Beirut Restaurant in Saint Paul
Description
Privilege
THE BEST CHICKEN KABOBS!! This place is a family favorite! And get the Fattouch salad😍. Everything is always fresh, and the staff is great! I love the renovation they did, they have great seating and a cute little bar.
MoreHorrible it has changed so much ,expensive food and service very bad
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere
This is the most amazing consistently delicious food. My favorite place. Im so lucky that this is local and in my neighborhood. Every dish Ive have is amazing. The food is so fresh and flavorful. I tell everyone to eat here.
MoreI had a lovely experience at Beruit Restaurant. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Our server, Andrew, was knowledgeable and attentive. Well definitely be back!
MoreThe best, most authentic Lebanese food in the Twin Cities. Verified by the Lebanon-born boyfriend of my mother-in-law. He couldnt believe that the closest hes gotten to the flavors of Lebanon was in West Saint Paul, MN. We love it.
MoreGreat office catering option! John was a delight to work with and the food was AMAZING. It arrived right on time and was hot and easy to serve. Will definitely book again!
MoreAlways quick service and delicious food! Atmosphere is also delightful.
Always exceptional food with great service! A small business thats been around for long time and you can see why.
MoreGreat food and awesome service ,what more do you need
We go out of our way to go here and it is ALWAYS such a treat. Great sized portions, friendly staff. We love stocking up on their pickled goodies too.
MoreLove this restaurant from a dine in or take out experience. You can’t go wrong with much on this menu! I highly recommend getting the lebneh with any main dish, you won’t be disappointed.
MoreGreat food! Had The Sultan. Excellent! Others had kabobs. Best rice pilaf Ive had.
MoreVery friendly staff and the food is absolutely amazing highly recommended restaurant
MoreGreat restaurant lovely food with generous portions. Staff were friendly and helpful
MoreThey take way too long to bring the food to the table. We have been waiting 45 minutes and still no food. dont recommend.
MoreDelicious Lebanese food. Some of the best falafel Ive ever had! Baba Ghanouj is so creamy, the garlic sauce has the perfect amount of garlic and is great with falafel or just spread on pita bread.
MoreMy favorite restaurant!! You even mention Beirut Restaurant and my mouth starts watering!! Family members get jealous of one of us is there without the other!! And if you are, youd better bring home take out for them!!
MoreBeirut was recommended to us by a Lebanese friend. We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. We ordered the Royal Mezza this time. The Royal Mezza and the Mezza are both a little spendy, as we say, but its a LOT of food. I highly recommend Beirut. We ordered carry out many times over the course of the lockdown and the quality of food never changed.
MoreFirst time there great experience waitress was awesome constantly on the move. Interesting food worth the try at least once to find out if you like it. Baked cauliflower was my favorite.
MorePost pandemic open for dining. Lots of space and seating. Fast accurate friendly service. Big menu but easy to navigate and lots of great choices. Easy recommendation check them out soon
MoreProbably one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had, amazing food (first time at a Lebanese restaurant), and great environment. Can’t wait to go back!!
MoreThe food was great, and the takeout process was quick and easy! If any Persians are looking for a place to get kabobs outside of MPLS totally recommend. The rice was also different from the traditional jasmine so it was nice having a different flavor. I had the chicken and Ground beef kabobs and both were perfectly cooked and very flavorful, the pitta bread was fresh, and loved the garlic butter sauce as well (definitely something new)!
MoreMy parents always talked about this restaurant when I was growing up. My father is Lebanese & has always loved it. Ive been here many many times. Since the pandemic started my boyfriend & I just order take out but the food is still consistently amazing with generous portions. I get the Byblos every time. Their rice is perfect, chicken kabobs are always cooked to perfection. This is the only restaurant that does cabbage rolls & grape leaves correctly in my opinion. And I also always get tabouli as well! I will always eat here, my kids will eat here & hopefully they’re still around so my kids kids can eat here as well. Ignore the bad reviews and support a quality restaurant that has been around forever for a reason. People need to remember they’re paying for quality food, if it’s out of your price range go to McDonald’s instead of leaving a bad review.
