Beach Park Hotel in Miami Beach

The bed was hard, ice machine didnt work, and the toilet clogged. In addition we left our phone in the room at checkout, called with in 10 miutes to let them know we were coming back. We went directly back. When we arrived and picked up the phone, half of the case was missing. The half that was missing had a drivers licence and a credit card in a little pocket. Turns out the cleaning staff had it. Im not sure why they though they had to take the case apart other than to keep my credit card and DL.

We love the old look in lobby (1960and the rooms (1990BUT THEY HAVE NO COMPLEMENTARY COFFEE NOR A MICROWAVE AT ALLLL. I NEEDED A SIMPLE CUP THE FRONT DESK SAID THAT THEY DIDNT HAVE DO I ASKED THE ICE CREAM STAND WHICH IS ALSO IN LOBBY A SINGLE WHITE EMPTY ICE CREAM CUP I ASKED FOR SHE GAVE ME THE ( I DONT HAVE THE WINNING NUMBERS LOOK AND I WAS GOING TO BUY THE CUPAND PARKING FORGET IT. THEY MAKE THERE OWN PRICE OF PARKING July 2,3, $50. July 5 $80 for the car to be parked in the back of hotel dark alleyThe owner of hotel, ice cream shop, parking should be ashamed. Didn’t have a problem with the water like the other reviews said, location is great can’t beat it for the price. Also got my deposit back the 2 day of checking out, would definitely recommend this hotel.

Cute hotel right on the beach. So many restaurants to choose from. This hotel was built in the 1920s, which I was loved the old historical building. The staff is super friendly.

Parking is a nightmare! We arrived at 9 pm and missed the hotel because there is t much for signage. Just look for the 600 on the side of the building. We had to valet which was 50 bucks for one night because there is no parking. Location is great if you’re looking for nightlife and easy access to the beach. The rooms are nothing like the pictures posted. It’s a very basic room and the prices listed aren’t even close. What started out at 158 for an executive king ended up being over 200 dollars after fees. There is a 28.50 charge at the hotel plus they hit your credit card for a 200 dollar deposit. Now for the room, the bed was hard, the room was clean and the temp was comfortable.

Their website is a bit deceiving. This is no boutique hotel. It’s clean and at the beach but that’s all it has going for it. Sheets are scratchy and towels are tiny. You have to pay a resort fee to be able to use their old beach towels and chairs that are stained and rusty. Not the worst but it’s more like a 2 star motel.

This hotel was very convenient on Ocean Blvd, the lobby was clean. The air you could not control, there was no hot water in the shower what so ever, so imagine taking a cold shower in a cold room. We stayed in room 316. The lobby closed at 11p.m so there was no one to complain to. It took me a week to get in touch with the manager there and she refused to admit that there was no hot water and she refused to give me any of my money back. I book this through Booking.com I contacted them and they looked into it, buy no one responded to their inquires. I will not stay at this hotel if I visit Miami again. Very non professional

Besides for it looking like a haunted hotel upon entering, the overall vibe was good. We had NO hot water our ENTIRE stay. Addressed the front desk about it, maintenance never arrived as promised. Room was VERY BASIC for the price, plus the no hot water… Guess you have to sacrifice the small things for right on location.

I went to this hotel for my first trip to Miami, and I am very disappointed. Very filthy, uncomfortable bed, broken toilet, not even a coffee maker, (very sad for coffee loversand just a not so good environment. Would be better if they would just re-model to throw away the vintage look and to add more amenities. Make it comfortable for the guests! Do not recommend at all :(

This place was a cute old fashioned hotel, room was also cute. Like they say you get what you pay for but we have no complaints. Our room was nice and clean and cool at night. Perfect location to the beach and all the restaurants near by, i would recommend and rebook it again!

We booked our stay in advance and received an email with the verification. Upon arrival we were told we needed to put an additional $200 deposit down which we were uninformed of prior. The beds were extremely creaky and uncomfortable. The shower gets to about lukewarm. And when we checked out, we waited on vallet for forty five minutes while our car just drove off somewhere. The hotel is located near the beach and theres plenty of restaurants and fun bars in the area but despite that I dont think well be returning.
