Very friendly staff and good quality food. We like it

Not a place I will be rushing to to have a meal at again. The food is very average. On a plus side, the staff were friendly and polite.

Slow service and average food. A well cooked beef and pink beef were exactly the same for Sunday roast.

Stayed in the premier inn for work. Ordered chicken wings and a sirloin steak for dinner. Waited one hour for my starter to come. And another hour for my main. Just un acceptable service. Also waited 25 minutes for another drink.

We come here often while visiting family in the area, staff are always friendly and efficient and the food is good.

Food was ok but expected better cold chips all round for our table of 4, disappointing choice of menu and desserts not that great too sickly doubt I would go back her again for a lunch time meal or any type of meal

The more I go out and about the more i realise how brilliant and excellent value this place is!Fed up of being ripped off restauraunts trying to be over clever with Food Art, but actually giving me alot less food for alot more money!Beefeter is great quality, great value, and great service. Everything i ever wanted!

Sunday Roast was nice and hot cooked well, would definitely recommend for a Sunday lunch

Love these adjoined to the Premier Inn hotels. Meal deals are spot on, with a burger stack being delicious and served hot. Breakfast wasnt hot but think it was due to timing & the food being in the hotplates too long.Otherwise, a good place to eat and relax and staff more than helpful and friendly.

The worst service ever. Your staff need training especially the male tall guy I was appalled at his behaviour and his ability to provide good customer service yesterday.. you need to be aware we are paying customers and were very upset when we all left yesterday night.

Attentive and friendly staff make this a great place for family dining. Lots of space for a pram and highchair. Food arrived quickly, generous portions and lots of choice. Our daughter really took to our server, Mel, so thank you to her and the rest of the staff for making her so happy too!

Grumpy service, food cold due to Aircon that they would not turn off, glad to get ouy, never use a beefeater again. Overpriced trash

An awesome experience!This was a one of those great occasions when everything was in harmony in the hospitality industry and it would be unfair to all those staff involved not to share the experience. Great food and great service in a clean and well run restaurant.We were served by Will and Cathy who were both highly professional and genuinely friendly and it made our meal so much better. Of course, the purests would argue that this was just burgers and ribs but when any meal is full of flavour, served hot and promptly and genuine value for money, it fulfills all the requirements, and more, of eating out.This was a great dinner in a well managed restaurant and clean plates and smiles all round at the end summarised our meal tonight. All I can add is that Beefeater would do well to use restaurant as a training centre rather than a eating house...:)

Good food and friendly staff. The restaurant does appear to be chronically understaffed with one waitress serving most of the restaurant. This of course impacts the speed of receiving your food!

Nice restaurant in a good location. Good value for a well presented and tasty meal st a fair price.

The lady waitress very harsh and rude, she refused to accept the welcome voucher we have received from Beefeater company and have to pay in full for no reason at all. The food is Ok apart from some side dishes were very oily and smelly. Overall we did not enjoy the experience this time, use to be much better before. Why the company provide customers with vouchers if staff refuse to even see them. I hope someone can read this review and reply to our concerns....

They do an affordable lunchtime deal Monday to Friday, 12pm to 5pm, 2 COURSES 9.45 | 3 COURSES 11.45.Prices have definitely gone up on the main menu but tbh the food seems worth it for the price and its no different than any other menu these days. Service is always good. Seating areas are okay.

Food excellent, bar expensive, and service very slow due to lack of staffing. However the staff are around, are very helpful and polite.

The food and service were great. 👍👍My daughter and her partner joined me for an evening meal. Throughly enjoyed our meals and staff efficiently and politeness . Lovely restaurant. 👍👍👍. Recomend 👍.

Food cooked well, plenty to choose from,All kinds of cereals, breads to bagels and pancakes, fresh fruits aswel as the good old fry up/cooked breakfast, large selection to choose from.All buffet and eat as much as you can.Go up time and time again.Fresh fruit, coffees and teas all part of the unlimited breakfast deal.They do like to leave as soon to 1030am as possible (when breakfast has finished so dont delay else they will have you on your way.

I have been here a couple of times and as i ask the staff about their names i can tell you that Will whos name Im probably not spelling right is always so amazing, talkative and welcoming this evening though he was off but Kathy with her amazing vibe and attitude looked after the people who was dining at the bar area. Rebekah not sure about the spelling again is so hands on, running around, informing guests about different things. She is superfast! I want to say thank you so much for everything you do.You are awesome!! Did i not mention the food??? Go for ribs!! DELICIOUS!! Well done chefs!! Keep up the good work and be proud!

45 minutes to wait for drinks to come after ordering, and 30 minutes for dessert! Service was not good on 2/7. Thankfully, never have to come again. Food was ok when it eventually came, but not good enough to be worth the wait.

Food horrible chicken was like rubber coated in sauce.Service was terrible didnt even check back after food was served.Unable to talk to the manager as apparently they were in meetingMade complaint to headoffice nothing done.

