Bean Bar in Turku

Expected to have really nice coffee and something sweet, as the place is very highly rated and at google and TripAdvisor. Real disappointment- coffee was below average and the sandwich very average. Sitting environment does not inspire you to be there. Do not recommend.

Sunnuntaina suurin osa menun tuotteista ei ole saatavilla. Varmistetaan erikseen parikin kertaa, että seuraavana päivänä on ja niin myös meille vakuutetaan. Maanantaina ovet ovat lukossa siitä huolimatta, että oven ja netin aukioloaikojen mukaan paikka on auki ja asiaa erikseen edellisenä päivänä kysyttiin.

Käyn täällä erityisesti lasagnen takia, yksi parhaista joita olen koskaan syönyt. Hyvä palvelu, kahvit myös erinomaisia ja loistava sijainti.

Hyvää kahvia ja maukasta pikkupurtavaa. Laadukasta kahvia pystyy ostamaan myös kahvilassa myytävissä pusseissa puruina ja papuina.

Tilasin täältä kakun ilman aikaisempaa kokemusta kyseisestä paikasta. Sovimme noudon keskustan kahvilaan, mutta sekaannuksesta johtuen ei kakku ollut siellä. Jouduin käymään uudestaan myöhempää, jonka johdosta en ehtinyt päivän aikana syömään. He kyllä pahoittelivat ja sain kahvin hyvitykseksi, joten siinä mielessä he hoitivat asian hyvin. Kakku oli synttärisankarille mieluinen ja hän kehui sitä kovin. Kyseessä oli Schwarzwaldin kakku ja ihan perustaidokkaasti tehty kokonaisuus.

Lattea kävin juomassa oli tosi hyvää ja edullista . Pieni paikka mutta sillä hetkellä ei muita asiakkaita.

Ainakin falafel bowl oli todella hyvä! Paahdetut pähkinät, granaattiomena ja balsamico tuovat annokseen reilusti makua.

Pieni, ahtaan tuntuinen ja kiireinen kahvila. Ehkä jonain toisena ajankohtana miellyttävämpi kuin lauantai-iltapäivänä, jolloin kaikilla vaikuttaa olevan kiire vetämään kalsarikännit kuka minnekin. Cappuccino laimeudellaan ei paranna tilannetta. Sellainen fiilis, että toiste ei mennä.

Taso on laskenut pahasti uusien omistajien myötä. Ei huono vieläkään, mutta mennyt ketjumaiseksi eikä taso ole enää entisellään. Mutta kiva paikka silti hyvällä sijainnilla. Kesällä voi istua ulkona. Ei vaan enää pääse kärkisijoja lähellekään, ennen oli ykkössuosikkini.

Excellent vegetarian/vegan meals! Tasty and big portions. Perfect lunch option in city center. They also have tables out which is nice on a sunny day.

Valitettavasti tuotteiden taso oli alhainen. Seurueessamme kaikkien juomat ja ruoat olivat pettymys, etenkin jäälatte oli erityisen laimea. Ruokia ja juomia piti myös odottaa lähemmäs puoli tuntia.

This used to be my favourite coffee place in the whole town, but ever since the ownership changed level dropped significantly. These days they do have more food options and its great, but... Coffee now tastes burned and even though selection of sweets has increased, the quality went down. I am a huge lover of chocolate and theirs sits there even when it gets white residue (I have pointed it out and barista just said that it tastes the same), also they have got some new chocolates, but could not tell what would the filling for those be (asked on multiple occasions)

Viimeiset kolme tilauskertaa ovat olleet katastrofeja. Viimeksi falafel-salaatista puuttui hummus (tilalla löysää jogurttia), sitä edeltävällä samaisen salaatin falafelit oli poltettu syömäkelvottomiksi (kahdesta salaatista, saavutus sinänsäja sitä ennen granaattiomena oli korvattu tuorekurkulla.Lähetin tästä myös suoraan palautetta, johon ei koskaan vastattu.Todella sääli, ennen oli todella loistava taso ja aina sai laatuherkkuja.

One of the few places where the barista serves a caffè lungo when asked for. The cakes and chocolates are delicious.The space is small but cozy, however, the acoustics are terribly, especially when beans are ground, milk is foamed or another patron has a particularly loud voice.

Good selection. Would love to come here for breakfast.

Mukava pieni kahvila Hansan kyljessä. Hyvä menu erilaisia kylmiä ja kuumia juomia ja yllättävän hyvä valikoima myös kaikkea purtavaa. Kahveihin tavallisen maidon lisäksi saatavilla vegaanisia vaihtoehtoja, kuten kaura- tai soijamaitoa. Laadukkaat ja oikean hintaiset tuotteet. Bean Barista voi myös tilata leivonnaisia ja ostaa kahvipapuja.

My favourite coffee place in Turku!

Out of all the abundunt cafes my boyfriend and I have gone to in Turku this is the one that we kept coming back to. Fantastic drinks, amazing mudcake, and our all time favorite was the cream soda cold brew. This cafe might be small but its very cozy and the people working were so kind and really made the best coffees!

Even though the café is definitely on the smaller side, it still packs quite a punch. Its a great choice, especially if youre feelings a bit adventurous since they offer a variety of special coffees. Vegans options are also available, which is a big plus. However, keep in mind that a big group probably wont fit in due to the limited amount of space.

Simply the most delicious cup of coffee one can get in Turku.

Delicious coffee in this small central coffee shop. Would highly recommend. Staff very friendly and helpful, spoke great English to us tourists :)

A very cozy place which might not be suited for bigger groups of people due to the rather small tables and area, but is well worth the experience. I for instance know a place has something special when they have three types of hot chocolate, one of which has liquorice (which I ordered and is shown in the attached pictureand is actually delicious. I can also confirm the toasts and ice creams to be good.

Pleasant atmosphere, a medium-size yet very cozy plave. Very friendly and helpful english speaking staff. Opens up early enough, have a great list of teas, coffee options and quick bite menus. Not only is it roughly a third cheaper than ordinary prices in Finland, but the latte I had was HUGE and the quality is astounding. Probably the best coffee Ive had in Finland.Alongside coffee we had warm toasts, also reasonably priced.If you go to Turku, and like espresso and the lot, do not miss Bean Bar.
