Waited ages for food to come but was really nice ..staff helpful and friendly ..clean tidy

The staff are always very welcoming and easy to speak with. Ive always had a pleasant experience. This particular Beefeater is by far the best locally in my opinion.

Great breakfast options from very good staff. They looked after us well for a week, even including the mob that descended on a Saturday night!

Had the roast beef with a stuffing portion approximately the size of a postage stamp. It was cold. The portion of cauliflower cheese was very saucy but with very little veg. It was all just a bit disappointing.We had a voucher for half price - perhaps that influenced the portions? I dont think Im likely to return.Service was excellent - staff members who we interacted with were attentive and helpful. Venue was clean, tidy and modern. The food was disappointing. We ordered a variety of desserts but I had crumble and looked forward to the hot appley goodness and was just left disappointed

Went to beefeater tonight and honestly has to be one of the most disappointing experience I have had there after visiting on a number of occasions. We went in sat down and the guy that showed us to our table asked us if we wanted drinks straightaway. After about 18 minutes the lady managing our seating area finally noticed us and asked if we would like anything to drink which our response was no thank you your colleague already asked. We sat there about 15 mins more and still she did not come back to ask us what we wanted to have so she came by the tills next to our table so I asked her if when she was finished if she could take our order which she did, the food took a long time and no one even bothered to ask how the food was which was disappointing as the fries were uncooked and tasted a bit oily but we still did not complain. After arriving at 7.05pm at around 9ish we finally had desserts, I believe the waitress name was Lola but she asked how was our desserts and then ignored us for the rest of time even though there was not many people still left at the restaurant at this point, we packed our stuff left the table then said should we just leave or would you like us to actually pay. She got very defensive telling me how busy there are which there were for a Thursday when we got there however if they didn’t have enough staff why let us in? She said it’s not her problem and should speak to the manager because They are busy! She was clearly more interested to get the place cleared for the next day than keeping the customers there at the time happy. The service was extremely poor and wouldn’t recommend it, even on pervious visits it’s always been slow but at least they would have nicer staff to counteract the experience. Lola is not fit to work with customers and walked off even before I could finish having a conversation therefore if I could rate this a 0 star I would have done so with ease. Spending over 2hrs and 30mins just to have some chicken with chips and some veggies is appalling, yes we had a starter and a dessert but clearly they didn’t spend a lot of time make this or the ice creams for dessert

Stayed in the Premier Inn next door and used the Beefater for 4 evening meals each one was excellent. Staff are very helpful one of the best Beefeaters Ive been too. Portion sizes are brilliant and food is cooked just to perfection couldnt fault my experience in anyway.

The double crunch chicken was burnt and over cooked...the waitress cleared our plates and went straight to the manager about the meal.. He did knock price of my meal off our bill, but unfortunately this has totally put me off eating there again...my husband and myself will not be returning

Absolutely disappointed with the whole experience, asked for large plate of Nachos to share at the cost of £6.99, what turned up was what looked like a small packet of doritoes with a bit of cheese and sour cream, my order was nacho with no spring onion, they took upon themselves to withhold guacamole, it was that poor I sent it back for a full refund. Had to wait 45 minutes for a bowl of chips?? . At the beginning of our time here I reported the ladies had no toilet paper, 2 hours later still no paper, reported again, waited another half hour, assuming they had replaced toilet to find, after I used the toilet, still no paper, reported again. Appalling!!! I feel they need a strong leader as the manager took the complaints personally when he should have used the information constructively corrected the issues raised. I do not recommend you waste your money and time. Poor poor show

Good atmosphere and location. Always busy because of popularity. Service is always good. Food is usually good.

