Bazaar International Market - Asian Grocery Shop in Corvallis, United States
They have all kinds of spices, especially for middle eastern cooking. Its a cool place.
Full of great Asian & Middle Eastern products!
My favorite market. Must go for spices!
Such an awesome shop filled with a variety of different foods. Cannot wait to go again
Nice little international store however the restaurant is gone
Some unexpected food. Nice.
Very fun international shopping experience. Took my 11 year old and went nuts. We bought candy and snacks shes seen in social media but never in person. Very enjoyable afternoon.
Incredible selection of spices from around the world. Many unique grocery items that you cannot find anyplace else in town.
Best place to go to find things worth trying and the most unique candies and treats. Love this store.
They have some variety but more like a cramped convenience store
They have a wide😘 selection of goodies, both oriental and middle east fare. Good fair prices. Staff very friendly 👍and helpful👌. They have another section devoted to clothes and other items. But there is a hidden gem💖. They also serve middle eastern food worth mentioning. They use to have a dine in area where the clothes are now at. But thanks to covid😷, they had to close this area😩. I loved it💗, my fav beef kebab with yellow rice. Back then it was only $13.95 for this dish. Last I checked they were still serving food. You just had to order it at the counter. They still have the menu at the top. So good. Yummy. 😋😋😍
I called their telephone number and the owner informed me that they closed the restaurant in March.
I visit the Bazaar at least a couple of times a week. Its taken the place of 7-11 as my go to corner store. No cigarettes or alcohol here though. They have the best prices on kratom in Corvallis and an affordable selection of vapes though. They also keep a large and always changing variety of fun candies that are also toys or have collectable containers that my son really enjoys. The employees are what make this place shine though, theyre all delightful and are the reason I will go out of my way to shop here.
You can find fresh halal meet (chicken, beef and sausageand many other things like various spices
anyways not a muslim place BY FAR . Im very skeptical about their so-called halal foods. Ive bought out dated chips and drinks from them before i dont wanna make a issue about it but tonight i brought back some frozen dinners that were opened and the feed inside was all ruined and i told the clerk and owner but they acted very strange and didnt want to honor the bad products they sold me saying this is a small business we cant afford to return it rancid food they sold and then would not return it i wanted the same thing so even swap bit they would not let me buy anything else the clerk was shaking! and the middle eastern man was cutting me with his eyes. All over rancid food they sold me and i shouldve been allowed to return. There is something fishy about that place after two years of shopping there i want go back.
They are closing down the restaurant, why in that F I dont know maybe its not really halal or maybe the original cook quite, last few times the rice taste like a metal pot , I use to love this place but its not what it use to be, its like a hipster kid store now maybe thats where the money is
They have a lot of spices and a great selection of teas. Halal meat and chicken are a good price especially with the good customer service..Always helpful..
The chicken shawarma and beef kabob were amazing. Get the hot sauce!. The store looks great too and Ill be back for when Im cooking lamb shanks and babaganoush.
You’ll find almost anything you’re looking for here. Super diverse inventory, and definitely worth trying their hot foods.
Interesting little International market if you are not Middle Eastern you will probably think the selection of food is odd to say the least wonderful selection of nicotine sof nicotine salt for vaping nice nice selection on drinks especially energy drinks and and I believe there is a little clothing section for is tection for value priced clothing sauce Im numb saw some knock off gear didnt really laugh look into it that much but just to be aware
Absolutely love this market! the fresh food in the back is amazing ! I get a hummus plate once a week. The market has a lot of fun foods to try and candies. 10/10 recommend
one of my favorite places ever, Im an expat from the UK who has lived here close to 20 years, not only can I get my old treats like jaffa cakes, hob knob cookies, and all kinds of other exotic stuff, the staff have always been super friendly and awesome, they have a great selection of vaping materials for people who like that probably the best in Corvallis, they have great food also my friend and I would often meet for a Turkish coffee, Im thankful that they have been here so long I now live 30 miles from the store but visit it at least once a week and its always something I look forward to
It go to place for osu students for middle eastern food. Also there is grocery store with the restaurant which sells all sorts of middle eastern and South Asian spices plus halal meats for all needs.
I only gave 1 star because I couldnt give zero... this store sells vapes to 16 yr old kids...I personally watched it, walked up to the counter after the purchase and said something, and called them to let them know that my son had just walked in and bought a vape from their store ( I was pretty upset), which they obviously denied.....parents beware....
We were on a road trip and just stopped by, but everything about this place: the grocery, the boutique, and the restaurant were all gems! The happiest an impulsive stop has made me! I love my cow print shorts!!
They have good food and authentic taste. I am in love with their Lamb Dum Biryani. Also, I liked their dosa. Big and crispy!
Amazing selection of items from around the world. Very friendly staff and adjacent artisan goods made from home. Worth a trip to if you are in the Corvallis area.
Absolutely delicious. The quality is what you would expect from one of the best restaurants in a big city but its right here in Corvallis. Id eat here everyday if I could.
All kinds of Middle Eastern/Indian foods/ condiments/ spices. Even has a Lebanese restaurant in the rear of the store. Going back for a chicken Shawarma wrap! Mmmmm...
