Amazing beach along the Atlantic ocean with cristal water
Beautiful beach ,miles and miles of sun, paradise ,the palafitico Is beautiful also ,amazing to take photos
MoreGreat sand, few bars at the entrance. Lots of parking space and amazing ocean water.
MoreBeautiful location, lovely beach nice shops and restaurants.A lot of over priced goods on sale and ridiculous house prices. But well worth a visit, just to see how gullible some people are.
MoreOne of the best beaches ⛱️ in the world, the water is a bit cold at first but after is nice. Wonderful experience in the Atlantic ocean.
MoreSimply beautiful and a must see stuning beach sand and beach clear water views outstanding.
MoreThe beach looks beautiful, but its actually quite dirty with loads of plastic pieces in the water and in the sand.
MoreMy favourite beach so far.
Great beach, great atmosphere, friendly staff, full of amenities of all kinds, fully accessible wheelchair beach very inclusive wheelchair users get free parking in the shade just beside the path with showers just in front and get also free a shade place just behind the lifeguard tower, be aware that only 2 spaces for wheelchair users exist so come early for best chances of getting one. Also has floating wheelchair that is used with the assistance of 2 lifeguards. The water is oceanic, bit cold most of the time but clear and waves are generally gentle.
MoreIts a great beach, very popular across people in the South. The restaurants/bar can be quite pricy
MoreGreat beach, fine sand, parking paid 5€ or park on the side for free.Didnt like that prices are exaggerated for the restaurants, sun beds and umbrella and others.
MoreDelightful spot. I hope the big lobbies of lodging or accommodation dont hoard this paradise. One of the best beaches in Portugal is definitely here.
MoreLovely little town, great looking and busy food spots, didnt stay long enough to enjoy fully. Only 2k walk from a beautiful beach although not dog friendly
MoreNice beach during the day!Look out for the mutant flying bugs at sunset!
Beautiful, extensive beach, plenty of space and a nice area to explore!
Beautiful beach with beautiful views, soft white sand and very clear water.
Long, cold, posh... Beutiful Beach if it was in other country. If you compare to most of Portugal... Its nothing special.... There are this fancy restairanhtes that offer umbrellas and chairs, food and expensive drinks. Not my favorite kind a place.
MoreThe closest free option after you pass to Troia side from Setubal by ferry, if you take your car over.Free parking, easy access from the parking to the beach (at least in Julyand specially for handicap people or people with some moving limitations, because the crossboard walk is preserved and straight and ends directly over a red carpet (indeedthat helps you roll or walk with a cane and or stretchers straight into the wet sand. Long beach with room for everyone and no ridiculous restrictions of use of beach tent of umbrella of other beach devices. Beach is observed by life guards under limited schedule. If you like skimboarding, this coastline is great because the waves break in a tisted shore sand line, so you have high and quick waves growing fast right there. The sand in fine grit and very clean, and you have 2 bars available right at this beach front.
MoreMy new favorite place. Please order the Rose Sangria, you wont regret. Actually order 2 or 3 😊🤩. We order some small tapas from the sushi bar, a tuna tartare and a salmon seviche. 200 stars is what they deserved.
MoreOne of the most amazing beaches in Portugal 🇵🇹Clean golden sandCrystal clear watersShort walking distance (2-3 minutes)
MoreOne of the best beaches in Portugal, not matter what everyone said
Beautiful beach and very nice area. I definitely recommend
Quiet beach with pleanty of space and good services!
Very pretty beach, with the option to rent two lounge chairs under shade. There are two restaurants and a bar. The bar has happy hour prices too. We ate at one of the restaurants. It was significantly overpriced… some food was amazing, and some was average. Parking is free if you stay out of the gated area. On the day we went, the waves were big, which was fun. Unfortunately, the wind was quite strong so it was chilly in the water. We really liked our time there, and we would go back.
MoreGreat place. Parked campervan up the hill for the night. Went to posh expensive restaurant. So will cost you €100+ for meal and bottle of wine. Food ok, but views amazing. Book if you go in the afternoon.
MoreGreat, good access to the beach, excellent support infra structure.
Beautiful 🏝 breathtaking landscape, drinking a delicious caipirinha or tasting a glass of wine 🍷 , or have some delicious grilled fresh fish or a snack like a gourmet burger with fries, watching the Sado dolphins 🐬play in the water, after a fantastic sunny 😎 day tanning !! Definitely don’t miss it!!
