We wilden graag lunchen na flinke wandeling. Geen lunchgerechten, bediening verre van vriendelijk en ongeïnteresseerd. Jeetje zeg.....nooit meer....Jammer voor een restaurant wat kans de wandel en fietsroutes ligt. Zouden hun locatie heel wat beter kunnen benutten.Het staat als café, restaurant, maar dat is het dus niet.

Un restaurant très branché. Bel cadre, le personnel sympa, la bonne cuisine. Endroit parfait pour prendre un verre avec des amis, ou dîner en famille.

In July 2022 I was at the Becher Gare on a Sunday for lunch arriving closer to the end of service and I was treated really bad! The lady who was supposed to welcome customers was so rude and I ended up leaving the place. Instead of telling me that I couldn’t have a table because it was too late, she was misbehaving. This is so unprofessional! It’s such a pity because few years ago I had a very nice dinner here.

Ce restaurant vous accueille dans le cadre chaleureux de lancienne gare de Bech. Vu imprenable sur les villages voisins.Service compétent et sympa. Rapport qualité / prix excellent, les joues de bœuf étaient délicieux.

Très accueillant, petite carte exceptionnelle et vue panoramique. Grand calme.

Lunch at a converted railway station. Sat at the patio overlooking the terrain which was lovely! Kids friendly, playground at the end next to brewery (brewery was closed when we went), entrance to hike was aslo next to restaurant.

Freundliches Personal, schöne und saubere Terrasse mit schönem Ausblick. Auch das Café ist sehr schön eingerichtet.Das Essen war auch sehr lecker!

Nous avons passé une très belle soirée. Le restaurant offre une très belle vue sur la campagne et les mets servis sont savoureux. Ici la bière est faite sur place. Le service est agréable, bref ici tout est réunis.

The worst Food weve eaten in a long time for a heavy price tag! Chateaubriand and filet de boeuf with no taste and came already cut in fine pieces with sauce on top which is a sin! Wine for 40€ which costs 8.59€ in the store but sold as exclusive! We only went due to peoples reviews so please write facts because I wonder if the positive reviews were paid for or written from people working there. Waitress was very nice but not professional since she brought my wine before the aperitif 🤯 so I had a warm wine and aperol at the same time.

Wir bekamen keinen Tisch, obwohl noch Plätze frei waren, lag bestimmt an unserem äußeren!! Passten wohl optisch nicht hinein, obwohl wir gerne gegessen hätten.

DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANTI booked a specific table for 5 people A MONTH in advance for a very special occasion. A circular table next to the window with a view.On arrival, only 2 tables in the whole restaurant were taken INCLUDING the table we had specifically booked!!! No other table for 5 was prepared, they did not understand our displeasure and were unapologetic.APPALLINGWe were then kept waiting for drinks and our food order.We will not be returning and suggest you dont either!If I could give 0 stars I would

Very nice location, good view. But the waitress was extremely unfriendly, even rude to us. The menu is very limited and the prices are way higher than many other Luxembourg restaurants.We went there twice and had the same experience. We wont go there again.

I think even if the food is good there but with the rudeness of the waitress (impolite, unfriendly, stressed, etcand the fact that you are forced to take at least two plates (which was a lot), and of course you will be pay more than 50 EUR per person with any drink (too much especially if youre obliged to/not happy), your Sunday lunch is ruined. As a client its not possible/not nice to be treated like this, and she refused that we share the obligatory courses. We were not that hungry so we preferred something light (especially with so hot weatherbut they did not accept. I should definetly mention that the manager lady& the waiter were nice (friendly, very kindbut they could not do more than giving us the food (whole plateas take away. I really wished I did not leave after the discussion. Anyway, never back with that bad experience.

Becher Gare war ein gutes Restaurant. Preisleistung /Verhältnis hat immer gestimmt.Einfache leckere Speisen. So war es, so hat man es gekannt. Wir sind oft eingekehrt zum Mittagessen. Jetzt gibt es schlechtes total überteuertes Essen . Ich habe ein Gefühl als hätte der Besitzer gewechselt. Wir hatten fades, fettiges Tatare. Ungewürzt. Alle am Tisch hatten es bestellt weil es mit Trüffel war. Leider gab es nur ein wenig trockene geschmacklose Trüffel zu einem geschmacklosen Tatar..Ein kleines Schälchen ( diese waren allerdings sehr gutPommes Frites. Zum Tatar lagen ohne Vinaigrette, ein Paar Salatblätter.Das Wasser lief unter dem Salat auf dem Teller zusammen.Das ganze für 35 Euro. Davor ein Tomatensüppchen für 14 Euro. Weinkarte so là là. Dort müssen wir nicht mehr hin.