Had a decent meal, I had the lasagna my wife had the salmon salad, both pretty good, not great but decent value. Doom Bar the only ale on and that was ok. Good, friendly service.

Went tonight for fathers day meal.. been here few times over the years and tonight was the worst, we wont go back.Very disappointed understand perfectly that they were very busy, but fathers day.. my daughter treated her dad..we waited ages for our food....service was poor but staff very helpful and polite...our food was given to the table next to us, taken away and then brought back out a few minutes later.The toilets werent clean.

Food was fine (evening mealand also plentiful at breakfast despite being very busy. Staff too were all really good BUT the thing reason for the 3 star review is entirely down to the shabby state of the toilets. Seats cracked and generally dirty feeling. The carpets were also stained badly.

One of the worst food I have tried in a pub in Welwyn… cocktails were equally bad. Never again

Good food, helpful staff. Veggie roasts were tasty but very small. I prefer the Nachos at the Harvester. Portions in general ara a lot smaller than Harvester but as I said very tasty.

It was ok. We were seated and sat there for 15 minutes not knowing whether it was table service or order at the bar, I wanted to just go elsewhere as it felt unwelcoming. When the waiter did take our order, it felt like we were an inconvenience and as though he didn’t want our custom. Menu wasn’t great and there’s not a lot of veggie/vegan options (I love meat, but I can’t eat it currently, due to medical diet reasons). Quite bland dishes, very over priced for what you get. Not sure if we will return as service was slow, even though there was virtually no customers there and the food wasn’t worth what we paid.

Does this place ever have a full menu?Staff are friendly enough but literally never have a full menu.They should also not sit people next to the entrance to the hotel.... pretty annoying trying to eat with people constantly coming in and out.What is that damp dog smell.....?Will this place ever improve???1/10

Its a 50/50 kind of place. Some service was amazing, some was beyond dire. The food was nice, neither spectacular or awful. Would I go back? If theres no good options available I would.

Went for breakfast at 845a on Sunday only to be told they are not taking anymore walk-ins!! The only way to get breakfast would be to reserve a table. It doesnt say that you need reserve a table! The first available would be 12.00 breakfast finishes at 1100!!! Very disappointed. Have eaten there numerous times but doubt very much I will return.

We have been coming here for 5 years. Sadly the place is starting to feel run down. Our food tonight was quite good but it has been very hit and miss over the last two years.Please clean up the outside seating area and make it look more attractive. Some plants would help, treat the tables with some varnish or whatever.Patrons are desperate for lovely outside eating areas so you are missing a trick by not smartening the whole place up. Thanks.

Met up with some work colleagues for a meal. The menu looked extensive with enough choices for everyone however there were several items not available to order. The service was good & the food was tasty & served piping hot & the price was reasonable for all 6 of us. I would come here again.

We eat here quite regularly and can say the food and service has improved so much. Mel & John are fantastic. Always on point and so polite and helpful.The food is much better. The roast dinners are lush!

I have to say this beefeater is the best Ive ever been to.Service is great, starters were out promptly, of good quality, really delicious and well presented. so well done to the kitchen team for a doing such tremendously great job under the pressure they were given it was bank holiday Monday. Mains were brilliant and desert was excellent. special thankyou to Rebecca who was amazing. I have worked in hospitality for over 23 years and never come across such a lovely manager. Well done guys see you soon.

We had gone there for lunch & chose their lunchtime menu. My wife had Lasagna which came with garlic bread & I had the gammon. We also ordered a side of onion rings. The garlic bread was served with the base totally burnt. This was brought to the attention if the waiter who arranged a replacement. When that came the base was partially burnt but most of the bread as edible. We did not make a further complaint because my wife was getting close to finishing her meal. The onion rings were very much overdone. I knew I should have complained at the time & had them changed but this would also have interrupted our meal. I did complain after especially when we were over charged for them. The triple cooked chips were not cooked enough either. Then there was the issue of only having one person taking orders and serving albeit there was occasional help from one other person. I have to say this is the first time I have experienced this poor quality & lack of staff. I really hope I do not get similar issues again. I will visit again because Im hoping this is a one off.

Superb, I’ve been going to this Beefeater for over 20 years now. Two of the staff have been there for the same length of time and they are still as pleasant and friendly as the first time I walked in as a student! Great location, good parking and reliable food.

Yesterday12 30 arrived without booking table it wasnt busy.Toilets dirty.No toilet roll in three if cubicles most of it on floor.Had to wait over an hour for our meal.,even with toddler with us.Finally got our food which was lovely.Then ask three time for bill and card machine.

The staff were lovely as was the food but the restaurant was a bit grubby, the toilets smelt of urine which really is disappointing. Otherwise lovely! Had a fabulous roast dinner and would come back again

Ive been coming to this restaurant for over ten years and have seen lots of changes to their menu over this period. All for the worst, Im sorry to say. Waiters are friendly and service has always been good but prices have shot up and the quality of the menu is not up to the increase.
