a break or doing a delivery, walked into the kitchen and started handling food without first washing his hands. Not good enough.

Owner stared us down the whole time like we were all trying to rip her off. There were 8 of us eating and we were about the only people there. Service was rude, food was disgusting. Avoid.

Straight Garbage, food was terrible the rainbow beef was not eatable was dirty and old i dont think it was even beef it smell very bad,The teriyaki chicken is not teriyaki theirs no teriyaki flavor on it its straight water and salt, and the spring roll no flavor at all, and it give us pain in the belly, , will be calling the food and safety

I have eaten at every single fast food place you can name but this is the only one that charged me 30 bucks for a 20 dollar meal. If you eat here make sure these people dont try and get extra cash out of you. Very very shady Asian shop that must think their customers are silly.

Weve been sitting waiting for our order of 3 dishes for over an hour and still counting and we just watched the man who was originally serving at the front counter walk into the kitchen, the cook dropped a prawn on the floor, and he picked it up and put it in the bowl again. Thank god i didnt order anything with prawns.

I have slowly been working my way through the menu. I am yet to have a bad dish, and in fact I do occasionally get stuck on a dish for a few weeks before moving on. I absolutely love the special fried rice, and the Malaysian chicken curry. They are my two faves, but the chicken cashew nut, the tom yum soup, the carbonara, garlic prawns, sweet and sour pork and rainbow beef are all delicious too.

To start off with we ordered our meals at 615 pm and received the meal at 715 pm I put it down to the five dishes ordered. But our friend ordered her four dishes at the same time and she received hers aprox 15 min before. Also several people ordered after our meals and they were roughly three dish orders. When we finally got our food, the food quality was very very poor to say the least. The Pad Thai was a dish of steamed cabbage and noodles. The honey chicken had no honey. The Singapore noodle tasted like the lid came off the pepper container.The most disturbing aspect of the meal was the Mongolian lamb had the remanants of steel wool scouring pad mixed in with the meal. This was only found after it was extracted from the mouth of a minor. When I phoned up and complained about the meal and the foreign object, the owner (a "Jessie"stated she was sorry for the bad meal, however did not want to refund the meal and by her tone couldnt have cared less and went to the extent of trying to smooth it over with a replacement Mongolian lamb.I for one will not be ever dining at that establishment ever and I will be reporting the food contamination to the health board. I will also be warning off all of my friends family and social acquaintances with my experiences with this establishment and any associated chain restaurant.
