Bay Vietnamese Chinese & Thai Takeaway - Chinese Takeaway in Batemans Bay, Australia
Good atmosphere, food is eatble but nothing to come back to.
Ridiculous service and horrible food quality
Food is good but service is absolute garbage. Took over an hour for our food to come.
We had tea set. Quality food and service. Very nice dining atmosphere with beautiful painting. Value for money.
Outstanding Vietnamese restaurant.Food might not be the top tier but still close to top tier, but the environment and service is superb.
A secret little eat out place upstairs that offers plenty of good food and value for money.
nice afternoon tea set with Vietnamese food
Lunch with friend in CWB, want a quieter less busy place, so I picked Ann Nam vietnamese. Nice entrance, decor and tranquil, service was good, ordered a set lunch for 2, wow…… so much food! Bottle of S. Africa chardonnay, rich and robust, but not like Aus., quite nice. I have to saw this is a hidden gem in CWB, chic location, nicely decorated, soft approach services, tasty vietnamese cuisine, reasonably priced wine, good place, I will return
LOVE love love their signature pad thai ! Its a must try dish! 🥗 The Fried fish was yummy and light, not greasy at all👍 The curry chicken was average. But everything else was excellent, service and atmosphere too 😛🙏
Just had lunch in their CWB branch, ordered a bánh hoi with bò lá lot, beef tasted very weird and not like the one in Vietnam. Same for the beef salad and bò bún that my colleague took, the beef is thick, seems deep fry and super sweet. Service is not good for a restaurant that pretend to be fine dining. Atmosphere is nice though, only positive note. Very disappointed.
One of cool fine dining. Place, service, everything is good. also enjoy nice food with promotion event.
This Vietnamese restaurant at Lee Gardens 2 is always busy. We tried their new set dinner menu : 2 ppls for 1, good price! The appetizers plate, charcoal grilled pork chop and pho with assorted beef and pandan cakes were all good. The disappointment was the french baguette with curry lobster. The lobster was too soft and tasteless. You felt that it was not that fresh. We came back and ordered a la Carrie, all dishes are okay. Anyway, the service was good and the price was reasonable.
This classy Vietnamese restaurant is hidden discreetly on the 4/F of the equally discrete Lee Garden One mall. Both decoration, service & food are of high standard, notably better than its sister store in Festival Walk IMHO. Great place for a quiet meal in the bustling CWB.
Very good service and food quality. Will back again👍🏼👍🏼
2021.05.17 Afternoon Tea. Ordered tea set. Value for money. Nice setting. Good service and cozy environment. Comfortable. Portion is just right and delicious.
We had a delicious time on the terrace. We came across this restaurant quite by accident. Nice terrace, nice decor.I am Vietnamese and I am very demanding in terms of food.I was delighted to find some flavors of my childhood. The food is delicious, tasty and creative.I highly recommend the fried rice chicken liver: a pure taste wonder. And the must at the end of the meal, a real Vietnamese coffee! Cant wait to come back. An address not to be missed !
Nicely decor Vietnamese restaurant in Causeway Bay. My friend and me try their special lunch set menu which turns to be a very good choice: 2 ppl for 1 price! Since I cant eat beef and so I have passed one of the appetizer roast beef skewer to my friend. I especially like their soup noodles with chicken and sprouts. it is sooo sweet! The big head prawn is also very good. The only disappointment is the french bread which comes w the prawn are not hot-warm. Well, their staff services do gains lots of marks - they are all very nice and serve us well. No need wait long to get a spare bowl or spoon. My friend and me both enjoy a lovely time.
My favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Hong Kong. Spring roll is deeeelish!! and the grill pork is toooo good. noodle soup broth is just alright.
The iced coffee and fried veggie were better than expected. I would give 3.5-4 stars. However the noodle soup, environment and service were not up to standard. About 2.5 stars.
Just had dinner here with my husband. atmosphere and decor superb, food delicious in general. However, the manager was rather rude.
Best Vietnamese restaurant ever :)Although pricey, I think this is one of the best Vietnamese restaurants I’ve ever dined at. Each dish was so delicious and flavourful, I love that they give you a plate of fish sauce that compliments every dish so well. I love 1975 group restaurants!
