Bukhara, Uzbekistan, Kogon
Chain venue for Italian pasta, pizza and grill dishes, with a special children's menu.
Dont come here thinking that youll have a traditional Italian-style oven-baked pizza, or you will leave disappointed. The setting outside, still, is quite cozy. Also have to mention that their cocktails are, especially price to quality-wise very good.Service is also friendly and efficient.
Is it authentic Italian food? No. But is it delicious and a nice bit of variety? Absolutely. We especially loved the salads. The staff was super friendly and spoke good English as well as Russian. Do yourself a favour and order the “chocolate fondant” which is a gooey and delicious lava cake.
This is the best restaurant in Uzbekistan my family and I went to so far! With the best service we have ever had!!! I truly recommend going there!
Came here wanting a change from Uzbek food. No caprese, lasagne was meh or rather mushy, and generally very average. Also have you ever known a restaurant where there is no dessert menu and you have to go to the adjacent cafe to get dessert? Or so I was told by the waiter. On that note, I must have been blessed with the most miserable member of staff in that restaurant. If you’re going to slap a premium service charge (20%onto the bill, especially when most other restaurants charge 10 or 15% service charge then I expect premium service, this I did not receive.
Very nice restaurant, I was actually surprised to find such a nice authentic European dishes in Bukhara- well done! Hopefully you can do delivery as well as Im hungry for more:)
Loved their food 😋
We ordered a vegetarian pizza and got one with meat, despite making it clear to the server more than 3 times that we dont eat meat. The vegetarian pizza that arrived 15 mins later was fairly decent though. We ordered fries too and the portion was too small. Despite bungling up the order, we had to argue with them to remove the 20% tip (which was added automatically to the bill). The much talked about service levels are hard to see. Skip this one, there are better restaurants around Bukhara.
Came here needing a change from Uzbek food. It did not disappoint! Is it amazing Italian food? No, but it tastes fine and gives you some dietary variety.Spaghetti bolognaise was tasty, margherita pizza was very cheesy. Price for the 2 dishes and 2 soft drinks was 110000som including service charge (about 10usd - pretty reasonable for the area).Service is very attentive, atmosphere is nice.
Great food!
Great restaurant
When we were planning Bukhara trip, almost all friends recommended this restaurant. We really loved it, delicious cuisine, perfect service, security and wardrobe services.Italian pizza and pastas were very good, and also we tried sushi and rolls, which were very good too.Restaurant have surprised us with a compliment Ice cream at the end, which made kids really happy 😊
I love this place. The best place in Bukhara. The service is great. I love it 😀 😍 ❤.
Nice
Very tasty 😋, but over priced
Good and consistent quality food in a pleasant and clean setting. The staff is attentive and friendly. This is a good spot if you need an alternative to local cuisine.
We visited this place for coffee after dinner from Mr Baxzod and Mr Shahzod our colleagues from Bukhara.
Ordered online but did not received the call from the restaurant. Tried to call them but phone listed does not work. Had to walk all the way from hotel to this restaurant. Staff did not acknowledge that they received my order and they were indifferent and careless. I ordered my food for delivery again and left this place. Do not recommend this place to anyone.
Very nice restaurant, with elegant decor. It is well located, not far from the hotels and historic monuments. The menu is varied, and the food is very tasty. The staff is welcoming, and the prices are moderate. Highly recommended.
Ok food, good decor, reasonably priced
When you are sick and tired of shashlik and plov, its good place for refreshment.Good service and acceptable price.
Nice place. Super clean toilet
Good for when you need a break from plov and shashlik. Spnich ravioli was pretty good. Expect tourist prices.
Very Bad. Dishes were tasteless
Found it to be closed for private function TWICE.Read a couple of reviews saying it could happen but decide to give it a try as we were staying close by. Came at lunch time and dinner. They have a lounge yard that was closed during lunch. The main part was empty at dinner but we were refused service there. They let you sit in a small cafe attached to the restaurant which only serves coffee, desserts and sushi.
I went there to have dinner and its was close because of a function.
