Quiet lunchtime but several menu items unavailable.

Birthday meal with family early last Sunday evening.We all enjoyed the food, nicely cooked, piping hot, well presentedthere was lots of choice. My steak & my partners chops were cooked exactly as we requested Great value for money too. The healthy soft drinks were bottomless which is a great idea.Staff were lovely too. The guy that took care of us was super attentive, cheerful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for himRestaurant nice & clean, lovely atmosphere & plenty room between tables.If I had anything to criticise it would be the plates - plain white, I remember these from school meals & transport cafes. This didnt spoil our evening of course. We will be back & will recommend to others for sure.

Very cosy with the perfect ambience. My partner and I had the Cuddles on the Beach (Mocktailwhich was the perfect choice and taste. We also had the Sunday roast with rump of lamb and enjoyed every bit of it.Would definitely visit again and keep recommending this place to my friends and colleagues ❤️❤️❤️

The place is nice service very good. Food average. Very basic no frill. Got discount vouchers but I still didnt feel value for money.

Food was very good, when we got it. Service was very slow, we were told when we ordered that we would be waiting about 30 minutes for the food. Prices were resonable.

Friendly staff and a good deal of kids eating free however stop doing blue light card at breakfast people with kids would not be able to take this offer and like I said not advertised as they not doing it

OUR FAVOURITE when in town centre. Love the food BeefEater broad street plaaza have day lunch choice menu for money saving tp suit all pockets inclues steak fish burger etc but awesome meals mon to Fri up to 5pm. Also have other main meals menu available all day and night, so good you wont believe it, give it a try the staff are friendly go extra mile to please. Nice clean place to chill with good bar stocks as well as cold drinks desserts.. Starter menu very good choice too also Wheat gluten Free options. Very good variety food you will love ❤️ Menu changes with the seasons so it definitely not boring. Has membership card works on points got a lot of free meals and drinks. Part of Premier Inn.

Worst experience ever. Ribs overcooked chicken under cooked. Manager rude. Poor staff running round while manager stood around. Tables filthy, couldnt have a cocktail because no glasses washed. Offered 25% discount off next meal. Refused them and never return again. Disgusting from such a well known branded restaurant.

Not a good experience the lady who served us was lovely shame the food wasnt the breaded mushrooms were full of water and tasteless the burger was a bit better the only good thing was the chips.l only had these because my first two choices they didnt have

Went for the all you can eat breakfast, it was superb, definitely go again, and the waitress was so nice. 5 star

One of the best steaks Ive ever had, arrived just as they were about to turn grills off and they still served us. Massive thankyou for the great meal and great service.

Lovely food. Only quiet for a Saturday evening so service was quick. Ideal for a meal before the theatre.

The food was excellent and the young girl who looked after me and my wife was very good even though she had only been there a few days couldnt falt it and will definitely be back and recommend it

Cannot fault this place! Me and my partner came tonight for a little celebratory meal and it was lovely! The steak was cooked to perfection, the waiting staff were really friendly and it was a relaxing atmosphere. We will be back!

The waiter was rude , we were still eating and he put the bill on the table , clearing up at the side of us , he made the experience feel rushed. We should of gone to the Weatherspoons , which was great. The smell of frying in the restaurant is overwhelming , they cook your breakfast in the centre of the room .

Had a really good meal here today. Both steaks were cooked beautifully, very good chef. 3 courses which were all great. Will definitely be back

Have you ever been to a restaurant where nothing is REALLY wrong but nothing is really good either? This was our experience tonight. E.G. I ordered a salad wedge of cos lettuce with croutons, bacon and a blue cheese dressing. What came wasnt a wedge , just outside lettuce leaves with non- crispy croutons, and ok bacon bits with a quite tasteless dressing. Another order was jumbo king prawns which were only lukewarm. The glass of wine wasnt cold, and the cokes we ordered came with ice twice even though we had asked for no ice.However, the steak was very good as were the lamb chops.Overall, disappointing, but not bad enough to send back. When our server asked how our meal was, I told him it was underwhelming and he said that it may have been because theyd had a couple of large parties in. That isnt my problem as a customer.We may give the Beefeater another chance, but not for a while at least

So, saw on line you could get 40% off mains, downloaded the voucher and booked a table.Arrived at our allotted time only to be told we would have to wait 45 minutes at least before we could eat, because they had a 21st birthday party to deal withI said but we have booked a table and were due at the pictures after. No difference, it was wait 45 minutes so we told them to forget it and walked out.We were really disappointed, we had been looking forward to a nice meal before our film, ended up taking our business elsewhere.Never again Beefeater, wont be recommending you to anyone we know!!

Pretty expensive for what it is. Booth was acky when we landed and had to brush crumbs at detritus from a previous diner away before we sat down.B dawg (hotdog to youwas pretty tasty in fairness and the waiter was friendly and accommodating.Would go back, but not in a hurry.

Nice restaurant in the centre town of Halifax, surrounded by other activities an hotel, good place to eat with very kind and fast service. Food quality is good and plenty of choice and italian draft beer included...the restaurant is located inside the Premier Inn hotel building, and makes rooms service and also provide breakfast for all hotel guests. Recommended!

