Man behind the bar thought I was a 6ft man with the beer he served me and wasn’t very pleasant.These pubs around Birmingham are disgusting I’m not sure where the people have come from but I’m pretty sure they all fell off the last honky tonk I’m a lumberjack busTo say my family used to drink in these locals and now someone’s brought the riff raff in.Poor Britain

Not a place I would choose to visit but the prices for food and drink are cheap, large seating area outside with huge TV for sports etc. Small climbing frame for young kids.

Nice pleasant atmosphere, wasnt loud, friendly chatty bar staff nice food only a small issue we had the burgers but there wasnt enough sauce on them so couldnt taste the bbq

We only went in for a coffee (as we do infrequentlyjust to have a natter and a catch up with our invalid friend, the hosts Kerry and Chris couldnt have been more accommodating, found us suitable seating then delivered our coffee hot and prompt, really wasnt expecting table service for what was just a meagre cuppa. Well done 10 out of 10, thats the way to do business 👍

Came down Wednesday 31st August with my wife and 2 friends. Food was amazing thanks to chefs Zach and Vikki! We got served by Chris, Jake and Britt. The service was lovely. Had a wonderful time.

Decent fish and chips and Southwest Burger. Chicken Kebab not so good with just a very thick chunk of chicken. Apple crumble had oatsy crumble leaving an after taste and can do better again for sureAmbience and cleanliness especially toilets also very good

Excellent service and friendly staff, especially Marie who served our table with a positive attitude, overall made the experience better thank-you Marie!

A great family friendly local. Just held our informal wedding reception there. Donna and her team were all really helpful and made sure everything was as we wanted. The buffet was great (as the food always is!Definitely a pub to go for a drink or for a celebration. Thankyou Donna and your team xx

Good pub to watch the football especially outside.“Some” bar staff tend to serve regulars first. 🤷🏼‍♀️Just wanted to say what a hard worker the young lad (blonde hairthat has not stopped cleaning up all the outside today.It was very busy today.His the only one ive seen come out to collect glasses, plates, clean tables & floor.Bringing meals out.Loving the outside DJ 👍🏻

First time at the Beeches yesterday. The food was great, good size portions, really enjoyed the steak pie. Friendly staff, quick service and Marie really looked after us. Will definitely be returning.

Excellent value for money, always a warm welcome, the food has improved immensely. Marie always looks after us really well, I will recomend them toevryone. We visit at least 4 times a week now

Very Good Food, would recommend prebooking especially on Friday or the weekend as its quite busy.

Had a lovely afternoon celebrating my Uncles 85th birthday. We had booked a table for 14 but it was by the entertainment, which was loud. We asked to be moved and this was done at once. We had lovely meals which everyone enjoyed.

Tried it for the first time the other week as we only live round the corner food was nice but seems to be a younger crowd of drinkers

Nice friendly staff wasnt busy but I liked that steak was cooked to perfection complements to the shef.

Visited for breakfast for the first time. I had the standard full English and have to say I enjoyed every single bite. Nice sized portion and cooked with some love rather than thrown together. Staff are friendly, polite and courteous. Will be visiting here again soon.

The pub has gone downhill fast, cutlery isn’t bought to your table before your meal, a staff member who bought my meal said you need cutlery I’ll get it for you..she never came back.. the steak was blue not medium, sent it back came back half medium half still blue..salmon was super dry..don’t think I’ll be going there again.. shame as I live near..

My friend had his daughters sweet 16 at this pub it was really nice a great venue with everything you could ask for a massive outdoor area with a decent play area for the kids....the pubs quite big aswell and th e service is good....

My local pub. Real good place to go to if youre looking for a lovely meal. Prices are good and theres a lot of deals and events during the week. Happy with the portion sizes for the money, I think its well worth it! Staff are all very lovely and helpful too which is always lovely and why we always return! Overall a brilliant little place! Would recommend😊

Ill be honest. We came a few weeks ago and actually had really nice food...on that occasion I had the fish and chips. Pretty easy really. Cant go wrong. Safe bet if you like. Sooooo on our return I decided to have a punt on the burger steak wings combo on a skillet. Well this is where it failed completely. Burgers were dry,hard tasteless difficult to eat. And I mean difficult as In it completely killed me to eat it. Buns dry and hard. The cheese never melted. The bacon was 🤢🤢🤢. The steak that accompanied the meal was once again dry.. tasteless and completely un-edible. Sooooo I dont think Ill ever step foot in the place again. Shame really but was a waste of time waste if money and a complete waste of our time.

Highlight of my week is the Sunday quiz! Had many of years in the beeches but Donna is by far the best theres been ❤ a great place to be!

Good food for a national chain service was pleasant and family atmosphere during early evening was very good. Food was hot and tasty .the rear beer garden has a festival feel with giant television screen and bench seating for sporting events.

Went there as a last minute Mothers Day lunch with the family.Food was good but other family members were not very keen with their meal.