This is an upmarket Vietnamese restaurant with great interior setting. Food might not be that authentic but generally good except for the mixed beef pho of which the soup was not that fragrant & rich. We were not served with the lime, chilli to go with the pho until we asked for it & this was not good. This $150 pho was simply not worth it. It used to be expensive & overpriced until they introduced the 2 for 1 discounted set meals which were good value.
absolutely no service, rude wait staff and mediocre food. Made a reservation for 2 and was given a tiny table even though there were lots of free tables left. The auxiliary waiters that cleaned the table were nice, but the senior waiter, a man that took our food order was rude and unfriendly, you get better service from the local cha chaan ting. Total bill $750+ for lunch for 2 was definitely not worth it, better to go to Nha Trang than this place. Avoid at all cost !
Great food and service. All the food was made to perfection and you can tell they use good quality and fresh ingredients. But the price is on the higher end. My personal favourite was the soft shelled crab rice paper roll.
Very nice , quiet and cozy environment. The beef pho is so good! The broth is clear but rich in flavor! That’s the best that I had so far! The pho noodle is soft and smooth, however the raw beef had already cooked, so the texture isn’t that smooth, but it is still ok.And I also try the dessert, mango crepe with coconut icecream. The crepe is ok, and mango is fresh and sour, together with the home made coconut icecream, what a match! The coconut icecream is really creamy and tasty! Next time or I just simply go coconut icecream. Yummy!
Grilled chicken wings spiced with garlic flakes and prawn meat wrapped around coriander are nice. These are must trysThe curry served in the restaurant are also strongly recommended. You will love the ambience and serenity of the restaurant in Lee Gardens.
Best fried Vietnamese noodleWeekdays lunch specials are also great.Pho Ga is one of my favorites at the place
Excellent and thoughtful service - the waitress was trying to introduce us a better promotion deal with many options. We couldnt finished the food and had to take away the dessert, they asked when we will eat it then we told them maybe tomorrow then they prepared the dessert and the dressings in a separate box to ensure it will taste good.Food is good quality, we had a set dinner from their 6th-anniversary promotion offering. It was a decent dinner set menu with soup, seafood, meat, vegetables and dessert. The environment is nice, suitable for big group, small group or just couples.
Food was good keep in standardService was friendly.
Great service and good at frying things (eg chicken wings, skins for their seafood dumpling 福袋but otherwise quite mediocre for this price point.
A reliable place for a good Vietnamese meal.Summer rolls and always good, and I am a big fan of their Bun Cha.Large on the inside and able to cater for big groups. This is a good place to have a party or gathering.
An Nam regards itself as a high quality French-Vietnam cuisine. Although the atmosphere and ingredients are in the good quality range, the taste certainly didn’t reach the equivalent price they’re charging. One can find a much more satisfying Vietnam restaurant else where. An nam is still nice but I probably won’t visit again.
Clean and comfortable environment. The staff were also great too. Food was served relatively fast and was delicious. I would recommend this restaurants for parties bigger than 4 as the portions are as friendly for smaller parties. Highly recommend their tamarind crab.
Reasonable food but the staff attitude was awful. One waitress walked off mid sentence, another topped up two glasses at the table then gave up. Sad that its let itself down as otherwise the experience is good but poor service really irritates people and turns a nice experience into an unpleasant one.
Ok food and very nice ambient and decor. Prices a tad high. We were seated in a box first which was super cozy, but then moved because apparently someone else needed the box - quite disappointing experience
Wouldnt come back. Mediocre Vietnamese food made worse by the staff.Ordered shrimp rice paper roll dish and vegetable dish, neither of which states it contains peanuts in the menu. The shrimp rice paper roll dish arrives with peanuts embedded. Asked waitress to change due to peanut allergy. Waitress was very defensive and asserted that I should be the one to inform them of the peanut allergy before ordering and insisted it was not the restaurants fault (not something the first line of customer service should assert). I pointed to the menu, no mention of peanuts. The waitress backed off her argument and agreed to change the shrimp rice roll to without peanuts.Second waiter comes by quickly and said that the vegetable dish may contain peanut sauce and offered to change it to a garlic based version. Then he briefly mentions again we should inform them of peanut allergy before ordering. Again, told him there was no mention of peanuts in the menu. The new dishes arrived. I was about to think... Fine, they changed the dishes so I will add a star back to the rating. Then comes a manager who lectures us that we should inform all restaurants of peanut allergy before ordering. Rather than giving the manager a lesson in tort, I said I would not have anticipated there would be peanuts if the menu does not mention it at all.No apologies was given by the manager or any staff. A mediocre meal ruined.