MoreBeautiful beach, plenty of free parking, very few people. Lots of shells for collecting.2 restaurants / beach clubs on the beach to choose from.Chairs & shade available during peak season.
MoreTruly a happy place. Gorgeous beach, sand dunes, white puffy sand, crystal blue water, and great parking.
MoreOne of the best beach club i ve ever been. Even if it was not open hour, yet, the owner let us get a coffee on the sunny side of the outer yard. The place is really astonishing and beautiful. Really suggested on your way from Troia to Sines pr opposite. Service is perfect. Lovely place.
MoreFriendly and accommodating staff for the disabled. Big and popular beach, plenty of space for everybody. Pricy food/drinks. Small boardwalk.
MoreMiles of golden sandy beach, whats not to love. Its not developed apart from at the peninsula which also is where it gets busiest due to the water being calmer, go prepared if your not staying near the 2 restaurants( that dont serve you drinks unless your eating).
MoreSunny early March day of 17° C , offshore breeze with small swell with occasional shoulder height wave on a sandbar.
MoreBeautiful, seemingly endless beach to the north and south. With forests in the background make this beach very remote from civilization. Also good for surfing. Has a few restaurants and bars near the main parking entrance. In low season it is very quiet and relaxing. Great to watch the sunset. The beach offers enough space for privacy due to its size.
MoreFantastic 😊 Like to be in California: white sand long and wide beach, some two restaurants, beautiful ocean view, calm and relaxing place.
MoreMassive beautiful beach. Throughout summer paid parking,in the winter not. One way access. Has 1 bar and one beach restaurant.Lovely for sunset
MoreSuch a beautiful beach with crystal clear water and white sand for miles. The beach restaurants are very expensive compared with elsewhere in Portugal. We went there to surf because reviews said it was good for beginner/intermediate but the beach was a bit of a shelf and the waves barely broke except right on the shore. Its definitely more of a lounging around with a book sort of coast.
MoreAmazing beach. Please be aware of the mosquitoes. You need to leave the beach before sunset, otherwise there will be a lot of mosquitoes, black and big, which will probably bite you. Bring repellent with you just in case. Other than that, the beach is a delight.
MoreVery nice and clean beaches ... mind the weekend! Too crowded during these days.
Beautiful beach! There are kilometers to walk not only in the sand but also in the nice dunes. The temperature of the water was really nice.It is a great place to enjoy a beach day without being packed of people.
MoreAmazing beach. Very clean sand. The water is blue and beach support ( parking, bars and acessare very well prepare
MoreAn impressive sandy beach to chill and lay back but don’t expect to go for a long swim as the ocean is pretty wavy! Parking can be very challenging too !
MoreAmazing beach! The way to reach it is not the easy one, but when you get there is heaven on hearth! Quiet and smooth, just as I like it.
MoreExcelente. Nice restaurante besid etge beach. Clean and safe
Spectacular beach from which you can see the dimension of more than 60 kilometers of beach, in some areas there is no one, so it’s perfect to be alone in the sand, the beach is surrounded by impressive dunes, white sand and crystal clear water. It is one of the beaches with more services than we have seen in Portugal, has three beach bars, lifeguards, showers, foot washing area, Balinese bed rental, etc
MoreGood beach. Clean and not too cloudy. Parking and good restaurants available. Periodically families of dolphins swim by the beach as can be seen in my videos. Photos of restaurant also sttsched
MoreGreat place for pictures. Amaising beach and sand. The big problem is the water which is freezing cold whole year round August go seldom to 20 degree ceslsius). The prices around (on the expensive sideadd to that big inconvenience
MoreBeautiful beach nearby Troia peninsula. Well served with facilities, such as restaurant, cafeteria, restrooms, showers, parking. Nice place to rest and enjoy the landscape, as well as the sea, with turmaline blue waters. Remember: open sea beach, be careful
MoreAmazing beach with clean water, a lot of space and the water was the warmest one that I tried in Portugal, but I dont know if its always like this. Anyways, its a great place to visit with family and/or friends.
MoreBeautiful beach. Out of season so was not crowded. Spotlessly clean with recycling bins and information everywhere. Lovely food in restaurant but a bit expensive in my opinion.