Lovely place, always a good atmosphere, food always good quality and decent value. Donna the manager can’t do enough for you and Callum behind the bar is always polite and remembers your name and what you drink. Brittany the supervisor is also more than happy to change table bookings for us and is always happy to accommodate our large family. FYI the quiz on a Sunday night is always good fun too.

Visited today for lunch. Had chicken kebab, while the food was tasty it was cold. Please serve the food a lot hotter and you would get the 5 stars. Chips were cold and chicken kebab definitely wasnt hot enough. No one came to ask if things were OK and bar staff where run off their feet so we didnt report it.

Standard hungry horse menu, food is as expected (cheap and cheerfulwhich is what is expected from such a venue.Facilities are mostly always clean and tidy, with a good selection of well priced drinks.Management and staff arent very approachable and dont appear to be happy whilst working and service can be a little slow at times.

First impressions count: Way too many dirty tables. Rubbish all over the floor, bin overflowing by kitchens. Not a good look from a customers point of view.Forty-five minutes wait for food, a bacon cheese burger. Food came with ice cold bun, lukewarm burger,& cremated bacon, which I removed. Soggy onion rings, fries was the best thing about the meal. Then, the lady on the next table found a hair in her meal. Well, that was it for me.I wont be eating here again. Such a shame, nice atmosphere. But mediocre food & filty must do better.

Came in for food and to do some work on my laptop as its my local pub. Service received was amazing. Jen is always a smiley, bubbly presence in the pub and her service is always above and beyond. Special mention to Taylor and Luke from the kitchen too, the food was delivered quickly, served perfectly and tasted beautiful. :)

Husband treated me to a romantic meal for Valentines Day. Staff were warm & friendly, meal was lovely. Donna the manager even hired a singer to make it more special, my husband even got up and danced! Great atmosphere will definitely return.

I held the wake for my nans funeral here. The staff went above and beyond to help the day go as smooth as possible. The quality of service we received was amazing. The buffet we received was great value for money and delicious. Would highly recommend.

Staff friendly prices reasonable. 2 issues. Broken lock on toilet, custard wasnt as described. expected more. 2 staff came out to explain. I suggested they took large word out of description.

Love Beeches Great Barr Hungry Horse menu talk about value for money. 2 meals £8.99 Winning! £1 more in walsall where i live the combination combo £8.69 also cheaper by £1. When yr on a budget its great was able to treat grandaughter for 10th birthday. There is a small play area for the little ones outside. My only criticisms my granddaughter chicken was dry and when we finished our meal we had to wait absolutely ages just for 1 desert (treatI asked twice and the second time we were told 3 minutes. Thats what lost 1 star

The Beeches version of a gluten free burger...a beef patty and a spud. Seriously, what food establishment in 2021 cant source and provide a GF burger bap. What is with the random spud?It would be laughable if the food was cooked well and presented hot, rather than a luke warm ensemble of dried overcooked gumf.

Really massive pub. Decent garden with lots of benches. Car park is small, but there is a lot of parking on the street.Food was delicious and we got to use Tesco clubcard vouchers which was a bonus.Staff were friendly. Will visit again.

Had the jack burger with fried covered in nacho cheese and bacon and it was great. A little dry but very filling and a good meal. Staff asked for ID though which was weird as we were asked on entry. Staff were very polite and checked on us to see if everything was alright as well

A busy pub which only had tables outside at the time but wasnt an issue. Covid 19 theres a one way system in place, screens at tills and hand sanitiser avaliable. Ample parking was avaliable at the exterior of the pub. This pub is on the Perry Beeches area of Birmingham. The inside seemed to mainly consist of families and pubs.The menu is very varied and you can order on the app here which was a great bonus. Service was excellent. The host charged me extra for something I did not have but they refunded me promptly as I did not point it out proactively.£10.00 for below due to my in house discount card I had on me at the timeDouble Cheeseburger and FriesApple CrumbleDiet CokeFood was as expected. You know what you will get and it was good quality.8/10

A hungry Horse Greene King pub with a good large outside seating area with play area for the kids.It offers great food deals each day of the week on mains.Good choice of food for adult as well as the young and old.Plenty of seats whether eating or just drinking in the bar.Good choice of lagers and cider as well as cocktails.Well worth a visit for good value food and drink.

Well set up decorations, calm atmosphere, good lightnings all round. Well plated dishes and delicious meals. However, the floor was not that tidy as there were food crumbs all over the floor and no one is attending to it for an hour that we were there for.

We went on Monday for the fireworks night, we didnt know what to expect, and after being stuck on the M6 for an hour we arrived quite fed up, but the minute we walked in, the kids faces lit up. We were welcomed by three members of staff on entry and straight away there was a buzz about the place. How they turned a Hungry Horse into that Ill never know... DJ, fairground rides, street food, stalls, it just went on and on, so much so that it was extended out to the car park area. Then the fireworks started, and they were amazing, went on for about 20 mins, which we really didnt expect. Anyway, for a family of six (including a newborn), family outings can be a nightmare, but we had a great time, entertaining, safe environment and very impressive. Well definitely be back for the Christmas events.
