Hiked twice within a couple of weeks. Easy to moderate trail. Seen a few children around 8yrs old along the hike.Really nice views of the ocean. Trail to lighthouse was well maintained and had signage. Lighthouse is nice looking but has a bit of damage and litter in the area of the lighthouse.I dont recommend to people who are seriously afraid of heights as theres areas that youre shortly walking along a cliffs edge. My mother who is afraid of heights had to turn around off the trail.

Beautiful hike out to this scenic spot. Great area for picnic. Absolutely stunning in the fall (Late September to early Octoberas the ferns turn a beautiful orange.

Visiting the lighthouse is worth the trip, whether you are doing the entire Spout Path Trail (approx 8 hoursor just doing an out and back to the lighthouse from Bay Bulls (approx 3 hours round trip). The trail consists of sections protected by trees, as well as more exposed areas closer to the lighthouse. There are some sections that are very close to cliffs, so if you have a dog its worth keeping them leashed.

The #eastcoasttrail brings you directly to this beautiful sight! There is parking available and its not far from St. Johns. We walked in early September and there were loads of blueberries still ripening! Beautiful sights, I just absolutely recommend!!

A beautiful spot on an incredible hike. You can either hike out to the lighthouse from Bay Bulls trailhead or do the whole thing all the way to the Spout, which is an amazing natural wonder. The day I was there every time the water spouted, it created double rainbows. Surreal!

We hiked out and back from Bay Bulls with children aged 9 and 7. A good hike with lots of variation and some great scenery along the way.My only complaint is that theres a fair amount of garbage and broken glass around the lighthouse itself.

This lighthouse is found on the Spout hike portion of the East Coast Trail. You can reach either by doing the entire Spout HIke, which is long and difficult, or by working backwards from Bay Bulls across Useless Bay. The hike is great, with beautiful vistas of the ocean.
