The owner ist a nice Guy...food value for Money...you should Order Pasta with botargo and caprese salad

A friend who lives in Florence had recommended this place to us. Between two people we shared mixed crostone (yummy!a bottle of Sangiovese, 1.3 kg of bistecca alla fiorentina (best meat in Florence!with 2 sides, the potatoes were extra delicious. The quality of all the ingredients was top notch, the service was fabulous and friendly and we had a superb evening here. If we hadnt been so full from the dinner Id have tried dessert but coffee was also a good choice, they serve it in a mocca 💚

WORDS CANT DESCRIBE THIS PLACE. The experience, the quality, the service, the atmosphere, they went above and beyond too create a traditional experience of dishes for my wife and I. Weve had numerous high end steaks and the Florentine steak is by far the best steak I have ever had in my entire life. EVERYONE should come here if you want too eat at the best restaurant in Italy!

Delicious. The service is very good, the people are nice and the food are delicious. It’s a good option if you want to eat different from pasta dishes even though they also have them.

A family atmosphere immediately off a charming park. Tonight I am the only non Italian speaker, I dont think they even have an English menu. The food was excellent and the service quick. The staff outside were attentive and kissing babies and talking trash with locals about the football Im pretty happy I came and I look forward to coming back.I wish they had draft beer but they have this Menabrea as their only beer and the server told me I didnt have to pay for it if it wasnt better than anything I can get in Germany. I paid for that beer.I look forward to bringing back my 3 year old daughter when I next come. I think its a great place to take kids and then you can run them out at the park in the middle if theyre being jerks.Lastly theres this sharing meat plate for like 35 euros and its sausage, pork loin, a steak and chicken cooked under a brick. I gasped when I saw it. Im coming back for you meat plate. Im coming back.Really in closing - theres a sorbetteria next door.Ok Im really done. A 3 euro cover seems excessive.

Had enough pasta and pizza, go here for a great change of pace. Ribs,steak, sausage and chicken grilled to perfection. Oltarno area is great not so busy, after the meal the best gelato shop is by the river. LaCarraia.

Very impressed not only by the delicious food but the hospitality and the warm welcome we got from the owner and his staff! Very friendly to tourists & locals. Went above and beyond to help us with any questions we had. The owner even called the taxi place to help us book a ride for when we leave for the airport on Monday. The pasta we ordered was very good!! You must go here! cant recommend it enough!

The best meal in Florence. Immediately you smell the wood fired smoking meats! The boar tagliatelle is the best here. We returned twice on our trip. Highly recommended.

Very good staff and food is different, but special.

The steak was excellent. 5 stars, but everything else was 3 stars. The side salad was just a bowl of lettuce, so I asked for some tomatos, which they added, but it was still very average. The steak was served on a large piece of toast which Ive never seen before and didnt want. The side of spinach was tasty but the harder veins in the spinach should have been removed before cooking.So, it was very rustic and they are very pleasant, but I cant give them 5 stars.Sorry.

I wasnt impressed by this place, especially not after reading some of the reviews and my friends at home who had recommended it. Slow service, food arrived cold and I had to ask so many times for drinks. Even the bill took an extra 15 minutes to arrive. I wouldnt go back.

These guys are really great! Have eaten here twice and in both occasions, Ive loved my lunches, roast beef with roast potatoes, then spatchcocked chicken with spicy spinach. Recommended!

Food was really good, waiter was great with helpful translation of menu. Outside seating, no air conditioning inside. Lovely breeze. Only complaint, when food arrived, flies came. We were swatting at them the whole time we were eating. Restaurant is across from a park, so it just cant be helped. But food was worth the bother. Bbq was excellent.

We really enjoyed our meal here, it was recommended by our air bnb host. Menus are not in english but staff went through each item to make sure we knew the options before we ordered.

Awesome Food. We had the mixed plate of crostinis and the grilled plate for two persons - which was almost too much. Nevertheless the food was excellenct. Beautifully grilled to medium rare. Awesome taste of open fire, since they use a charocal grill.I would give 4.5 Stars. Since the water bottle costs 2€ and the salad which was served to the grill plate costs 4€. Worth it and delicious, but it wasn‘t written anywhere.Overall definitely a nice location and highly recommended.

A local recommended us this place for the steak. Best place to get the bistecca alla fiorentina. Absolutely delicious. The wine was super good as well! The waiter was nice, he doesnt like picky tourists! Once he realises youre there to eat proper Italian food and not chicken nuggets, youll be fine. Lovely terrace, we recommend it.

Anything you eat here is great. Ask for Simone he is amazing and funny.! He will help you make a decision, and he speaks English.! Everyone there is also nice.!

Bistecca Fiorentina in Florence this is the place to be my favourite place and you will never forget the pasta as well. A red wine to the food is obvious.

Wonderful neighborhood gem. Serious grill masters. We ordered the chicken involtini, fagioli, bruschetta, and some buttered noodles for the kids as well as penne with tomatoes for the kids. Everything was delicious, maybe the best meal we had in the city. The owner brought me a crostini toscano on the house as he saw me consider it and not get it. Amazing. This place is great fort kids too; they had a ton of markers for the kids to doodle on thier placemats. Huge win.

Potatoes were so dry that I chocked... Steak was cooked well and flavourful but was 50% fat. Creme Brule was also a disappointment... I would have complained if I wasnt with a guest... Not worth it, also very expensive.

Great food, great service! If you stay in Florence please eat here its a wonderful experience and you are treated very well. Our waiters were very attentive and made sure we understood everything we ordered and were extremely pleasant, like talking to old friends. Top place!

The food is okay. It is not what you would think a BBQ is but the roast beef was decent. The service is atrocious. The waiter did not come out to see us for 15 minutes and when I went to find him, he was annoyed that I asked to see the menu. The staff acted as if I was an inconvenience rather than a customer. I would not reccomend this "BBQ."
