Beautifully renovated old house in Damascus. Rooms are so well decorated. The staff are super friendly and look after all your needs. The attention to detail is just praiseworthy. The owner is also super nice and hospitable. Some of the taps and doors need attention as they need a bit of oiling and maintenance but otherwise faultless.

Stayed in Beit-al Mamlouka during a visit to Syria with Marrota Travel Agency and this was an icing on the cake of a great trip. Very helpful and cordial staff, amazing tea, coffee, wifi, rooms and breakfast! The location is also on the very historical center of old Damascus, being very easy step wander around the place!

I felt I was sleeping in the Pashas bed. Truly an astounding awesome boutique hotel in old Damascus. Excellent service. I think for the owner Tony, maintaining this hotel must be a passion. The decor, the courtyards, the rooms must be seen to be believed. It reflects the amazing ability and ingenuity of the Damascus artisans of ancient times.

Absolutely outstanding hotel perfectly located, in the middle of the old city which makes it so helpful, friendly staff who go above and beyond to make sure you have the best time everLauren, Grace, Hassan, Khuloud, Maher, Nemer, Issa, and all of staff were an amazing people who made me feel like I’m really at my home all my 14 days of stayingThey serve an excellent traditional Syrian breakfast, they have a beautiful terrace where i used to spend my evening times enjoining the perfect weatherI will definetely come back every year and I would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here 13 years ago... But it was, and hopefully still is, amazing. A beautiful oasis of calm in an amazing part of the old city.

We have stayed here in November 2019 and everything was perfect. The hotel is situated in the old part of Damascus in a traditional Damascene house with beautiful central courtyard. All the staff was amazing, very polite, friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and spacious. Will definetly come back!

I want to thank the entire staff at Beit Al Mamlouka who made our trip exceptional. Mr. Tony and his staff were incredible. Their generosity and service is hard to find in this day and age, but they went above and beyond in every aspect. Truly an incredible stay and one we are looking forward to taking again.10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, beautiful and friendly stay in the heart of Damascus.

Beit Al-Mamlouka and Dar Al-Mamlouka are those places without which your experience of Old Damascus will be totally incomplete. Just entering the place you become surrounded by magic of these centuries-old places and incredible hospitality of Toni and his team! Every time I come to Damascus I cannot imagine staying in any other place but Dar or Beit Al-Mamlouka! The patio of traditional house can make you stay for hours just contemplating this beauty, rooms are full of antique touches - starting from furniture and carpets and finishing with high ceilings and chandeliers, yet it has everything that a modern accommodation shall provide with - AC, bathroom with hot water and all toiletries, and it is a job of a great talent to make these modern conveniences so invisible to not ruin a charm of a old-good-times place! Provided breakfast deserves a special word - its so plentiful and varied that it can pleasantly surprise any foodie:Thank you, Toni, for availing such places to us, travelers, although a mere "thanks" cannot describe feelings of someone checking-out from your places! There is a never fading feeling of that magic that is cast by your your place and hospitality!

Original oriental hotel with a hospitality that is perfect for the year 2019, it feels like home, 24/7 very good service , extremely generous breakfast, 24/7 electricity and air conditioning, the staff lauren Grace and Ahmed were very nice and professional.<br/>Highly recommend<br/>Surely we will be back soon

Its a nice work of ancient art hotel in Bab Touma. If you were looking for peaceful weekend you should visit this place. I love it very nice people. And the owners of the hotel are so gentle. Good prices. Must visit.

Stayed about 8 years ago and the place is stunning! Would love to go back some day. Lovely courtyard all hidden away off one of the narrow back streets. Perfect hotel in every way.