MoreI’ve come here numerous occasions for a variety of different dishes. I’ve dined in and had take out. Never have I had a bad experience. The service is always incredible and the food is something you will end up craving. There are nights it gets very busy, so make a reservation to ensure a seat if you plan to dine in. The steak kabobs and rice is an order you cannot go wrong with trying. If you’re in the West Saint Paul area, and are looking for something different, this is definitely worth your time. Plus, the backstory on how the restaurant came to be is interesting as well. A great family owned busy who I wish much success to in the future.
MoreEnjoyed a wonder dinner with my wife and friends. The service was quick and the food was outstanding. I would highly recommend the American dinner. Our server, Bella, was polite and was there when we needed her.
MoreDinner was alright but Ive definitely had better. We did tabbouleh salad and the steak shawarma entree. I wasnt impressed with the rice or salad. The steak shawarma part was okay. We probably wont eat here again.
MoreWe had the villager platter, the cedars and the shawarma. The garlic sauce, the rice, the perfectly seasoned meat, the baklava ice cream and Shaibiyet, everything was absolutely delicious and authentic. 100% recommend.
MoreWe are vegan and had some decent choices here. Ordered the falafel plate with fries. Large servings. Falfels were good, fries were obviously frozen cooked - not impressive at all. Cauliflower appetizer was okay - tasty, but kind of soggy by the time I got this pick-up order home. Our first time ordering from them. Well try it again, but we werent blown away.
MoreMy first time ordering takeout last week. Under my chicken kabobs was a light brown hair! Once we seen that we tossed all our food because we were so grossed out!! For that reason I had to give it a one star. it smelled really good but Hair in my food is a NO!
MoreWe had an amazing meal at Beirut! We started with the labneh appetizer, and added mint leaves at the suggestion of the server. It was surprisingly delicious. The kids loved the kebabs, and the shawarma sandwich was generous and flavorful. Even the rice pilaf and tabbouleh were top notch. We ended the meal with the baklava ice cream and shared it among all four of us... so, so good. Great service, clean, pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend!
MoreHad a craving for garlic sauce and flatbread tonight. Literally just swung in to grab that. But its been awhile since Ive eaten here so I figured I might as well get a drink at the bar and take out for dinner. Was not Disappointed! Sangria was delicious and the food was amazing when I got home. The host/bartender was super friendly and chatted with me while I waited. I absolutely love this place and cant wait to get back to order the Mezza platter!
MoreAte here for the first time and came away very impressed. Had the Chicken kabobs which were tender and seasoned just right. Son had the ground beef and lamb kabobs and loved them. The rice is fantastic and the sides are excellent. The staff was friendly and accommodating and took time to explain the different dishes. We will definitely be making return visits.
MoreWe love this 2nd generation locally owned establishment. Our favorite is the Mezza dinner for two for $60-carnivore or $50 for the vegetarian...the meat eaters is a wonderful sampling of at least 10 appetizers and four kabobs of your choice served with rice pilaf and fresh pita bread...my personal favorite is the roasted cauliflower dish. The garlic sauce really shines when eaten with the lamb kabobs. We can never finish the whole thing, so we have plenty of left overs for lunch the following day...Great service and super kind waitstaff. They have recently remodeled to a calm and peaceful atmosphere where the wine selection, full bar and TV take center stage...the old decor was charming. The delicious food remains. We will be back and often. A west side favorite for sure.
MoreWow. We had a couple of recommendations to come here for some amazing food and we were not disappointed! The restaurant is in a very unassuming building but dont let the exterior fool you. The quality of the food inside is top notch! I had a combo plate with a chicken kabob, gyro, falafel, and rice and everything was perfectly cooked and packed full of Lebanese flavor. Even better, there was sooo much food, I took home lunch for tomorrow!! I really cant say enough about this place. Dont let the exterior fool you, this is definitely a place you want to try!!