I came here on 2 separate nights. The first night was Eid-al-Aldha and it was crowded. The service was noticeably slow but they managed to push the food out. I ordered a chicken cream pasta, a sushi roll, a mushroom soup and a cold mint tea. Everything except the sushi roll was absolutely delicious. It was so good, I decided to give a second try the next night. The next night was less crowded so the food came out quicker. I ordered the shrimp cream pasta with mushroom soup, mint iced tea, and honey cake. Again, everything was delicious but special mention to the honey cake. IT WAS SOOO GOOD, probably one of the best cakes I had in my life! On both nights, the service was excellent and the servers were professional. Definitely, the best restaurant in Bukhara, just dont order the Japanese dishes.
all 4 of us feeling happy after this dinner :so we tried few soups - great, pasta was great as well and pizza amazing :and besides from food, for me personall, best experience was one from drinks menu - green tea with pear and mint, so tees and drinks are also worth of shot. moreover cozy outside sitting with friendly service. place recommended :)
Salad, pasta, delicious if employees are kind
Wonderful pizza! And great service in English too! Would definitely recommend for a break from Uzbek food!!
Terrible pizza.Bad personnel.
Hello this is Jay Dessy from New York I know good Italian food when I see it and this was the best meal I’ve ever had! Sorry Mom!
Good ambience. Food we ordered was excellent in taste however service needs improvement.
Possibly Bukharas worst restaurant - not a chain, as the Google description inaccurately states. Upon entering we were greeted with a wall of cigarette smoke from the innumerable people smoking in the restaurant, (isnt this now illegal in Uzbekistan?), and groups of inebriated men shouting at most tables, who seemed to be the primary clientele; this stands to reason as it would take a considerable dulling of the senses to make this place even the slightest bit passable. My partners meal arrived, a sort of microwaved risotto mush reminiscent of my student cooking days, and then mine turned up forty minutes later. I can only imagine the delay was caused by the need to dispatch staff to a local supermarket with the instruction "bring back the worst frozen lasagna you can find", because thats what eventually turned up. There was no apology for the delay save for the look of shame the waiter bore from that point onwards.Upon receiving the bill we were dismayed to discover that the music provided, a sort of mix of Russian euro-pop and party time at the nursing home numbers being slaughtered by a nameless assailant to a backing track, was included on the bill. Thats right, we had to pay for the privilege of not being able to hear ourselves think. This is Dolmio-esque, out the jar food for people who struggle to spell the word spaghetti, served up in a setting created by someone who once had someone describe a restaurant to them, but who had never actually set foot in one. This place makes Olive Garden look like La Pergola. Avoid.
Steack is not well enough delicious and salads are as it were prepared the day before yesterday. One plus for cocktails. They are excellent
I came to the restaurant and it seemed to be booked completely by a private party (wedding or so). The restaurant was half empty but they did not let me in.
Good selection of vegetarian food. Amazing vegetable cream soup and very good risotto. The vegetarian pizza was also amazing, but the vegetarian pasta was average. Lovely desserts, excellent drinks. Really, really attentive service.
If you come expecting amazing authentic Italian food, you will be disappointed. But if you want good service where the food all comes together and you can order something other than shashlik, this is the perfect place. The chicken steak was perfectly cooked. The risotto was just rice (the texture was not quite like risotto), but the flavor was very good. Prices reasonable. I definitely recommend.
Very good food. Excellent service
Not wood fired pizzas but good taste nonetheless. Has live singer who can sing in uzbek, English and Russian
Best food in town
Best restaurant for tourist craving for English speaking service, amazing pizza, salads and wine.
Cozy!
Excellent foodExcellent environment
Delicious pizza, great atmosphere and delicious, reasonably priced adult beverages.
By far the best service in Bukhara. The pizza was spectacular! So good, we ordered more for later.
One of a few places where you go to escape daily hassles and relax just like you been to Europe :)
Great location, menu and services!
Nice place for evening dinner, you can come with children , they have play zone for children and pizza
Good food and service. A nice break from Uzbek cuisine.
The food is sufficient. Do not order any lemonade here!
