Bean Barn - Restaurant in Greeneville, United States
This place is awesome. We came in shortly before closing and they still served us. Very friendly people.
I came here a few years ago and staff were very rude and then served me old coffee also there was a ton of dust on the clutter near the door. Hopefully its different now.
Still good food but not quite as before
Food was good the beans are amazing 😋, nice family oriented.
A longtime local eatery with a one of a kind Hobart burger. Great breakfast deals. Great all around prices. Cant beat their soup beans and cornbread with onions.
Enjoyed my wonderful pedicure. The person who did the pedicure was very skillful and gentle!
Great local burger joint. Better than any chain restaurant. Highly recommended.
Hometown haven, best burger in East Tennessee and possibly the state! One of my two favorite burgers! Get the Hobart Special with a large crinkle cut fry.
great staff, ole timey country store atmosphere, best burger in Greeneville
Have never been here to eat, but they need to tell there delivery truck not to block the street
Our first time to breakfast since they reopened. The atmosphere is old country store, cool!! Great service. Great prices. Food choices are very similar to all other country breakfasts...usual biscuits and gravy menu. Not much for someone looking for healthy choices. Coffee is mediocre, but hot and plentiful.
Great food, esp the burger and fries.
A country home cooked meal there food is good staff seems to be very Pilate and very well groomed I had the Soup Beans and Corn Bread with onions and they give a big portion i couldnt finish i give all together service 3 stars
Fantastic food and a great old country atmosphere.

Loved it. Hamburger and fries are the best in town.
The Food Was Great And The Employees Are Always nice.
Awesome burgers and they are not greasy. We get take out there when we work. Call in the order and go pick it up. Great food and friendly people.
Good food, usually a crowd n wait, parking can be difficult during peak times
Best burger in town. Tried the Hobart for the first time and it was amazing.
Love this place nice workers good smells of their food amazing decorations
Best burgers and fries in town! The Bean Barn is a Greeneville institution decorated to look like an old fashioned general store. The staff is friendly and the prices cant be beat. They also serve cans of soda from an vintage 1950s Coke chest cooler. You cant get a colder more refreshing can of soda anywhere else!!
Always enjoy a nice Hobart burger and fries here
Best cheeseburgers in town!!! Just wish they were open later and Saturdays
Great as a part of greenville ,the building and all . May have been a stage coach stop
My first time here. Got beans all the way which was great. Its soup beans with onions and a little beef stew added. Great prices as well.
If you want a home style diner with beans, stew, and burgers this is the place for you. Lots of antiques to look at and atmosphere is great.
Well I came down here one blessed Sunday after church lookin to fill my empty stomach . I happened to stumble across this spectacular restaurant. The food here is so amazing . So amazing in fact it made me want to give it a five star review . So I came across this website just to let people know that just because it’s not a big place , doesn’t mean it doesn’t have a big taste .
Now for good old country cooking, and great service, you just gotta go to the Bean Barn.
Awesome place to eat! Amazing collection of antiques.
The best beans cornbread, beef stew and cheese burgers in Green county.
Great place to grab lunch. The restaurant is filled with cool stuff you can bargain for like old hickory shaft golf clubs and signs.
A classic nostalgic place to eat!! Tge atmosphere is set like your eating in the middle of an antique shop. The menue is great the prices are low and the staff is super friendly. Bathroom is decent make sure to take the time to look at all the antiques on the way out. A true landmark for this town
I came for the beans and the beans were good! Beans are served with a large piece of cornbread and cost $3.34 including tax.
The Bean Barn is an awesome place. I ate there back in the 70s during my high school years and always look forward to eating there when I come back to Greeneville for a visit. Jerry Hartsell his crew are great people serving great food. Hope they continue on for many years. They are part of the fabric of Greeneville.
A bit dirty and run down, but great if you love a greasy burger. Cash only.
Very friendly atmosphere, great service, great food, and very timely manner!!
This restaurant has the Best Breakfast in Town.Homemade Biscuits and Gravy Eggs to order...An Old Store Decorated old Timey.. Serves Breakfast and Lunch....Lunch Soup Beans Cornbread. Hot dogs Hamburgers Hamburger Steak.. Great Folks....

This is the best food in town. Friendly folks, great food, and unique style makes this a place you cant miss out on
Historic building with decades history of a limited but well cooked menu. Its fun to browse through their collections of old time common items.
Food was delicious and the atmosphere was a lot of fun. So much to look at.
This is a must stop for anyone wanting the full Greeneville native experience. Try the Hobart Burger and beans all the way!
The Bean Barn has been drawing a very loyal cadre of customers for many decades, and every out-of-town guest Ive ever brought here has fallen in love with it. My German exchange students parents wont leave Greeneville without a visit to the Bean Barn! The decor is fun, bringing you immediately back to a soda fountain along Route 66 or a 1958 downtown 5 & Dime store, but the main attraction is the food! The best burgers in town are served here, and they are famous for the Hobart (a burger with ham & cheese), biscuits and gravy (an Appalachian staple that cant get otherwise unless unless your Mamaw is still around to make it for youand pinto beans & corn bread.Breakfast is amazing, but if you want to go there for lunch youd better call in your order. After youve been there a couple times, the servers wont even take your order, theyll just bring you your sweet tea and ask if you want your usual.A couple of years ago, there was a documentary about the Bean Barn! This is a local hot spot not to be missed if you visit Greeneville, Tennessee
This restaurant is beantastic! Been eating here since I was a young kid hasnt changed very nostalgic.
The place was filthy dirty. the food was below average. the price was too high. I hope no 1 ever goes there ever again
