Al Jada'ah، As-Salt, Jordan, As Salt
Beit Aziz - in As Salt, Jordan
This place is so overrated! The service is extremely slow, the food is below average and the hygiene is the worst! The only good thing was the Manaqeesh.
Absolutely loved it, has the old vibes of Jordan, & an amazing view to the city of Al-Salt, also the food is really good. We had breakfast & it was yummy, a beautiful local experience 😍♥️, I forgot to mention “Allayet Banadora” is wow 😋
View is very good.Food is deliciousTables and stairs show be cleaned and the tea bot
Positives- not crowded even on a Friday. Nice view. Seats are comfortable.Negatives- table: dirty (i used a tissue and hand sanitizer to clean it- turned out black), menu: filthy, argileh: water hasnt been cleaned since God knows when.Tried a salad- would not recommend the food. Tried a strawberry juice- made from frozen strawberries and tasted horrible. To summarize- try it if you want something new and passing in the area. Go for a tea or coffee.Staff was nice but slow, which was weird since there were only 2 tables at the time.
Very traditional and spiritual place, very suitable for hanging out with friends, family and even tourists, it really expresses the vibes of Salts old city, I will always visit this place with the people I love most, the food was very tasty and I felt like it was homemade, the prices were reasonable, the food was a bit late but the taste worth the waiting time
Service is good, people are welcoming, views of the old city are great, prices are reasonable
Excellent like home made food 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Tastless food, very expensive prices
Not the best place to take ur family to. the food was too expensive with small portions in every dish and the place is small and not well organised and clean as it should be .
A great place and location, BUT what a bad service!!! Rude staff, we waited for long time without being served, I had to write this review before even being served, as the impression so far is horribly bad!Simply, they need to change their management and staff!!
Service is slow, but food is good.
Great service, food was very delicious with a beautiful view
Slow service but very polite waiters
I was very excited to try this restaurant after being recommended by my local friends.. however, I was extremely disappointed by the slow service and the unprofessional staff .. we waited for one and half hours!!! and left eventually without having being served anything (not even drinks or appetizers!!! Wouldn’t recommend it - you’d be wasting your time ! Haven’t experienced a worst service than the one I experienced in this restaurant today.
Poor and slow serviceThe place is not clean enough
Beautiful place with good food and nice view over al Salt city!
A must go when visiting Salt, we went without a reservation but they managed to accommodate us. Food was good although it took a long time to be served. But for the price and views it’s definitely worth it.
Beautiful spot for breakfast/lunch/brunch, staff was really friendly and helpful. Every single dish we ordered tasted amazing. I’d recommend their mashed potatoes and mango juice. Very budget friendly.
Calm place good food and service they need to pay more attention to the place hygiene
Nice experience, good old fashioned foodNice place for breakfast and to chill
Great view, nice service, delicious food with welcoming team
Tasty food, but very small portions. The service is very slow and whenever we order something they say change the order because these orders take time!! Like they dont want to serve! We asked for homus they said it takes time!! What the hell!!! Dead staff barely walking and frowning all the time. If you are hungry and want to get your food quickly. Definitely dont go there! Yet the food is very tasty.
the service too slow , the dishes didnt arrive once their was a gap between what we ordered , liked the decorations , the staff needs more and more to be quickly, or you just simply need more professional staff in the kitchen
I am really disappointed that i am giving this place a two star. I was excited to try the experience at Bei Aziz, nonetheless; i was shocked with the food and the overall quality of the place and service 😕
Unique experienceGood food quality and amazing view
One of the oldest places in "salt" city which was the house of aziz jaser one of the most important men in the city ,the restaurant has wide food options for breakfast and dinner
I am really disappointed that i am giving this place a 3 star. I was excited to try the experience at Bei Aziz, nonetheless; i was shocked with the food and the overall quality of the place and service. It could have been btter.
1.the only thing good there is the view.. 2.we had lunch and the food was very cold and it took ages and it wasnt even that good... 3.it is not clean at all we had reserved a table and it was dirty no salt no pepper no tissues nothing and it was very dirty.... first and last time would not recommened
Unfortunately we had a bad experience. We waited an hour and 45 minutes for our food. Then food arrived cold and not fresh.Seems the staff and kitchen were overwhelmed. Friendly but incapable.
The place is stunning,The food is not super but clean.
Not ready to be a resturantWe drove from amman and once we arrived they couldn’t welcome us, it was Tuesday 1 pm. The apologized
The place has a great view, the food is yummi, and the service is good. It is also easily accessible and located at the heart of the city with many places to explore around. It is just important to take a confirmed reservation detailing how many people are coming, what time you will be there, and where you wish to be seated; otherwise you will feel like an unwelcomed guest.
