Good for drink, nice and friendly located inside intercontinental book as you come in if youre not eating

A great choice. The standard BC menus you know from everywhere. Good service great beers and good quality food. Big outside terrace with big screen but you need to book if you want to sit outside during World Cup.

Poor service and management:the bar manager gulierme carmago racist rude and unprofessional, making ppl paying after each drink based on color / raceshameful behavior in such multicultural city he can be an avrage waiter somewhere elseHope that intercontinental check the background of the management representing them

Huge space, but reservations are recommended to ensure you have seats. It’s a short walk from the metro. Great outdoor patio, mostly in the shade. Five or six draft beers, about 10-15 more on bottle. TV for matches. Recommended place in Doha.

Recently I had an opportunity to spend my evening at Belgian cafe with my friends.....The food was excellent and so was the ambience, but the best was the amazing service. I want to take this time out to appreciate one of your fnb staff Mr. Apan Das, he was attentive, knowledgeable and always taking care of us, sugessting food and drinks. This was my first time in Belgian cafe and probably will visit again.

The food was amazing. We had oysters and mussels and they were all so fresh. Ester and Gui were amazing too. They took very great care of us. What a great night out we had! Definitely one of the best places to hang out in Doha. Highly recommended

Place for chilling with your friends having a cold drink, open terrace, and good ambience. Draft beers: Heineken, Stella, Leffe.

Food quality low. Yesterday I ordered Salmon with mashed potatoes, and the mashed potatoes were extremely spicy. (???Noisy place, smoke smell, not very clean space. I am surprised by the power that alcohol has, which attracts so many people to come.

The Belgian cafe is a great place to wind down after work, they have a smaller menu that’s reminiscent of a pub in the UK; their outdoor seating is perfect in the winter for a night out!

If you you love a 1 KG bucket of tasty mussels, this is a must go spot for you! 😍 Its a great sport pub as well. Id definitely go there again.

Nice place to meet with friends for sundowners or ordinary drinks, or some food. I was there for drinks so dont know about the food, but looked good. The guys behind the bar are friendly and service minded without being pushy. The place I clean and spacious, bright with nice wood interior.

The atmosphere was alright and the drinks are very expensive. Would benifit from a live music stage, witn seating placed within view of the stage.

The food and drink are very nice. Also the staff, Ram he is very attentive to details and he took a good care of me and my friend. The vibes is nice.

We went to Belgian after work, the waiter Aopin assist us immediately and he is attentive. We enjoyed the ambiance, food and service overall

Great Beers !! Pathetic service..waiters dont know table numbers beers go always in wrong table them go to bar men then go to station holder then goes to one ordered then if you are lucky it comes to you !! Poor trained staff , no knowledge of product they are serving. Must they serve are rancid and I m sure kept open for days and get offal in taste. Waiter move in front of your table but no one notices empty beer glass and then if you are lucky after 15-20 minutes you ask some one for a refill ...I am sure no one cares as they are selling beers and making money !!One of the worst Belgian Beer cafes I have been to... PATHETIC !!

I had the pot of mussels. Must have been out of season..they were the smallest muscles I have ever seen...some had no meat in them at all.The creame garlic, was watery and not creamy. So it was OK but thats about all.The football room and outside was Jamed with smokers..so be prepared to mix it with smokers.I prefer non smoking and was obviously one of the very few.Decor and staff were good. But I should have been warned about the muscles. Value for money they aint.In Australia I would pay less than half...and quality a very long way better.Beer was ice cold on a day of over 40c outside.June 2022.

5/5 Best cocktails in Doha, you can also smoke here, which I enjoy for my cigars. Great atmosphere, very spacious, great service, and a phenomenal view.

Lovely spot, good views, good grub; the pub has a non smoking section that allows children - perfect for families and another section for smokers 😬. Wait there’s a outdoor section too if u like the heat. Bad part - the bar stools are terrible.

Lovely vibe, beautiful pub. Service is TERRIBLE! Be aware that when you call the Belgian Cafe phone number, you are not being put through to the restaurant itself but the hotel reception.I booked twice and both times, over the phone was told that the kitchen closes at 1am for last food orders, only to find out that the kitchen actually closes at 11.30pm. Not such a huge problem generally but considering the restaurant is fully booked always and requires a reservation which we only got at 10pm, it counts. We ordered a starter and by the time the plate was cleared we were told we could not order a main meal.No one informed us of this at the start. We also had to wait over an hour for a waiter to serve us even though we had booked. We had to get up for our own drinks several times. Very unprofessional. This was our first time here and it was disappointing.There was one waitress who did make a plan and allow us to order from a different restaurant. She was the only saving grace.Work on your communication with customers and within your reception and restaurant employees. It is ridiculous that all calls go to reception who say one thing when it isnt true.

