Wonderful breakfast spot and the coffee was really great.

3 in-depth reasons This is not a good coffee shop for coffee lovers or people looking to take their morning coffee on the go or are otherwise pressed for time. I am giving it two stars for the following reasons.1.if you don’t have your own cup, you are forced to stay at the shop and drink your coffee. Or buy a mason jar which could easily burn your hand when filled with hot coffee.2.If you order food on an average Saturday, it’ll take 30+ minutes to get it. For us It took 34 minutes to get a sandwich and two eggs.3.The coffee is typical cafe coffee. Nothing to write home about. It’s the only coffee shop in town, which makes it busy by default. But the quality just isn’t there, especially if your a 3rd wave coffee fan like us.Pros:1.The Food is pretty good.2.Outside patio is a good place to enjoy.

Cute place, nice folks working there and the coffee and lemon bar were good, but we waited over 30 minutes for a sandwich and bowl of soup that were both below average. So fine for pastries but go somewhere else for lunch.

Great food. Decent local beer selection.

Did a Google search said it was going to be open, traveled from Eureka to here for breakfast and the are closed due to "COVID" just keep driving to Seascape!

Excellent coffee.. and the fluffy cake was lovely. The Vegan bean bowl is super fresh and energeizing. Also they are very environmentally conscious.. truly appreciate saving the trees

Very nice and quiet atmosphere and beautiful artwork on the walls. Theyre also gifts available and wine available within the business and an outdoor eating area also and friendly staff.

Eco-conscious (no paper cupsand the food was incredible!! Hearty moist scones, vegan/gluten free options, great coffee, to boot. Do yourself a favor and stop in of you get an opportunity!

We’d always looked forward to indulging in our favorite tuna sandwiches whenever we came through Trinidad as they were not only extremely delicious, but full of tuna. It’s been two years since we stopped by for a couple sandwiches and we were pretty disappointed today. Delicious, but a fraction of the tuna we had enjoyed from past sandwiches. Very disappointed as the quantity of tuna was pretty pathetic, considering the price. We’ll most likely pass through without the stop we’d looked forward to in the past.

Stopped by here for a chai tea on our drive through Trinidad, the staff was very friendly and theres lots of outdoor seating to eat at with a water bowl for dogs. They have gluten free muffins and gf bread options for sandwiches as well!

Been here a couple of years ago and I was impressed of the quality of food and the fact they insisted I get my own bowl and cup so they could fill them up with goodness!! Great concept!!

We came here our last day in Trinidad early July 2021. Delicious little breakfast place I would recommend anyone in town check the hours and stop by if you can. Plus a cute dog walks around and lets you pet it!!

I’ve lived here 15 years and never been here! Coffee is ok, I like the idea of no paper cups but it was a bit of a surprise so I ended up staying instead of getting takeout to save on buying the mason jar (mostly because I have a million of them). It’s a little weird that they’re taking peoples personal mugs during the pandemic? Mainly my 5 star rating is for the amazing house made English muffins that they’re baking in their wood fired oven in the back! So delicious. Will be back for other dishes in the future :)

Absolutely love the no paper to go cups movement they have going there! You either bring your own coffee cup or buy one for them, or like in my case you buy a sweet mason jar! Outside seating and the food was amazing! So fresh and tasty!

Coffee and food are good. Not great, but good. Considering prices, definitely overpriced. Wait times to get anything is ridiculously long after order. Ive been here a few times and I dont think Ive waited less than 20 minutes for an espresso drink.That said, what other options do you have in town?

A coffee shop that does not offer paper cups to go. If you dont want to enjoy your coffee on site in their beautiful outside eating area bring your own cup or you can purchase a cup for $2. I enjoyed my coffee outside sitting next to some greenery.

Visited the Beachcomber Cafe in Trinidad, CA on a Sunday morning. First time. The cafe was open for outdoor seating on a nice patio area. The menu was posted on the wall and we ordered at a walkup window. Service was awesome, friendly and helpful with menu selection advise. Our food tasted good and the mocha we ordered was great! A very nice cafe worth visiting, in my opinion.

While here I was treated with kindness by the staff. The food was delicious, I ordered the bean bowl with two eggs and avacado. It had me thinking to incorporate it into my at-home morning routine. The coffee they had on drip was smoooth and delightfully flavorful. Highly recommend!

Friendly lively staff, great cafe food, live music that you can talk over. Just a vibrant place, glad we found it.*Edit: okay I admit I wrote the review before tasting the food and now Im even happier. The beachcomber is fantastic!