Had the pleasure of dining out here on the eve of Friday 3rd Dec 6pm. Their were two of us. We both throughly enjoyed our evening. Since Covid times, dining out has been alot more of a privelage, so we were looking forward to our evening out and had maybe somewhat high expectations. We were greeted at the door by a member of the management team who was courteous, polite with a great personable way & sense of humour who showed us to our table, a partioned booth, which was comfortable and secure. Although it was a busy Friday eve it was not too crowded. We had drinks, one of which was a very tasty seasonal cocktail :-We had a few questions about menu offers and choices which another manager Oscar assisted with, extremely courteous and professional, we felt our level of service was in great hands. We had a starter, Prawn and Salmon cocktail, a Christmas dinner & Salmon encroute for main and a Churros Sundae 🍨 for dessert. All things considered on a 70% busy Friday night, Atmosphere, Service and Food quality were all really good, it was a pleasure to visit Beefeater Farnham, Well Done Oscar and All Your Team, Thank You for a lovely pre Christmas festive dining eve out, we will return👍😊🍽🍹☆☆☆ UPDATE ☆☆☆After visiting again on 16/08/22, Although the Manager Oscar has now moved on, We still received great Service and Good - Very Good food, I must especially mention Florin Flo Front of House & Sophie from Kitchen. Especially, Flos honest and no nonsense approach to Service was most welcome and Sophies attention to detail with dessert, photo attached, was Superb, a la carte, standard...both Very Well done keep up the Great Work 👍 ☆☆☆☆☆

Today I turned up an hour before a wedding I was meant to go to due to late travels. David got me sat immediately and served with drinks straight away … Annabel took my food order and she was nothing but lovely! Even took the time to discuss the wedding with me. Furthermore, Sophie who delivered my food was absolutely lovely … made sure I didn’t touch the hot plate and the food came in no time at all after I was concerned about timings! I am blown away by the service and would recommend to anyone! Thank you all. (Food and drinks were delicious)

Recently ate here, Cameron looked after us and he was very attentive, efficient and friendly, food well presented and tasty

Im being generous with the 1 star, otherwise it will not open the review page. Absolutely appalling!!! Fillet steak is supposed to be the tenderest cut of beef, Ive had softer boot soles than that, also half the steak was inedible as it was full of gristle and sinew. The food was barely warm. Earlier our drinks order was taken on arrival, we had to ask for it some 45 minutes later, apparently it went to another table??! Our complaints were heard however and only 1 meal was on the bill; however, I will never pass through those doors again. Dreadful food, awful service!!

Have been to better ones but OK. I was a walk in customer and was lucky to get a table 10.30am as adjacent hotel seemed quite busy and they use the restaurant.

A family favourite. The staff are always really welcoming and friendly. Enjoyed the latest menu and opted for the veggie grill which was extremely filling and a really delicious selection.

Steak under cooked. Triple cooked chips replaced by french fries without comment. Char grilled veg, dont bother!

very poor service. We waited for two courses for over 50 minutes where the restaurant was practically empty. As for the food, I think 3.5 stars max. The only thing I really liked was the bar service was quick and good

Absolutely loved it I had the lamb and very morish couldnt help but had to nibble on the bone. I also had the mushroom starter that was very meaty the only down full was to much oil on the mushroom and would of liked more cheese but over all cant fault it well done guys also missed out of sticky toffee pudding but we did come in late and the service was 11out of ten 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

It was lovely the burger I had was full of flavour and juicy the staff were very nice and polite would definitely recommend to friends and family

I couldnt sing more praise for this restaurant. The staff are all lovely, the food was great, and they cater to people with allergies, intolerances, and disabilities. A must for an evening out either with friends, family, or even by yourself.

It was super busy, but the staff went out of there way to make sure we had a good visit. Good selection at the buffet and hot food cooked fresh. Excellent value for money.

I have been going to this restaurant for over 2 years purely because Raclica and her team are excellent and I am highly surprised she has not been promoted yet! She always gives outstanding service and nothing is too much trouble. Its a shame Oscar was promoted as he was fabulous but I can say Cameron and Daniel are excellent too! I can tell when she is not there which puts me off going!

Havent been to a Beefeater for years and years... Wow theyve improved. Very good, well worth a visit. Nice ambiance, a good deal of space between tables unlike some places and tons of parking

15 diners for a family get together after a internment of ashes at Aldershot crematorium. Good service from our waiter and superbly cooked and presented food from the kitchen. Only downside was at the time of booking we were unaware of the parking limit for diners of 3 hours. After pre dining drinks and our 3 course meals followed by coffees, we overstayed our 3 hour parking time by 30 minutes. We were assured by the duty manager that this wouldn’t be a problem and not having a facility to pay for excess parking at the time we can only hope that we will not receive an excess parking charge. 4 cars parking and registering our arrival in reception and being clocked out by cctv when leaving.

