Beechlawn Hotel Dunmurry - in Lisburn, United Kingdom
Food lovely n very tasty and staff very helpful and lovely.
Always have a great meal here. Steak always cooked to perfection.
The food was absolutely delicious. Extremely tasty, substantial, very well presented. Cant wait to go back and try something different from the menu.
Fantastic many thanks to all the team a wonderful sleep great food and service very friendly cant wait to stay again
We had our wedding on Saturday in the beechlawn hotel, and it was amazing from start to finish, all the staff were so accommodating nothing was too much trouble, the day went so smoothly,Lauren the wedding coordinator is brilliant at what she does she put me at ease when I was nervous,I would highly recommend to book your wedding at this hotel, the.food is delicious and the venue was stunning thank you all so much for making the best day of our lives so special
The food was ok but the chips tasted of fish. I have a severe allergy to fish so didnt eat them. I asked a member of staff if they had been cooked in the same oil as fish and she reluctantly asked in the kitchen. They denied it, but if it wasnt that, there is something far wrong with their oil.
Grand hotel abit of hit and miss especially with breakfast, some rooms are great others have a werid smell like animals or something.Plenty of parking
Overall, this hotel was nice to stay at. Food was cooked well, staff were friendly, and the owner was wonderful. They accommodated my whole family well. Only downfall is that there’s no elevator so you have to walk all your luggage through the restaurant because it’s the only set of stairs to the hotel rooms.
What a lovely venue for lunch. The food is top notch. The staff are lovely. Very polite and very helpful
Food and service were excellent. They offer 2 courses for £19.95 or 3 courses for £24.95. They have a great variety on the menu and good gluten-free options. Highly recommended is the cheesecake. 😋
Beautiful meal we had. Nice friendly atmosphere.
Room was lovely location was great but the staff was not helpful and there is no lift you have to walk through the restaurant to get to rooms overall would not go back
Food beautiful staff amazing especially a young lad called Adam he is an asset to your restaurant hes so helpful and pleasant, a lovely young lad.
Love everything about this place the chicken curry amazingthe staff are so friendly and helpful . Cant wait to stay again
Strictly a drink or eat place. Cant just drink in dining area and cant eat in the pub section. Also no food allowed outside even on a nice day! Not a good idea with high levels of covid around!
Had a lovely Birthday night out with my friends last night ( Saturday). Two course for £19.99. I had prawn cocktail and Turkey & Ham, the food was lovely and portions huge!. Live music after was great! The Girl was an amazing singer. It was lovely to hear live music again. Would definitely recommend the Beechlawn.
Ordered food at seven pm arrived at 8pm 3 adults and two children was told youll like it all the better after the wait asked for an Irish coffee after lukewarm steak dinner was informed that there wasnt anyone capable of making an Irish coffee need to do better admittedly it was quite busy but dont offer the service if staff cant cope its now 9pm and my daughter and sister have just been served desert really need to do better
I stayed for a week and found everything to be ok. The room was small but very tidy as was the bathroom. The hotel has a restaurant which is always busy and a bar which I didnt go into. There is a nice garden out in the back if you fancy some quiet time. If the hotel has a function on then its hard to find a parking space even if youre a resident. All in all its fine but I dont think Ill go back, I just didnt feel very welcome.
Went for meal with my wife 16June 2022.I ordered Turkey and Ham with stuffing and veg. When they brought it out there was very little stuffing.I asked waitress could she bring me some stuffing which she did. While eating my dinner nearly broke my tooth on the parsnip which wasnt cooked. My wife tried to cut it with her knife and fork and couldnt. When bill came there was an additional £3.50 for side salad.I asked waiter what the charge was as I hadnt ordered side salad and was told it was for the stuffing I gad asked for.I asked to speak to manager and he was rude unprofessional arrogant and out of his depth.I refused to pay it.I oaid my bill and on leaving told the manager I would not returned and he shouted after me in reception like a child.Seriously stay away from this hotel there are better establishments close by where service and food us alot better and the managers alot classier.
Been here a few times recently, once for a meal and a few drinks with my other half, then for a post funeral get together with some family and friends. I have mixed thoughts on this venue. The meal I had was pretty good, and reasonably priced. The restaurant staff were very nice, finding us a table when they were actually very busy, and we had not booked. On the other hand, I found the bar staff very cold, especially the girl behind the bar, who was not in the least bit friendly, in fact it seemed to be a chore to serve you. Now I can understand that bar staff can be very busy, and some customers can be a pain. But we were certainly no pain, and the bar was quiet. Courtesy costs nothing, nights out are expensive, so given a choice Ill spend my cash in a friendlier bar and give this one a miss.
Menu hasnt changed in such a long time. No dedicated lunch menu. Was blamed on covid quite a while ago but think that ship has sailed. Was a regular patron but was very dissapointed with menu choices. Staff were very attentive and helpful when requested something different from menu. Hopefully will return when menu has been updated.