This place sells you things that you cant find in Winco or Fred Myers. The restaurant is amazing and their market is even better.FYI, if you ever want to buy steak, buy from this place because there steak is the freshest in Corvallis.
I love getting my ingredients at this place whenever I want to cook Arabic or Lebanese recipes. Also best lamb in town!! I highly recommend it! Everybody is nice and they like to answer questions. 😎
This is great place with a lot of selections of different foods, from East, South, and Southwest Asia, all at reasonable prices. It also has an awesome selection of tea!
Love it here!! Their food is delish. Also me and my mother shop here for meats and other high quality ingredients and food stuffs. HIGH QUALITY! Farm to table quality. Literally haha. The lovely people who own the place have their own farm, and so their meats are fresh as can be!! No preservatives antibiotics or hormones! Just the way it should be!! I would love to go meet their owner someday and see if I can barter a deal with the them for a whole lamb for a family celebration if possible :Love this place! 10 outta 10
A great place for a quick, affordable, casual lunch/dinner and a bit of convenient shopping. The market up front offers a wide variety of international foods from the Middle East, Asia, and even some Balkan treats. No fresh produce to speak of but a lot of canned/shelf-stable Staples. In back, there is a small restaurant which offers a couple quick and tasty mid-eastern meals. The dinner plates are very large, certainly enough to serve two people and the wraps are always filled to the brim. Make sure to get extra hot sauce and Tahini!
Great little Asian market, especially if youre in the market for middle eastern food. As far as Asian markets go, jong Kong has a much larger selection of food, produce, ramen, and tea. The bazaar does include some vapes and nicotine products as well
Good variety. I am new to Corvallis and have been looking for halal meat (cooked and uncookedplaces. This is the best place I have found so far.The store is very congested though.
Pretty good. Cant compete with similar places in bigger towns in terms of the breadth of selection, but that is unavoidable. I do find myself preferring dedicated Indian stores for some items such as ghee--I wasnt able to find pure butter ghee here, but I do find it there. But for Middle Eastern/Eastern Mediterranean stuff, this is a good place to go.
I like this place a lot of god stuff from Middle East but pricey in comparison. To other stores in the state. How ever there roasted chicken with Kansa rice is amazing :)
Love the food! I will be honest, havent looked at the market very much but the food is my go to. I do wish they had a few more things on the menu for variety but in this area I will take what I can get :)
Great place to shop for middle-eastern and other international ingredients. The staff are friendly and helpful and the store is surprisingly well-stocked considering it isn’t very big. Check it out for yourself! You won’t regret it (and pick up a pita wrap at the restaurant while you’re at it).
I love this place. The owner and the guys who work here are all so friendly and helpful. I come here often and they always remember me and make me feel comfortable. Couldnt say enough good things about this store and restaurant!!!
Lots to choose from, interesting variety, friendly, knowledgeable staff.
It is a treasure trove of exciting ethnic flavors. They have amazing food on the restaurant side and in the market side you can find many so many great foods. Everything from mint chutney to Persian pickles to candies from around the globe. I cant go in the place without spending money and having a fun time.
Very fresh goat meat 🥩They bring them fresh on Thursday.
An unexpected gem on a busy road. Its a unique market with offerings sure to show you something you have not seen before. If so, bravo, you have seen a lot.The best part is the restaurant, great value for the cost. Attentive and professional service and amazing plates. You can do to-go or eat in and we needed a break from the road so we ate in. Try both styles of rice, the tzatziki is great with all the dishes. We had the lamb and chicken plates and could hardly stop eating them.Very interesting selection of virgin international beverages, we had a lemonade and a Japanese fruit drink.
Stellar service and a good selection of groceries for mediterranean cooking. Spices, several types of rice, beans, peas, veg, canned/dried/frozen foods. Cheeses and yogurts as well as a range of juice and soda. No alcohol. An entire aisle of biscuits and sweets, another for tea, tons of pickles. This store is very willing to find what you need. Halal food IS Halal. Frozen snacks are tasty and this is attached to a restaurant with superb coffee.
This is by far my favorite store! They always have interesting things to browse through, and olives and truly an International market by far. The restaurant inside is a great place to visit. The bread is truly my favorite, as I am probably stick on middle eastern bread by far, fresh, and frozen to take home. The meat is awesome! And really, where else can you find things from around the world?
Excellent food and excellent price. Very clean. Fast service.
I love the market - I always find exactly what I need and then some. The whole and ground spices are super reasonable, and the snack isle is the best. The gentlemen who work there are always helpful and friendly too.
I dont know about the restaurant there (although Id like to try it), but the market is really cool! They have treats, drinks, seasonings, and other food items from all over the world! Their prices are pretty reasonable as well. Its pretty small and cramped in there, but shelves are well-stocked and they rotate out and in different products fairly frequently, according to the staff. The staff are really nice and helpful. Definitely give them a visit if you enjoy trying new things. Also, they apparently have another store with some different items on the OSU campus, but I havent checked that out yet.
