Dont miss this Indian restaurant if youre looking for good foodRecently we visited Aonang and there are lots of options to choose for food so we decided to try out an Indian restaurant I had never been to Bawarchi before. At first I didnt think much of the restaurant because it looked like just another Indian restaurant, but once I sat down and started looking at their menu, I realized that it was anything but just another Indian restaurant!The service at Bawarchi was very prompt and friendly. We were greeted with a smile by the hostess who then seated us in.The menu was more than we could have asked for, including vegetarian dishes as well as meats. They offered authentic cuisine from India and Thai. The variety of spices available to eat with your meal was astounding- from paprika to turmeric to ginger- we couldnt decide what to order!This restaurant has everything from chicken tikka masala to lamb vindaloo. The curries are rich, with plenty of spices, and the naan is so soft it can be torn with your fingers. If youre coming here with someone whos not sure what they want, just order the Tawa dishes --it includes all of the most popular dishes. The prices are surprisingly low given how much we were stuffed after dinner. It would be worth it even if we had paid twice as much!

The owner is soHumble and working with his staff and taking orders and making sure that his each and every customer enjoys the best taste. I would say just perfectAll the very best and I hope when I come back will see chains of it

Had a very bad experience. Un-hygienic. And not recommended. Prefer going to another place called Madras cafe close to this restaurant.

Such delicious Indian food! Some of the best I’ve ever had. Recommend the Jira Rice, the Aloo Ghobi, and the Garlic Naan. Owner was extremely friendly and was very careful about my vegan diet (taking out butter etc.). Do try it!

Excellent food, wonderful service.. 22 people in our group and nothing was too much to ask. They even made food that wasnt on the menu. Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

Friendly staff, one of them spoke very good English. Curry’s we’re delicious and average priced compared to local Indians on the road. Would recommend!

Just stopped in for a cheeky chicken tikka, naan bread, some popadoms and a few cold beers.Great Service, the beers were cold, the food beat my expectations. Will pop in again soon.

Hello Guys, I was on my first time trip to Thailand, I was craving for Indian food, I spoke to the owner we stayed for 3days everyday we had an awesome recipe the panner were too fresh. The owner is friendly and helpful. Me and my wife were more than happy to get the Indian taste.The best ever restaurant i can suggest someone in KRABI.

My wife and I had been craving Indian food since we’ve been out of country for a couple weeks and after doing some research we picked Bawarchi and it sure lived up to the reviews. The staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was really good and they nailed the spice levels for both of us. Highly recommend if you’re in Ao Nang!!

Best Indian food Ive had so far. We were served chilled beers and they kept coming. ( With no wait time and CHILLED GLASS for every Pint!!!Which is highly appreciated. We stayed for 3 days in krabi and this was our regular dine out.Our orders included - French fries, Egg biryani (still drooling), panner chilli, Masala papad and countless chilled beers. They have quite a long menu of Indian cuisine. For all the Indian foodies, please do visit this place when in krabi😀

This is the place to go if you are craving for Indian food! The staff is polite and very helpful with their recommendations. Food quality is authentic indian.This place is in the beginning of the Ao Nang market and easily visible from the main road. Highly Recommended.

Even the restaurant owner was very honest, and he would help you with order placement.My partner is not pizza lover, but even she loved this pizza so much.Keep up the good job mate.

Food was amazing - so delicious - and the waiter was really helpful with our order. Really reasonably priced and we ate loads. The staff were really attentive and had a really nice relationship with all the customers. While we were here one of the waitresses was looking after a baby for a table! Lots of food options - we are vegetarian and there was loads available for us. Highly recommend!

Tried our second Indian restaurant tonight. And wow!We for show to the table and got the menu directly. Both me and my wife knew what we wanted so my wife ordered a madras and I chose the chicken Tikka Masala, both medium in spiciness. We got the drinks right away and the food didnt take long. After a few minutes the waiter came to see if all was ok and my wife said her Madras was a bit to spicey. With our any thought he offers to change.. Thats service with an A+.Took just a few minutes and my wife got a new one in which was perfect!So.. tried 2 different Indian restaurants in Ao Nang and both delivered way over my expectations!If you want good food, just come to Bawarchi and they will set you up with a great meal and excellent service!Thank you and Im sure well eat here again!

The Indian food here is AMAZING! Maybe even the best in Thailand. Staff are very friendly and aware what vegan means and make it very easy to order and are willing to substitute oil for butter. The flavours and spice level were just so good.

Went there with my wife. The staff were very courteous and welcoming which was great.The place was clean and well kept.We ordered a beer, mushroom chicken soup and a Spaghetti in white sauce.The soup was great, my wife loved it !However the spaghetti was NOT upto the mark. The white sauce was just average and the raw spaghetti they used was not the right one...spaghetti is supposed to be thicker and with longer strands.The prices were very reasonable for the ambience of the place.We didnt try the Indian food which is special here, however after seeing the happy faces on other tables of people having indian food, I am assuming it would be great.All in all a recommended place when in Ao nang, Krabi.

Went here on the back of previous posts about service and quality of food. They were all correct. From the moment we went in the welcome and service were the best we have had in AO Nang. Menu explained well and we went with house special of chicken tawar, yellow dahl chicken with spinachAll were fantastic, along with garlic nanHighly recommended.

Had Chile bhature and mango sticky rice. The choke bhature was extremely amazing. Just like we get in India. Highly recommended this place if youre looking for Indian food.

Awesome Indian food.I came here around lunch time, the service was very fast and the food has been delicious.Also easily the best Mango Lassi I ever had.The butter chicken was tender and tasty with a good portion size and very well put together.The cheese naan was fresh out of the oven with a good amount of cheese in it and great tasting as well.The price is normal considering that Indian food always is more pricey than local Thai food.I can recommend this place as it was easily the best Indian food I had in and around Krabi.The staff can also speak good English.

A really 10 star restaurant.Food was amazing... very quick service and very friendly.. if you feel adventurous try the butter chicken curry on a chicken pizza.. out of this world

We ordered the butter chicken and the tawa which were brilliant and probably the best Indian food we’ve had in Thailand. The owner served us and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend.

Awesome INDIAN FOOD in aao nang krabi. The staff and servers are very welcoming. Tawa Paneer recommend by the staff was very very delicious. Highly recommend if you visit aao nang and love indian food.

Once again, I asked the owner SPECIFICALLY "please, please make it spicy, I have spent more than 10 years in India and I can handle it"...Ok so the food was good, but not spicy. He even kept looking over to see if I could handle it and this wasnt even as hot as a "madras" back in the UK. It was good though, so they get 4 stars. The service was so-so, because everyone in the world these days seems to prefer looking at their phones than paying any attention to customers. Sad world we live in.

We found this place by searching "restaurant" on Google. The reviews were great and they really stand for what they say. Food is really good (best Indian food my girlfriend and I had so far on our Thailand trip), great service (the owner and employees were really welcoming and helpfuland the place is very nice as well - keep in mind that you can eat upstairs, they called it the rooftop.The only downside is the price. Compared to what we usually have been paying for food&drinks=500Bahts (for twoand at Bawarchi we payed almost 900Bahts.5 stars with a point of attention on the prince. I recommend for a nice dining.

Nothing too great and quite pricy.Chicken Pad Thai was at the end pricier than what was indicated in front of the restaurant.. Be aware that it is served with tomato sauce.I guess it is good if you are craving Indian food, taste was OK!
