Bell Island is a beautiful part of NFLD & LAB and has some amazing views from all areas. The eastern point with the light house is just another example of the Islands history and beauty.

Visited on the recommendation of family. There was no wait for a table, and it is a sit yourself restaurant. Menu is small, with a variety of options. We visited on a weekday afternoon. Experience may be different on a weekend, or during normal meal times.Main: Breakfast is served all day, and the portion of the super breakfast was fantastic. It included 2 eggs, 3 meats (bacon, sausage, and bologna), beans, and toast. Sandwich is small, and the fruit side that was mentioned on the menu was not included. Ham and cheese sandwich is on regular grocery store bread. Ham is processed deli ham, and a cheese single. Great option for a light lunch!Desert: Tart shells are made fresh. Be sure to order when you order your main course as it takes 10-15 minutes to make. Made in house vanilla cake with local berries and cream was delicious.View of lighthouse and bay is amazing!

Closed. Not even a historical plaque.Bell Island itself is not worth the visit. Nothing to do, see, no maps, no directions, no attractions other than the closed mine. It, too, needs overhaul. So much potential but no one seems willing to invest.The ferry was affordable and lovely. Leave yoy car on the mainland and just do the ferry across and back, then continue on to another destinationI feel terrible saying this but until the residents and Tourism and whomever puts some effort in, it is not woth the time

A beautiful location on Bell Island.The cafe was closed, which was disappointing as it was a weekend in July?

Despite the fact that the cafe opens in mid July, this place is a must go when you are at Bell Island. The geography is incredible, and the lighthouse is simple and very well maintained. Would recommend stopping here if you are coming in the summer!

Cafe wasn’t open but the views are spectacular.

Visited in May 2022 and it just felt like ticking off an item in places to visit in bell island. The place looks blank (but clean and well maintainedthough no details about the lighthouse was available at the site.All around the lighthouse is fenced as at May 2022 and the cafe run by Tourism Bell Island wasn’t open. I am not sure whether that was because it was a Saturday. Hence, can’t comment on its quality.

Peacefully and beautiful.The perfect place to sit back and listen to the waves crash on the beach.

Awesome place... Nice scenes and serenity is there. The water of the sea is so blue.. Great place to visit. If you are going with a group it will be better. Visiting alone or family is also okay! Great windy fields with the view of the Atlantic. There is also a restaurant there. Providing good food and beverages.

Its a small light house here but the view from the edge of the cliff and a small island with cave underneath it is just amazing. One of a kind beautiful spots.

The hike around the Bell Island Lighthouse is spectacular, the lighthouse is nice but nothing major. The restaurant and gift store are fun. Definitely recommend exploring the area.

This is actually the opposite end of the Island the day before...Bell Rock with Bell Island proper to the right. Picturesque place....Small boats can navigate the narrow tickle on light wind (no sea swelldays.

This was by far one of the most scenic places on the island.A must for anyone that loves rugged landscape.

Bell island has such a unique charm to it for locals and tourists. If you plan a day trip outside of St. John’s this is the place to visit. Enjoy the view and thank me later

Beautiful scenery!

This is a wonderful place for views of the north part of Conception Bay which is a beautiful part of the world. There is a restaurant and you can sit outside and dine. Unfortunately the food is mediocre.

Very cool spot.

Always nice to go home to the lighthouse (used to live up the road). Beautiful view. Did not stop at the cafe as it was closed, but it had lovely gardens for fresh produce and some nice places for kids to hang out nearby. As always the natural trails really make it a wonderful spot to fuel up, take some pics, and start out on a hike. If you like quiet and scenery, its wonderful!

Worth the ferry ride, which was quite enjoyable on this glorious day. Mine Tour, Light House Point and the people of Bell Island are wonderful.

Scenery unmatched and where else in Canada can you get an egg salad sandwich on homemade bread Loves it here I do!