Excellent local food especially suitable for breakfast, restaurant and its dining area is originally a 200+ year old house in Salt city, its a must visit at least once if not more
There is a scenic cafe that looks over the old city part of Salt. With a direct view of the citadel and the rooftops of the bazaar, the cafe has hookah, and a mezzanine menu. That said, service is rather slow with the staff being unmasked. But the food was good.
Good place with charming view! Great location as a Historical House in Alsalt! The food is delicious! The staff are friendly!
Loved the breakfast at this place, prices are reasonableYou have to reserve a table before arriving which is a thing we didnt know
We had a reservation there, but couldnt dine there, because we cant go up the stairs, the step is high and it is 3 floors, so we had to go to another restaurant, but the place was recommended to us, for its good food, but we should be younger and fit for those stairs
The restaurant is quite excellent. Went for a Friday family breakfast and we quite enjoyed it. The view is nice, and the atmosphere excellent. The food was great. I have had better in some breakfast joints in Amman, but it was really good still. The place was quite clean and the service was excellent. I had read the reviews before going and there were many that put me off, but none of them felt true today. The only comment I do have is that we were 6 people and the table was a bit small for us, but we managed without being bothered. Would most probably go again!
Would give it a zero if I could. worst service I have ever experienced,The waiter was rude.Took an hour to get food,The food was not very good quality and was overpriced,On top of that, i found hair in my french fries🤢🤢
I have been thinking since yesterday how to not to sound mean in my review.. but I guess I cant do it... I went to beit aziz after reading a lot about it, seeing good reviews and the nice view it has... and I can declare that this is the worst place I have visited in all of Jordan by far... first of all, its near a cemetery, actually you can see the tombstones while trying to figure out what you are eating.. food: the portions are small and over priced!I ordered a main chicken dish, (beit aziz chicken dishand a small dish came out, with small chicken pieces (no veggies or friesand it clearly was a reheated left over as it was semi cold and chewy as hell!! The other 4 dishes were only appetizers and I had to pay 20 JOD for only that small portion! The bread was old and not covered... Hygiene: dirty.. dirty.. dirty... the floor was dirty, our table was dirty as it had leftovers from the people before us, and when we asked for it to be cleaned the waiter actually put from the hygiene that was on the table and then wiped it with a tissue!!!!!!!!Now the service part, it was so bad that I am totally speechless.. I have never in my life saw a slow, impolite waiter (the other guy was at least polite).. to be fair the only good thing was the sambosa.. and maybe the view if you turned your head away from the cemetry... beit aziz never again in my life and I will make sure to warn my friends.
Very bad experience , service, and hygiene... we waited around 10 min for them to clean a table and the maximum they did is removing plates without cleaning the table. No one bother him self to ask if we need to order something. Not only that, I went to the manager and he promised to send someone, and again no one came.
Good food but bad service. It took over an hour to get our food, which normally takes 10-20 mins in other rests. Coming here for a breakfast with family or friends would be fun.
The service is very poor, the portions are uniquely small, the food is not good at all, very bad value for money. never recommended.
Heard a lot about the place and had great expectations, you will be mesmerized by the view, but anything else can be worked on, the food is ok and the staff need some work to make your visit more pleasant.
Staff can make our break a place, staff here will definitely be its downfall. They are downright disrespectful and clueless... they leave a lot to be desired about hospitality service. After an hour and a half waiting to be seated and served, we left without trying the food. It hadnt arrived. Had they served anything for the kids, we wouldnt have had to hear complaints from the take next to us that the kids were loud coz they were hungry. Not recommended at all.
We drove from Amman with high hopes, but were quickly dissapointed by a long wait for our reserved table. Followed by miserable service! Honestly the place is overrated and pretentious. I wish i had read this review beforehand.
Amazingly delicious traditional food from Salt for breakfast/lunch with a very authentic sitting area which matches the entire old city of Salt. Bathrooms clean, not expensive, incredible service and hospitality. 100% recommend for all ages. (If you want to come here keep this in mind: "the longer they make you wait the mire precious the result will be")
Very cozy atmosphere with good food and nice serviceWe’ve tried the restaurant many times, the food is good . From your place you can see a lot of the old places in Salt. The staff are really welcoming and friendlyPrices are reasonable comparing to the place and services
The location is beautiful with fantastic views of the city. However, it is still a work in progress. The service is terribly slow, despite there being many employees. Our tea and food came cold because they had sat for awhile before being served. It seems they are still developing. The prices are expensive compared to other restaurants in Salt, but they are reasonable.
An excellent view from the terrace to the old city of salt , staff are extremely friendly, one of the very few places in salt where you can enjoy a good food and setting with your family
