Huge parking lot with trails accessible for all skill levels. Went with a group of experienced riders, mid-level enthusiasts, and excited kids and everyone had fun. Several branches of the trail system allow advanced riders to challenge their skills while those new to mountain biking can develop theirs on smoother routes. Trails are also accessible east of the ridge line on the North side closer to Zen Trail.

CLOSED TO ATV & CAMPING & SHOOTING This trail is okay. Definitely geared towards MTN Biking. The parking at the bike trail is good but if you drive past that everything is fenced off with very limited parking. There are pretty views and open space.

I enjoy riding single track on my emountain bike, and I found Bear Claw Poppy Trail a great fit for what I like to do. Saw other folks my generation using ebikes. Nice boost for longer steep uphill grades! Mine has ability for continuous throttle, so I can get a version of the thrill and technical challenge of a dirt bike run. This is a great region for biking (and all motor sportswith trails marked for difficulty. Try the blue (more difficulttrails for a good technical workout without extreme challenge. Bear Claw Poppy serves all ages--I saw people from all generations, including a boy (8 yrs?killing it on the downhill. Many make St. George a pitstop to or from Las Vegas. Pretty sure this area is on its way to becoming the next Moab. Come and get it while you can....

Amazing "rollercoaster like" ride down! Even my wife loved it! There is zero shade so you wont find me here once it warms up outside. Great to have a bathroom with running water at the trailhead.

There are public bathrooms and drinking fountains at this newly renovated parking area. This is a great intermediate or beginner bicycling trailhead. There is a trail for going up and one for coming down, so you wont run into people on their way up.

I still know it as the Bloomington Loop from 25 years ago. (Not too fond of the new nameStill just as fun! They now have a parking lot at the end of Navajo Drive, with restrooms and bike station. They have a designated "up" trail from the parking lot to the clavicle at the end of the flat-top mesa. If you want the rest of the downhill (like the 3 fingers of deathyou should just get dropped off at the top and ride down the whole way, but you get a lot of downhill from the clavicle anyway.

Awesome trail, visited in September of 2020 during a three week tour of national parks, what a great ride, so many lines coming downhill I had to loop back and ride it again. Pop in the song "Invincible" by Tool from the fear lnnoculum album and enjoy the downhill Rollercoaster of ride that this trail is. Have fun folks!!

Great place to end up. Lots of room over the old parking lot. Up and back works as well. Longer rides available too. Start in Green Valley and get picked up here has always been a favorite for the kids. Since they are older we can start here and ride up to the water tank and back

A friend recommended this area for free RV camping, dirt lots have posted no overnight camping. 23RV got in but was high centered when we tried to leave. Not- RV-friendly. Bike trails looked awesome, spent all our energy digging out and no longer felt like riding bikes. looking at the exit other RV experienced the same Issues.

Awesome trail, definitely one of the best around southern Utah. Its a great spot to learn how to do drop offs on your bike. Watch out though, there are a lot of familes that like to stop in the middle of the trail, so keep your fingers on the brakes.

Epic biking trails. Plenty of room to explore. You could come here every day of the year and never repeat the same ride. Look out for folks who struggle with etiquette. The trails are marked indicating the direction you are supposed to go (up one way and down another), but not everyone abides. Take plenty of water and sunscreen because time flies by fast and youll want to stay.

This trail is so much fun! This was my moms first time mountain biking and my second and we had a blast! You can always find a beginner way around but they have more advanced trails too. There are always little side trails if you want to challenge yourself a little more. I highly recommend this trail!

It’s a beautiful area. Not as many gunshots as similar areas. If only people were a little better about packing out their shells, nails, and other garbage.

This is such an easy fun ride! Theres several ways to ride this trail. You can park in the parking lot and ride up the up trail 2.2 miles up(which gradually goes upthen you go down the down and able to pick your lines. Its a blast! I recommend this trail to anyone looking for a great time! You can also take a car to the bottom of the trail and rife a bigger portion of the trail. Theres a bit more uphill on this way. But soooo much fun! Great ride, great trail!

Went here on my very first mountain bike trail ever and had a blast, its not an overly difficult ride, and the downhill section was super fun but I would suggest it for absolute beginners...as there are a few really scary drop off for newbies that you really just cant bypass. Overall a great trail!

We took the 13 mile loop. A good pull up and some good speed down. The downhill is pretty smooth, without a lot of trickery. Some pretty fun riding at the bottom.

Of the two most commonly used Bearclaw Poppy Trail heads this is the easiest. There is plenty of parking even for standard Passenger cars no 4 wheel drive required. Just a hop skip and a jump over the fence and you are on the trail heading up the hill in the wash to join the downhill Trail after a couple miles. There are plenty of other trails at that point that you could Fork off onto. On busy days like holidays or special weekends it can be really really packed here. One special highlight of this Trailhead is that you really are only a quarter mile from the trail which puts you close enough that you can stop by your car to take a lunch break.

Great place to go mountain biking. This trail is lots of fun. The uphill part is very easy. Easy grades. The down hill section, going back after the turn around, is a ton of fun. The trail has different sections for beginners and experts, just follow the signs that say "easy" or "difficult". One of the most enjoyable trails in the St George area.