MoreOur dinners were delicious!! Falafel appetizer was perfect; loved my lamb kabobs, and the tabouleh was marvelous as always. Of course, the garlic sauce was ohhh yeahhh! The mangomosa was a great take on the mimosa. :)
MoreThe best food ever! We used to live in W. St. Paul and ate there frequently. We have the takeout whenever we are in The Cities. Now we are willing to make an hour drive to have the Mezza. Out of this world! My mouth is watering just thinking of the food. We talk about it often and almost swoon. The service is wonderful - cant remember the waitresss name, but we had her serve us often and she was awesome! Cant wait to go back.
MoreSuper super delicious food. This is a great place if you want to try something new. Super amazing and I really recommend you try it sometime.
MoreFirst time there and it was absolutely fabulous. We had the meal for 2 that has 10 appetizers and kabobs and every single thing was overwhelmingly delicious.
MoreTop 3 things:1. Rice Pilaf - Im not sure what they put in this but its out of this world delicious2. Gyro Platter - simply amazing - get it (and share it)3. Really good baklava and, in my case, I usually eat too much and get it to take homeThings I wish I knew ahead of time:1. Want to ease yourself into this cuisine? try the Ameer - gyro, chicken kabobs and falafel with rice pilaf - excellent2. There is belly dancing on Saturday nights
MoreThis was a great place!! All the food was so good. I would definitely suggest getting the Mezza because you get 10 appetizers along with 2 kabobs with meat of your choice and rice pilaf. The Mezza gives you a very good sample. I cant say I was a fan of all 10 appetizers, but by having others sharing the Mezza there was something for everyone. That, of course, is just my personal preference. All of the appetizers are served in individual dishes so the table really gets loaded with food.
MoreBeirut has a small menu at a decent price. Service was good, my party didnt need much. Id recommend getting the lunch deal for two, it lets you try a lot of the menu for $30.
MoreLittle place and the food is consistently top notch. Service is always friendly & helpful. Ive been going about once a month for years. The only thing that has ever been a disappointment is that they occasionally make small tweaks to the menu and change something I had my heart set on. Ill also go there when I just want a little treat just to have to Turkish coffee & baklava ice cream. It looks so amazing when it comes out that just tables that were leaving sometimes stay for dessert after all.
MoreSmall, cozy, candlelit, no one on stage at early dinner. Beef kabobs too tough for the butter knife provided, no flavoring or spices on meat or veggies. Nice light pilaf, pita bread too tough to eat; served in a plastic baggy. Interesting homemade Lebanese dessert.
MoreWow! Amazing food, chicken kabobs are so tender but so will your arse be when the bill comes.Take out of two orders of chicken kabobs, two side salads, side of falafel, bread and garlic sauce... wait for it... $67.40. That’s not a typo, $67.40 for everything you see in the photo.Checked the menu online when I got home, two dinners with all this (maybe not three kabobs eachis $14.95 each.I’d say go, but not for take out and keep an eye on your wallet.
MoreAmazing food, a little spendy but worth it. Always pretty quiet in there, they serve wine and beer. Hidden treasure of West St. Paul. I ordered the Ameer. Would highly recommend
MoreFantastic flavor and a meal that leaves you full, but satisfied.
As far as Lebanese food go, nothing comes close to those served by Beiruit. In Twin Cities metro area that is. If youre dining alone, order the Byblos which youll get a taste of 6 menu items without breaking the bank. Mezza is a great deal but its for a minimum of 2 people. Everything they offer is exceptional in taste and consistency. The service is prompt and friendly. My absolute favor is the garlic sauce. Slap that on anything and magically make it taste even better. Dont leave without having a bite or 2 of that crispy but delicate Baklava soaked in Rose water.
MoreWaitress Maria was wonderful. Her recommendation was definitely the right thing to order. Atmosphere was relaxing. Priced right. Going again real soon.
MoreAmazing food, will definitely come back. Great to try something new.Went back... Everything has such wonderful flavors. Ate until it hurt.
