In a commercial district off I-295, this informal all-suite hotel is 1 mile from Fort Lee and 2 miles from the U.S. Army Quartermaster Museum.Unfussy suites provide free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and desks with ergonomic chairs, as well as separate living areas that have sofas. All provide microwaves, minifridges and coffeemakers, and some suites also feature balconies. Kids stay at no charge with an adult, and room service is available.Parking and continental breakfast are complimentary. There's also an on-site restaurant, a lounge and an outdoor pool, plus a sauna, a gym and a business center. A local shuttle is also offered.
Called to see if I would be able to check in a little earlier as I was driving quite a bit to get there and I was told I had to check in at three. When we went to check in the room was not available so we ended up not getting in until about 330. The room itself is nice and spacious with a little kitchenette. The hotel reeks of smoke although its supposed to be non-smoking. We were on the fourth floor close to the elevator and its very loud in the hallways. I was traveling with my dog so all of the loud traffic coming in and out of the elevator had her barking all night long. Very close to the road so you hear all of the traffic throughout the night. I would write this about a 2/5
The rooms are very nice and clean enough for this level of hotel. I mean room was pretty clean itsjust some of the details like baseboards, tv screen, etc. But i can walk barefoot on the floor and that says a lot. Staff have been awesome and breakfast is actually good. I really have no complaints except that the pool is closed. I got a great price as well. Definitely search online before booking.
The whole hotel smells funky. The fixtures are in need of replacement. The enamel on the tub is worn away, the bed was saggy, the hair dryer looked like a fire hazard. There were greasy hand prints on the head board and the AC unit leaked a pool of water and didnt work well. Only two towels in the room for a multi-night stay, and when we went to ask for more at night they were out. The elevator inspection expired April 2022. At breakfast they were out of juice and coffee, but they did have bacon, eggs, cereal, waffles etc. The customer service was good and the staff were friendly.
Staff was awesome. Female GM extremely rude ,inconsiderate, no empathy to situations for those with disabilities, mistreatment never experienced in my life, and very discriminatory after spending $400. The staff was awesome but mistreated me and my family to highest level.I never been treated that badly in my life at a hotel likr. You serve your country and get retired from military to realize nothing makes difference. Huge disappointment.
Smelled like weed and cigarette smoke. There wasn’t a latch on the door and there wasn’t a stopper in the tub. I felt like the “no smoking signs” were a joke to everyone. I was slightly expecting my car to be broken into the night I stayed there
Angry , hateful manager. No matter how polite you are.. they also spray lots of insecticides on the carpets. My dog died after 2 visits. The lady seems to be suffering from severe anger management issues as well as mental illness. Im the grandson of former Hopewell PD officer and this is disgraceful. Please send complaints to Wyndam hotels. Otherwise these clowns may ignore you...especially the bafoon incharge
Bed frame was broken and the bed was uneven, only had 2 towels and the front desk ran out of clean ones, night stand drawer was broken, ice machine was broken, didn’t even have bottled water you could purchase. Ordered dinner from Jimmys and their was a hair in the shrimp. Aaron at the front desk was very pleasent and the reason I gave a better score on service, but the rest of the stay was very poor.
The staff and management were very courteous and friendly during my stay here. The only issue I encountered here was the leaking A/C unit, which could be due to condensation from the high humidity in the area. To servicemembers PCSing to Fort Lee, I highly recommend this hotel for temporary lodging. To servicemembers coming to Fort Lee for NCO School or Captains Career Course, I highly recommend this hotel for your stay as it has a lot of amenities nearby...not to mention, Destination Church/Movie Theater are right next to the hotel. And you have Southpark Mall, which is only a 10 minute drive away from the hotel!
So dirty smells a lot of weeds. They did not clean the bathroom; I had never been to a dirty hotel like this. We stayed because it was midnight and we had two babies. Worst dirties hotel ever.
Went here fairly recently back and was not impressed.Showers and toilet was tiny, couldnt even stand properly. The "hot breakfast" is barely a few pieces of bread, a waffle maker with batter that sits out for hours, and some packeted oatmeal. The pool was out of commission until *next year.*The chair that went to the desk was torn to shreds.Found several giant roaches, about 1.5-2 inches in length.Worst of all, a certain employee was extremely rude.
Wow.Frankly I am shocked by the negative reviews posted here everything was as in photos very clean staff was very friendly. Most accurate advertising as I’ve ever experienced in a hotel. This will be my first choice if I return to the area.
The first room I had smelled like an animal had been living in it. The second room was filthy, I had to purchase cleaning products to clean the tables, bathroom and floors which were sticky. Had hair under the sheets when they were finally pulled back to spray down, yellow stains on the box spring, stains on the covers. I asked for new sheets and had to put them on myself because they didn’t have housekeeping. There was no phone in the room, the pool was shut down (which I had no clue about until check in). There was a pile of trash left by the elevator (which the inspection certificate was expired on 4/2022), and to make matters worse the room also has roaches. Needless to say I did not stay in the room after seeing the roaches. And to make matters worse I was charged a second time even tho I prepaid for the rooms. If I could give ZERO stars I would. I was in town to mourn the loss of grandmother and that was exasperated by this horrible experience. I was told to contact the manager the next day only to be told I couldn’t speak to her regarding my refund until TUESDAY!!! The absolute WORST hotel and service.
Reserved a room for myself and my daughter. Reserved especially because they offered a pool amenity. Thought it would be great to see my son at Tech School on Fort Lee and have him and the family have some R&R at the pool. Didnt find out the pool was closed until we drove 7 hours and arrived at the hotel. There was someone painting the hallways so it reeked like paint. Woke up to have breakfast that was included. There was hardly anything there. I saw one yogurt, one orange and a waffle maker. Was quoted a certain amount and then they had the nerve to tag in an extra $10. High disappointed.