Really good value if you want a full English breakfast. You can order as much as you like and it is of good quality. You also get as much continental breakfast as you want. At around £9.00 very good value.However at around £7.00 the continental breakfast is underwhelming and over priced. The muffins are very small and overly sweet (I eat many muffins and these were poor). The American-style buttermilk pancakes were scotch pancakes, the toast took ages to brown and the pastries were poor. Stick to a full English

Went a a group including a 5 year old. Staff were brilliant with her, meal, choices and drinks were very good and reasonably priced.Would certainly recommend it and visit again.

We visited the Beefeater in Farnham our server was a lovely man. When we received our steaks mine and another friends were virtually raw. We raised this with our server and without hesitation he took them back then came and asked if we would like fresh steaks,straight away we said no just throw then on the grill. When he brought them back to us he said we had fresh chips,sauce and an fresh egg on my friends . Brilliant customer service and we will be back again

We had both dinner and breakfast here recently while staying at the Premier Inn. As 2 coeliacs it is often difficult to find a decent meal but our visits here went beyond our expectations. The manager was so helpful, showed a good knowledge of coeliac disease and was happy to adjust meals for us while also avoiding cross contamination. The food was delicious, hot and safe for us to eat. The manager was also present for breakfast service and, again, we had a great meal. Would definitely recommend, both for their regular and gluten-free options and well definitely return.

Had a mixed grill breakfast. The food was cooked to perfection! Staff including the chef were super friendly and the building is set next to a canal giving a lovely view as you eat. I plan to eat here again on my next visit.

Eight of us dined for my daughters 20th birthday and we had a great evening. The staff were incredibly attentive, and nothing was too much trouble. The food was really good value too.

This was a really nice place.We attended to celebrate somebodys birthday and it was a highly enjoyable evening. The restaurant was very clean, the food was lovely and the members of staff were friendly.We were greeted warmly and quickly by the members of staff.The menu had some lovely items. I recommend the cannelloni. The portion size was adequate and was nicely presented.The young lady who assisted us was lovely and had a great sense of humour. She appeared to be in her early twenties, had dark hair and I really want to thank her because her attitude helped to contribute to a lovely evening.I recommend this place.

We stayed at the adjoining hotel as we attended a wedding for a couple of days.We had two breakfasts and an evening meal.The staff were very friendly and were very helpful on one morning as 10 of our group had breakfast.The food was all fresh and cooked to order.Nothing was a problem for staff.We would recommend this restaurant.

The food was really good, the staff were very friendly. I couldnt finish my meal as there was too much.One drawback is you must register your car and you only get 3 hours free unless staying at premier. Also if staying at Premier and you have lunch, the signs say you have to register at both Premier and beefeater or you will get a parking ticket.

Remarkably good value if you choose the fixed menu. Drinks predictably overpriced. Pleasant atmosphere although very little in the locality to speak of.If visiting by car, DONT forget to sign yout registration in to avoid unpleasant parking costs...

Breakfast was great, but tried to get a drink in bar Saturday night & manager said he had bookings (only 4 in there at timebrother went in there 1hr later & only 2 people around,he lost out to 10 of us wanting drink. Breakfast staff very nice. Dont expect to get evening drinks though if staying there.

4 1/2 if I could ! Me and my partner had a really good night. It started off a bit disappointing as we waited to be seated for quite sometime. However once we were seated the evening went great, orders takes in great time, food was hot and came all on good time. On top the service was lovely, the manager really looked after us after the slow entrance and really made the evening for us and all was forgiven ! The best beefeater around. Will definitely be going backs food is simple and yummy.

Food is good. Much improved since our last visit 2 years ago.Crispy Chicken wings as starter is lovely but presentation could have some leafy salad with it. Loved the fish and chips and the batter is light and crispy. Hubby also enjoyed his pulled beef ciabata.Will definitely return for another meal.

It was amazing. Even the order took a littlw bit longer, as they are short-staffed, the employee were amazing. Really polite, and, i told them that i am taking my wife out for her birthday and they gave ger a free drink and a birthday card. AMAZING! I would recommend, as I will definitely go back there!

First time eating here and would come here again. Food and service was great and was impressed with the selection on the menu. I recommend booking for Sundays as it can get busy. Food wise, I can recommend the Lamb Roast and the sharer garlic bread for a starter. Great meal overall!

Such a beautiful evening out. Staff were absolutely amazing. The food was delicious. Service was excellent. The atmosphere was lovely also. Will definitely be returning and recommending too. Thank you for a wondering time.