Nice place off the highway! They have tasty vegetarian and vegan options. Ample outside seating area as well as parking available. Apparently their concern and respect for nature reflects nicely in their food and the way they serve their customers! Definitely a try worthy place if you can, however please remember that they use love and time to prepare their food so patience is needed. Thank you!!

Wonderfully nice people and food/coffee to match. As a visitor they made my wife and I feel like locals! We were in Trinidad for two days and could not miss the opportunity of eating there each day. They have fresh, flavorful, nutritious food; including breakfast and lunch options. Totally incredible place. The carrot cake is UNREAL - Team Matt

Incredibly friendly staff. A family in front of us took absolutely forever ordering and the staff didn’t even bat an eye. They were very kind to my wife and me and all were very respectful of COVID regulations. The restaurant has a small, personal feel and the food is amazing and healthy.

This place was excellent!! Ive had a stressful time finding food I can eat along the PC-1 with my food restrictions, but the food here was delicious and nice variety for gluten free, egg free, dairy free! A+ feeling much better with a happy full tummy!I overheard another customer commenting on your creamy their oat milk was too!! I already had a home brewed coffee, but maybe on another swing through I can try that too! ;)

Arrive with a bit of patience and you will be delighted with the coffee and treats. Really enjoyed their GF Savory Seed bread!

Was visiting and the place was recommended by business partner. Went there originally for the pizza but the grill was not manned when we got there. But all the vegetarian dishes were very tasty. The sweet potato fritters were my favorite. They also had a great charcuterie board with some amazing soft cheeses.

Such an awesome place with a focus on sustainability! The food and coffee was amazing and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. Well be back next time were in the area!

Recently tasted heaven in a cup with the Mexican Mocha. Delicious! My favorite part of the experience was learning that Beachcomber doesnt offer paper to-go cups. Great idea! I happily purchased a mason jar that came with a custom cup holder. Stop by if youre in town!

As if this place needed any more praise. The coffee is awesome and fresh. The food is sweet, savory, light or filling - which ever you choose to start off your morning. The selection is overwhelming and plentifully delicious. The best part, was they let our Yellow Lab Finn, sit and enjoy the patio greeting other dogs.Our AirB&B host Tracey mentioned this is the place to go for breakfast in Trinidad, and she was absolutely correct. On our next visit from Corona, we will stop again and enjoy the coffee and the dog-atmosphere on the patio.

The coffee is good, but dont plan on ordering to go. You have to pay for a "jar". The cashier with short red hair is embarrassingly rude. Perhaps check out another place if you are passing through.

Biked 6,000 miles across America and this is one of my favorite coffee shops. What makes it special is they do not allow singular use disposable cups. Don’t worry, they offer mason jars that can be purchased at a cheap rate. The indoor/outdoor seating is also fantastic. It’s a nice place to work or lounge. Family friendly.

Nice, friendly spot. Great for food, great for people watching. It’s easy to mingle with the locals and you can always count for good tips on where to hike. Oh, and the menu is really good. There are some gluten free options (both bagels and muffinsand I can highly recommend breakfast bowls-warm and feeling. They even have kambucha! They also have 5 different types of coffee from the darkest till the lightest. I honestly would give this place 6 stars!

Amazing food and coffee and just a cool, friendly, cozy atmosphere. The staff was sweet. The Lox bagel was delicious and the avocados on the other bagel were just perfect. Also, Trinidad is just the most gorgeous little town.

Bagel was amazing. The sauce they make is very very good! Cream cheese, Avacoda, Red Onion... Cant beat it! They are very friendly inside and have all sorts of fresh baked goods to choose from. Drip coffee and espresso available. I only gave it four starts when it deserves more like 4.75 stars... Which .25 taken away for a slightly marshmallow foam on the cappuccino. I know. What a thing to complain about! Haha! Check these guys out for sure.

I go here every morning I stay on the coast. Great espresso pours and pastries. A good thing to know about this place is they do not have paper cups. Bring your own, take a donation cup, or drink there. We walk around this the ‘here’ cups and walk around and bring em back. Easy! Yummy.

The Italian panini was amazing!!! Great coffee, delicious homemade baked goods and wide range of Gluten Free, Vegetarian and Vegan option. Delicious.

What a wonderful Cafe this is! Truly a gem. The bean bowl with sautéed veggies is pretty awesome. It has avocados, 2 poached eggs, beans and their homemade salsa. Id recommend adding the sautéed veggies to round it out. My friends ordered other items on the menu and had nothing but great reviews. Cant go wrong with ordering anything from their menu.All their coffee here is great too!