The service was very good, tables clean and tidy. The food is not too bad in comparison to the price. Thought it slightly pricey. Seemingly paid at least £15 for two pints and a large coke being that both two meals I got came to £26 and the bill was £42. Ah well, never mind.

Ok steak, ok drinks. I expected a cocktail to include watermelon and cucumber slices in it and at the very least, ice, I had to ask for what it supposedly comes with in the menu. A little pricey for what you get. Not bad but not good either.

The vegetable grill combo is stunning and is much bigger than I expected! Staff are lovely and friendly too.

Really lovely food, went for the sirloin steak and it was cooked perfectly. Matts service wasnt great - quite slow and seemed reluctant to let us use our free meal voucher - once it did go through he made sure to let us know it was on the cheapest meal. Other staff have been nicer and more accommodating, and the food is still good value with/without the vouchers so I guess I cant have too many complaints.

I have only given a one star rating as it is impossible to give a zero star rating! My partner booked table for 10.15am. We arrived there to be told only continental breakfast available as chef clears hot food away at 10.15 despite table bookings until 10.30. I am diabetic and need food not just bread and cereals. Annoying thing is we had foregone breakfast at hotel as it looked so nice on website at beefeater

This Beefeater is on the plaza and always has a Great menu.Staff are always Friendly and very helpful.Always a Great choice for me.

I’ve not been in so long since moving away but amazing! The service is still just as good! We were served by a man with a lip ring, a woman and a man with glasses (apologies I didn’t get any of their namesand they were all SUPER kind and amazing! And the food was also amazing!

Do not go if dining with children!I dont like leaving a bad review but unfortunately I need to save someone else from this awful food!Firstly Id just like to say the service was spot on and it was clean and the adults food was okish but the childrens was really poor. It was dry and obviously just reheated to molten lava temperature and chucked on a plate. I was genuinely embarrassed that I suggested the place. Save your money and visit anywhere else for a better meal. We had to call at McDonalds before home :/

I cannot recommend the Halifax Beefeater highly enough! The food is always good, the restaurant is clean and the staff are outstanding. Breakfast in particular is the best anywhere. The manager/s and serving staff are some of the friendliest, most helpful and hard working people Ive come across. We are always made to feel like valued customers and its really nice to see the same staff members on our return visits.My daughter visited recently with her friends to celebrate her 14th birthday. They were so well looked after and they had an excellent time. Im really grateful for the wonderful service we always receive. Thank you!

Nice,modern, clean restaurant. Had evening meal and dessert then breakfast next morning .Staff friendly ,food well cooked. Meals were on a package deal due to staying in Premiere Inn.Next door to hotel and car park and short stroll into town, piece hall ect.Would go again.

We went for breakfast here for the 1st time this morning. lovely, friendly attentive staff, couldnt do enough for you.Food was lovely too, plenty of choice and we didnt know at the time but kids up to 16 ate free with paying adults. Will definitley go again.

Lovely meal and great service, unfortunately dont know the young mans name, but staff were really tentative towards the fact we were on a limited time, and food was brought out very quickly.

One of my favourite places to eat and we are regular customers now! The steaks are always perfectly cooked and tasty and they have the best Mac and cheese on the side. The staff are always lovey too!

Been several times and served by Samantha. She always greets us with a warm welcome and makes sure we are looked after. Very friendly and chatty. Food is great quality and very fair priced x

First time visiting a beefeater restaurant and i wasnt expecting the food to be the best.......... I admit i was totally wrong. The food was fantastic... the best T-Bone steak i have had in years and it was cooked to perfection. My wife had prawns and the little boy had a burger and they both really enjoyed them. Brilliant service by our waiter Steve who was accommodating and very polite. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

Lovely modern interior, friendly and helpful staff, sensible and well implemented hygiene measures, and really tasty food at a good price. Really pleasant lunch, recommended.

Whenever I meet a friend for lunch or go out for an evening meal we always come here, love the place! Never been disappointed with the food and the staff are always welcoming and very pleasant. Today was no exception. We came for lunch and the guy who greeted us, served us (Steven I think was his name,apologies if notwas just lovely, he couldnt do enough for us without being too intrusive, always topping our drinks up when they were low. Just a joy to come here when the staff are that wonderful:Cant recommend enough 10/10

Staff were lovely and welcoming on arrival and accommodating throughout honestly couldnt do more for you. For starters I tried the surf and turf skewer which wasnt really for me to be honest, if I came here again Id just skip to mains instead of having a starter. I had the Truffle Beef Burger, great quality meat and thick patty. It was nice that when I asked the waitress how strong the mayo was she actually knew which is always a great sign haha and she was right it wasnt too strong at all. Dessert was also great. Overall a great casual place to go to if looking for a high street sort of place.

Really friendly staff and got the covid measures in place food was pretty good I knocked a star off as it took an age for the food to arrive which in the end was explained that only one chef was in the kitchen which kinda made sense but there was only 3 tables being served.

First time visiting Halifax and this Beefeater. The King Wagyu burger was juicy and tasty, as was the calimari starter. Bathtub Gin and Mojito were lovely, perfect accompaniment. Service was friendly and polite with good humour. Very nice place!