Lovely restaurant, a bit fancier than your usual Vietnamese pho place. Service is very good.Loved the pork neck, coconut duck curry and shrimp fried rice. Loads of flavour and the right amount of heat. It’s definitely a bit pricier than your average Vietnamese restaurant though. (roughly $350 per person, but this was with starters and mains - no wine or dessert).Would happily go again.
A delicious viet place that is much more upscale than the usual. Service here is very professional and the atmosphere is a cozy, low lit type of warm. As nice of an interior, the food does match it. It is mpre of a sharing plate type of place although not large plates either. Food tastes very good and clean. although it is good, the price cant justify frequent visits on my terms.
nice afternoon tea set and good place to enjoy food in the hustle and bustle
Very expensive and the food is not authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Our spring rolls are burnt when they serve us the dish and they dont even care. That dish alone is $118.
Everything was fine except the most important thing... the pho. The broth was bland, the bowl didnt have green or white onions, the noodles were overdone, no bean sprouts, and it had some sort of potato in it. We received a few scant leaves of basil and no jalepenos, which were replaced with a red pepper. I had to ask for sriracha and hoisin sauce. And when we received it, it was only enough for one dish and not for three that we ordered. Not even taking into consideration the small portion or cost, it ranked easily as the worst pho Ive eaten. We did eat the papaya salad and abalone with pork belly, which were fine. Steer clear of the pho.
Beautiful interior but mediocre food and meh service. Went here because of it being mentioned in the Tattler but I dont know how it got on that list. The dining space is very nice and furniture, decor and especially tableware is pretty. Food was alright but not justifying the price. Pho bo was pretty good but nothing out of the ordinary. The fried rice was quite dry and with dry bits of chicken although presentation was nice. We ordered drinks and one arrived and we had to ask about the other after several minutes of waiting for the other. Then we were told they had run of ingredients and asked what else we wanted, just ridiculous! This is a place for local business people or more wealthy socialite women to enjoy lunch. If youre visiting and looking for good food its not the right place.
A very decent decorated Vietnamese Restaurant with excellent location in Causeway Bay!Wonderful food esp. the mango papaya salad!! Most of the food ordered are above standard while surprisingly one stick of chicken satay still a bit raw inside.....Pricy one but worth to try again & again for more food.Would be good if they could reserve the sofa seat for me next time.
Very good location with very nice decoration. The gods is good and the has a good taste, good vine chart. The waitress are bit slow. For the rest we enjoy a lot.
Ive been wanting to come here for months now. I ordered 3 dishes and everything was tasty and well balanced in flavor. The service was pretty good too. I didnt have much time to chat, so I was just in and out. Next time I come here, I will spend more time to enjoy my meal. I just wanted to leave a review and share that everything was really good, service was great, and for the price? You cant beat this. Its a nice place to have business meetings, bring your family, a date, friends. Ill be sure to come back!
Excellent food, very quite atmosphere (there are many tables but just very few people), pleasant decor.Mall restaurants in HK are very good quality and sometimes far from the crowd.Perfect choice for a good meal and a peaceful environment.
Pretty nice, quite the atmosphere, great for some quiet time and some quality food with friends and family.
Trendy ambiance, big interior dining room, a good default option when looking for quality Vietnamese on a popular day. There is a fusion touch to the menu, especially to some of the appetisers such as the shrimp crouton "cracker" and lotus roots salad. Coconut duck curry is on the mild side, would suggest choosing a spicier curry with more lingering flavour and kick.
Lovely atmosphere around the whole floor. Food delicious though the dressing (fish sauce based with a pomelo salad was overwhelmingly salty.Must try the coconut crab if available
One of my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in HK. Good environment, friendly services, and good food. Price is on the higher side for Vietnamese food but still reasonabl considering its location and vibe.