Very good place, especially outdoor seating to enjoy an evening, watching football or the live music and having a bear.I asked a salad and was very good and well prepared. The client service was very good, except to the organizer at the entrance that should have some training for client service, or changed.

Ambiance is very nice and cozy. Food is delicious. They also serve drinks. The prices are reasonable not too expensive.

I enjoyed the best veal schnitzel Vienna style. Terrific service. Gorgeous views.

It is a nice place to chill out from the hot weather and have a nice cold beer . The food was good and the ambiance was amazing . The only issue at the entrance of the caffe they ask for the vaccination card for tourists even though we are staying in the hotel and this has been checked at the lobby of the hotel as well at the airport . Ihtiraz app should be enough but they insist to see the vaccination card .

Truly best place to chill out for meal and a few pints of drinks! They serve Belgium beers as main seller, mussels is my favourite and children are allow to dine in with parents. Happy hour up to 6pm. Entertainer voucher applicable for main course.

Excellent atmosphere, perfectly cooked stake and slow cooked ribs.Nice Chocolate Moelleux but the Belgian Waffle was dry and not tasty.

We had the slow-cooked beef ribs and tenderloin! Both delicious--accompanied with a nice Chilean Malbec! Great experience!

We have been to Belgian Cafe pre covid and after. The service was consistent. The manager was attentive and friendly. Food was good as before covid. Its a nice place to go with family and friends. It is well spread out with enough social distancing when it reopened. Just have to book in advance, as its a favourite place for all.

Such a nice Beer House. Wide variety, Happy Hour and theres a smoking and non-smoking area. Great food too.

Turn left as you enter the Intercontinental Hotel main entrance and keep walking.The first section is an open plan pub area. There are a number of places to sit - pick any table.The next area is semi open with large patio doors overlooking the pool and garden.The next and final area is outside under large canvas sails that shadow you from the sun although some seating around the edge gets the full blast of the sunMenus are the same whatever area you choose.We visited early evening and there was plenty of room. I opted for the Veal Schnitzel. It was good quality served with a compote and spicy potato. They also serve artisan bread and butter at no extra cost - be sure to ask as the bread isnt always forthcoming.The expense is fairly high for what you get, but the surroundings, especially outside are very pleasant. Basic food for a once in a while treat. Nice bar with great seating area outdoor and indoor. The menu is great n have multiple dining options. I like the positive vibes in the bar. You get 15% off if you use your QNB credit card and they have discounts of you are an employee of some companies so ask the waters if your company is among the ones in their list.You can always go downstairs to have a walk around the pool n enjoy the sea view and breeze!

All the food I had save the fish and chips was great here. To be honest it would be five stars if the staff was trained a little more we placed orders several times and often we would have to ask more than one staff member. Stayed at the hotel for about ten days, covering an event hosted in Doha, and often ended up in there regularly around close. They were hosting both FIFA members and our group, had the hotel/bar done a bit of research and extended their hours to 2am-3am, they would have made a fortune. With sporting events often ending after 11pm or even 12 on some days, with press events after we regularly got back at 1am. Thats less on the staff and more on the flexibility of management.

My favorite place to hang. Spacious bar with a wonderful view. You can use the entertainer app on meals.TV to watch matches (football), bar inside and outside, smoking in open area.Update: happy hour no longer exists due to "sin tax". Prices are still fairly similar (maybe 5 riyals higher).

One of the BEST bars in Doha, if you like beers and Belgian / European food. Great appetizers, soups, mussels, steaks, fish and chips, nice selection of desserts. Definitely not the cheapest of places but not very overpriced either. Did I mention the beers? 🍻

Really great atmosphere and perfect day. The bar had great music on, a decent happy hour and had a really nice vibe for groups, couples and families. They had the cover over the patio when it was super warm but it was so nice when they opened it up to see the sky. They were also pretty attentive and had nice fondue that Id recommend! The servers were very sweet as well and brought us a heater at night when it was cooling down. We will definitely return! :)

Very lively pub atmosphere here. Beers are quite pricey as youd expect at 30 rials for happy hour. I was very disappointed that out of 4 beers on tap, only Stella was available.
