Beer Temple in Amsterdam

Went here as part of the morebeer.nl crawl! Great little pub with awesome beer selection! Everyone should do the morebeer.nl while in Amsterdam!

Great American beer bar. But also some solid local beers. Extremely friendly staff and patrons! 10/10 recommend.

A huge and interesting range of American beers on draught. The Irish barmaid was really friendly and knowledgeable and led me to some great beers.

Good beer list. I had Bruery USA grey minder 19.0°. Hot deep fried chicken bun was excellent. Recommended

Its great if you like ales. If youre not riding the latest wave of beers which are popular at the moment, youre out of luck.

Really is a beer temple. Especially if you’re into American craft brews. A lot of tap options. 30-40 or something. Solid breweries. Not all are from the US but at least predominantly US style. Can be a good diversification from the Belgian/Dutch beers that you mostly find in Amsterdam. The bar is dark and a bit dingy, with rock music playing. So excellent. Did not try the food.

Grrrreat selection of craft beers. Almost too much choice :-(is that possible?!creative beers, nice snacks, knowledgeable staff. Tried their Trappist cheese today, really lovely and creamy. And every beer Ive had so far has been spot on

Couple of hours to spend in Amsterdam and lucky we managed to find the Beer Temple.Said to have more than 300 different beers. Part of their menu is easy to find on app "Untapped".Few choices for food as well. We tried some of their cheese.Stunning bar for craft beers!

A place to worship beer! Not all world, but a good selection from 2 great Dutch breweries, and loads of US beers on tap, plus plenty cans/bottles should keep any Craft Beer fan happy. Great music tastes too!

This place is unique in the Centre area. It is known for having a wide choice for American beers. The atmosphere has a rustic feel to it similar like a brown café. This place can hold roughly 65 people (Thanks for correcting, Peter!), despite looking quite small inside.Ill definitely come back here often just to try out their canned American beers!

Speechless... I am so happy to see such a place in Amsterdam where you get to taste Rons of beers on tap 😋 , they have a huge collection by bottles coming from US and they have their own local IPA.Superb place to be and I am going to make it on my map a must come when I am in Amsterdam 🤩

Amazing place, great selection of beers at reasonable prices. Ive had stout and ot was one of the best stouts in Amsterdam. Highly recommended - we would have stayed longer if not for late hour. Go see for yourself!

Cool bar, lots of ale choices the rest of the group were happy with and as a non beer person, I had an amazing flat cloudy cider which was fab. The guy behind the bar was great, very knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations!

Great selection of beers - almost all of them will be American or Canadian but thats no issue for me. Decent selection of IPAs on draft, although be warned many are of the much stronger variety. I didnt get any bottles but they do have a huge selection. Seating is a little limited but no more so than anywhere else in the area.Main complaint is they pour beers with a ridiculous amount of head. Its not Beer Temple specifically, its a continental Europe thing. Pay for a full beer and youll walk away with it about 2/3s full. Every place in Amsterdam does this. Honestly I expected better beer pouring from a place based around American beers but its not a huge deal as everywhere in Amsterdam pours them incorrectly.

Really cozy place. You can play board games and have fun with friends.They accept both visa and maestro.The bathroom is upstairs. Pretty central and well connected. I don’t drink alcohol and got a coke.

No frills locale for amazing selection of beer. Skews towards American selections but has great local offerings too. The staff was tremendously kind and generous with their time.

An amazing homage to craft beers. Great service and recommendations from the bar staff. Those guys really know their beer. The snack foods are also quite good.

I love this place they have a great variety on tap and even more in a can. The draft prices are pretty good but they can get up to 14 euros for a can beer depending on where its from I’m guessing. The staff is nice and it’s small and cozy. Definitely will be back.

A great place for craft beer. They have many many styles on tab and even more bottled or canned. The Bartenders are super friendly as well. Oh and almost forgot, the toilets are also fun ;-)

Huge selection of beers and all are reasonably priced! Service here was very polite and the decor gives the interior a really nice vibe. The music was also great (generally classic rock). Highly recommend checking this place out (the Winter Warmer would be one of my favourites).

Very generous amount of draft and bottled craft beers available, both dutch and international. Loved that they have a good amount of sours on tap aswell. We didnt have any food here but the assortment of snacks on the menu looked good (no lunch/dinner). Its situated close to the central trainstation. Only thing I could mention to improve is that some parts of the interior could use a little update. Would go here again for sure!

Great selection of beers, surprisingly spacious, cheese and sausage snacks and clean toilets. Bartender was very helpful in helping choose beer choices. House beer was tremendous - 8% - BigFat5 - glad someone told me to leave 😂😂

Great selection of IPAs, friendly and helpful bartender, fun music, relaxing ambiance. Haven’t been back home to the US in a while, and this place felt like a very well-brewed (pun intendedpiece of home :)

Led Zeppelins dazed and confused were playing while we first entered the place. We really love the music, atmosphere and beers here. Do I recommend? Of course to all rock & roll and beer lovers.

So this place is perfect if you want to get back to the American style beers and feel like home as a tourist. For locals that want to taste ipas that you normally dont find this is a nice spot and cozy seating. Super chill bartenders that are on top of their game and quick to serve. Nice little spot

It is what the name says. They really do have a more than decent selection of US beers. When I was there they even had KBS on tap. Place is a bit small but has charm.

Amazing beer bar in Amsterdam. Multiple rare (even in the statesbeers like KBS, imperial doughnut break and some Cascade. Reasonable prices, great service, friendly atmosphere and insane beer selection. Great place to stop off and have a few beers.

Awesome bar for craft beers! This place specializes in American craft beers though. They do have some European and Dutch beers in bottles, but bartenders here will recommend their sister bar, Arendsnest, if your focus is Dutch beer. Staff is super cool with lots of beer knowledge.

If you want an American brew in Amsterdam, this is your place. Atmosphere is fun, lots of options in draft and bottle, nice staff. We went for the 4th of July and they had a cookout. Prices steep, but youre paying the import premium here.