No socket beside bed so had to charge phone on socket over at the end of the bed. No lift access to rooms is via a staircase which is located in middle of dining area. Shower in room is just a trickle Ive never yet had a shower in any hotel in my worldwide travel that is like this.
Visit here every once in a while to socialise with friends and family, and the bar staff are great and very welcoming. While I havent had a chance to stay here, I was at a function here which was of top quality, and the location is convenient for people going between Lisburn and Belfast.
Lovely Hotel nestled in the village of Dunmurry Outside Belfast. Food was very good and good portion sizes too. I would however you book your table before you go as its a very busy Hotel but we were lucky enough to get a table when we arrived.
been here for 12 days stay and the best hotel Ive stayed in. the staff are great the rooms are comfortable and breakfast is outstanding totally 100% recommend staying here. if only the hotels were like this in kent would be great
The food in this Hotel was delicious and in fact I ended up getting a container to take some of my meal home the portion sizes were so big
Was there for a 60th birthday dinner . Food was nice service was abit manic. Staff were friendly. Would go back again.
Extremely disappointed.Spoke to Reception that I was there for breakfast.10 a.m.A hotel that serves no snacks or any type of food until 12 o clock again.Told yes go ahead.Stood waiting for quite a while.Asked about Breakfast.Waitress said Breakfast was finished & only scones tea & coffee were being served.Ordered that.Wouldnt reccommed and wont return.
Lovely service+servers. Amazing food greT wee spot. Close 2 few good shops, ar greT.
Good night food 10 out of 10 music great staff very helpful all in all great night out
I would highly recommend the beechlawn Hotel, the staff are very friendly, room was so clean 👌 bed was so comfy and the breakfast was so tasty. I definitely will be back. Such a good vibe
Great food, busy day so waited a bit long on main course, but great food.
Absolutely love this place for food! Lovely helpful staff who are so attentive. The food is first class. Best roast beef dinners around. I highly recommend the Beechlawn Hotel. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Great food, friendly staff and nice surroundings. What more do you want? 🙂
We were here as our Granddaughter was taking part in a Speech and Drama festival. We decided to have a quick lunch while we were waiting, my husband had Vegetable Soup, I had a slice of cheesecake with Ice cream and a cappuccino,.the restaurant was quite busy but the waitress found us a table. Lovely hotel.
Wow! Talk about ruse and abrupt service.Food is good, and the service in previous visits has been top notch.Good banter from the service staff. Must have caught them on a bad day; it seems we were just not wanted in the place.
My handsome and I dine in Beechlawn often and always enjoy whatever we eat. I wasnt happy with my favorite dessert today because the fruit on top was sliced apple 😒
Fantastic 2 course meal for 3 adults & great meal for 1 child. We all had different starters & mains & the food was delicious. Very clean restaurant & toilets. Staff very professional. Would highly recommend
We were a party of 8 celebrating a 16th birthday. The staff were excellent and very attentive to everyone despite being very busy. Nothing was a bother. The food was of excellent quality.. maybe portions a bit on the large size! I have always had a great experience in the Beechlawn and will continue to give my support. In fact we realised that the birthday girls christening party had been there too.. The bill was easy to pay too. Will very back soon
This hotel is definitely 3 plus stars. 15 min outside the city centre. Rooms clean. The restaurant food is recommended. Huge portions! They have their own pub within the hotel and felt comfortable enough to go in for a drink on my own. Breakfast needs a rethink. It does feel in the middle of no where but bus stop right outside, train station to Belfast 3 min walk away and Tesco around the corner (1 min walk). Definitely recommend
Have you ever stayed in a hotel & not been able to fault anything at all ?? Well if the answer is no you MUST visit the Beechlawn Hotel. We have spent 4 fantastic days here & can not recommend a stay here enough. Staff are totally amazing, nothing is too much bother. The food is absolutely delicious, entertainment first class. The wedding we attended here was planned to perfection right down to the final detail. Thank you to you all for the best time. .
Food was nice and staff were very friendly and helpful. Only criticism would be the lack of vegetarian options. Other than that its a great place
Just been for lunch with my wife the service was very good and the food was first class at a reasonable price. Top class.
Friendly efficient service, very clean restaurant. Food quality was acceptable, but the daily roast could do with a bit of TLC, the ham was cold and a bit grissly, the turkey was also cold and tasted as if it were waiting a day or so for my arrival. The gravy was however quite tasty and saved the day.
Food was nice but not up to the standard it was. Roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding tastes like Iceland products. Beef lovely. Mash either powdered or frozen. Veg tastes frozen. Definitely not what it was. Though tasty not up to usual standard.
Food lovely and very pleasant staff.
Beautiful surroundings recently revamped food amazing very good portions. Great place for meals partys etc.
The food was great and the staff were very pleasent and friendly highly recommended
Good service and excellent food.cheerful and very attentive staff
It is fine, staff were friendly, food was fine.