Bijzondere locatie bij een oud treinstation. Lekker eten bereid van verse ingrediënten. Zeker een aanrader.

Très beau, une vue magnifique mais malgré cela, un dîner décevant. Une viande trop cuite, une sauce béarnaise très moyenne et la même chose pour le poisson de mon épouse. C‘est peut-être à cause du Corona, mais c‘est dommage.

We went to Becher Gare for lunch after our small trip with two older kids. I have very confused feelings about this restaurant. It wasnt cheap at all, you could have expected good service. But in reality it was really poor. Generally slow, disorganised and particularly one elderly waitress very rude. After our arrival we waited more than 20 minutes for ordering meals. Disappointed I politely asked for the reason. The waitress told me we hadnt reservation before, which wasnt true, and she claimed to do us a favour by finding a place for us. They brought the meals for kids reasonably quickly, but my husband and I had to wait more than 60 minutes since placing the order for our meals. The waitress continued to be very unfriendly. Altogether, we spent there 2,5 hours without starter and initially envisaged dessert, mostly waiting for the service. The food was reasonably good, but service totally ruined feelings about the restaurant.

Nice Café, OK service but probably one of the most expensive snacks I have ever had in my life (for the equivalent price you would easily get a proper meal in most of Restos in Luxembourg City, not only a snack).

We arrived at 14.00 after a (longbiking tour. We wanted lunch and given the time we were absolutely not picky about what to eat.At first we were told there was only one day menu. Then suddenly nothing was available. Not a potage du jour, not a dessert, nothing.... If we wanted we could always check Echternach for snacks was the reply (Echternach is 10km away and they knew we were by bike). Very arrogant and obviously bikers and hikers are considered as not good enough to eat there. While walking out we passed a half full dessert fridge. It takes exactly 1 second to slice of some cake and put it on a plate. Never again.

Food was good and the place has an amazing view over the village and surroundings. Especially on clear sunny days this is really nice.They have a limited selection on the menu which changes often.Unfortunately the waiting times were surprisingly long. We booked a table for 12:00 and had our "Amuse Bouche" on the table at 13:30. Given that there is only a small selection on the menu (and that most of the plates share some side dishesits surprising how long everything took. We got to the desert at 15:30 which is kinda crazy. Maybe this was just bad luck. But when we brought it up, we were told the we should have told them in advance that we expected to finish before 16:00. Even in a fairly loud voice so that the whole restaurant became silent for a few seconds. Made us feel very uncomfortable.Even though this might have been bad luck, given the way we were treated, we wont be going back anytime soon

2 Chances to do everything but no the Managed to make us wait twice bring the wrong Wine and no excuses Well done...

Excellent location away from traffic, to enjoy tasty and well presented dishes. Great staff.

Amazing Food. Lovely surroundings. Safe play area for the children. The café is slightly separate from the restaurant though in the same building which is a great idea. We had a good time there as the staff is very welcoming and friendly. Well definitely go back and recommend our friends to visit.

Cuisine vraiment top, mais service très lent !Javais réservé et le soir ma réservation avait été oubliée et le restaurant était complet !!! On nous a finalement arrangé quand même une table, mais on a du redemander a 3 fois pour avoir enfin notre vin ! Heureusement la cuisine était vraiment bonne ! Je ne pense pas y retourner, car suite au service la soirée était trop stressante !!!

The place is very nice to have lunch or dinner or even to get a cup of coffee or a beer in the afternoon. The interior is really pleasant and modern. The terrace is interesting as well with a good view. The restaurant is situated in an ancient train station and the railway has been transformed in a cycling route. From here you can walk straight into the forest. Now, the quality of the food could be better. Service is quite ok.

Becher Gare lies in a stunning location, with an amazing window to see the planes of Bech, Berbourg and Herborn. The building is lovingly and tastefully renovated, paying its dues to the local identity as a train station.The service is quick, bit very unorganised. In the end of the day, they were so lovely and charming that they turned it into an asset.The menu is very weird, trying to combine Luxembourg cuisine with a twist, but then also offering completely random food. What happened to that Thai Shrimp dish? The food was edible, but had several flaws. The entrecôte was overdone for two people, the salmon was dry and the salad drowned in dressing. The desserts were generally fine but failed in small details. The food failed to live up to the high expectations this restaurant gives you. Their wine list was well curated.All in all a place you visit for the setting, not for the food. If you go there, stick to their pub.
