Batobus Tour Eiffel - Boat tour agency in Ivry-sur-Seine, France
The boat was covered on a warm sunny day with cloudy glass. Difficult to see through the windows and most customers were huddled at the small area at the back of the boat to see anything. Very bad value for money. I suggest finding other companies with open boats (and will probably be cheaper).
If you like being in a fish bowl with little oxygen @24-30c its wonderful. Otherwise a horrendous vessel to ride in. Highly unrecommended if you dont like travelling in a glass sauna. stop the ride I want to get off the first dock!!
This boat is usefull "hop on hopp off "sightseeing and not expensive...
A nice way to tour paris. Its a pitty the last departure from Eiffel Tower is at 19:00.
Great trip and great option to see and stop by the sightseeing.
Very nice, only wish they would stay open another two more hours and charge extra.
Caught the Batobus from the Eiffel Tower along the river to Hotel de ville. We stood out on the back of the boat to enjoy the sunshine and views, but there were lots of seats available inside too.I would recommend this as a way to travel across Paris and see some sites on the way. The next time I visit Paris, I will definitely use this service - more fun than Metro or taxi, and only €17 for unlinited journeys all day if tickets are booked in advance via the website.
It’s the second time we take the Batobus in Paris. It’s very convenient to see a lot of major places in 1h. I really like it and I will go again.
There are too little quantity of boards, you must stay and wait more than half of hours for second free ship. It doesnt cost the money you pay.
Very busy but that is to be expected. Nice slow run up Seine. We didnt have the time to enjoy the full trip, but enjoyed the bit we did immensely.
Use it for river tour in Paris.. perfect match for seeing Paris from the river.. you can hop on hop off any station you want, and continue visiting significant areas of Paris, then hop on again continue your trip..
Great concept, fun for kids, but not great for the heat of the summer. There are nice glass walls on the front and sides of the boat that make it great for when the weather is colder or inclement. It traps the heat in during the dead of the summer, prevents the breeze from coming in, and very little to no shade. The boats are clean and run on schedule. Good novelty but the Metro is better for getting around quickly.
Best seine hop on hop off river cruise ever 👏🏼👏🏼 totally worth for money ❤️
Good location and perfect places to hop on and hop off. Liked their boats much better than the other boat tours. We were riding with a local Parisian lady who told me that she also prefers Batobus over the others and bought a pass to ride all the time.
Great way to see Paris. Ideal is to take a boat around 1200 hrs. The service closes at around 1800 hrs. This way you can hop on and off without worrying about pick up by next boat.
Terrible service! They charged me wrong and took way too long to return my money!!! I missed appointments at other attractions because of their incompetence!
An easy way to see the city and hop off wherever takes your interest! Lovely to stand out at the back on a sunny day
Great idea, the price is OK compared to other boats on Seine, however, we experienced two technical difficulties in one day and had to get off twice without wanting to - however, other boats came quick (first, in 2 minutes, then in 10 minutes).
I am still waiting to receive a call from the company, last Friday (june 3, 2022I purchased a ticket and in one of the boats the handrails were freshly painted, with no warning sign. My jacket, t-shirt and bag got stained with white paint. I made my claim at Invalides stop with an employee (Prisciaand left my personal data, she took pictures of the damages, she spoke to her boss who told her to give me a form to fill (which she never found). They never contacted me. Who is going to take care of the damages?
The boat is a great option if you are not a fan of walking but on a hot summer day, stick with walking! These boats are basically greenhouses and even though the windows open, there is surprisingly little airflow. If I were to compare sitting on this boat to other experiences I would have the ones that comes to mind are: a boiler room in Alabama in July, a greenhouse in Ohio in August, a steam sauna in the summer time. The other issue I see is that, while this would be something great to do in a rainy day, none of the boarding areas are covered to protect from rain. My wife and I walked home from the furthest stop and we beat the boat back - they definitely don’t save time as all of these destinations are relatively close.Everything else was great but they should consider providing some sort of forced airflow and also boarding areas protected from rain.
What an awesome and affordable way to tour Paris and get on the Seine!! If you are looking for a great time but not sure if you have time or money for a full river tour, try this!
We took a trip on April 30th and it was a very disappointing experience. When we purchased the tickets, we were told that the boat comes every 20-25 minutes. It was omitted that on Saturdays the boats might be so full that you are not guaranteed a slot on the next boat. While the first trip was fine, exactly that happened to us. We waited for 20 minutes for the next boat and couldn’t enter. What was more frustrating was that we were one of the first in the line waiting and when the boat came everyone just „stormed“ the entry while the crew did not care at all who was first there. We were told in a very unfriendly way that they cannot check who waited how long which in theory is right but they really did not bother at all about this. After that, I went to the ticket station and requested a refund. Again, they did not really care and only explained me that they don‘t do refunds and handed me some card of the management. At the end, were were able to enter the boat again at another station and all in all, this was fine. But nonetheless, I cannot recommend this company which does not care about its customers.
Great way to get around the city if youre not in a rush, nice being able to use your ticket all day long. Very relaxing time on the seine and they take you pretty much directly to landmarks and tourist attractions.
Went there with my family, it was a superb experience. The boat will take you to some of the best places in Paris, including the eiffel Tower, louvre and the Notre Dame. The tickets are well priced (1 Day: €19 for adults, €9 for child (3 - 15 years), 2 Day: €21 for adults, €11 for child (3 - 15 years)). If you are in Paris I would advice using the boat.
Great service. But big queues today.
Great service and value for Money..only problem it didnt indicate on booking which part(numberof the peer for first meeting point..just the main entrance of the port.. causing Abit of confusion at first as we hadnt been there before ..but found right spot after asking around..and seeing the signOverall enjoyed the experience
The experience was phenomenal. A dream come true. From the moment we bought our tickets to the time leaving, the staff was very helpful, & friendly. Such much history to learn from.
I loved this experience. I like the fact that I can get on and off while I visit other places. It was far too relaxing. I fell asleep on a boat full of strangers. So beautiful, useful, and peaceful.
Problem with Batobus is the long waits for a boat and the staff managing the boarding don’t tell you that you may not be able to board. Not enough boats and long delays which make it impractical to use
We opted for this boat tour amongst the sea of others because it offered a hop on hop off style of service, which is very helpful for first timers who especially are intimidated at first by the metro system. You can also opt for a 1 day or 2 day pass, and the rates are fair. We rode the boat for about 1 hour from the Eiffel Tower all the way around to the Louvre; very pleasant and relaxing.
Great way to see the city. We love the water and we love Paris. This is a great experience! Well run and efficient.
Super touristy as you can expect. Long lines just to get in, go on the elevator up, and then the next elevator to the summit, and then back down... you get the picture. Be prepared to spend at least 2-3 hours here. Tickets can be bought on the day there, the queues were mainly for getting in.Again, worth ticking it off your list. There are toilets as well so you should be good! 👌🏼
Great way to see some the Paris sights, great value for money.
A sensible way to help with a tourists trip to Paris and take in the popular places. Catch the boat from either Tour Eiffel or Notre Dame then spend all day hoping on and off at all the sites. If there are more of you, i.e. two families of 4, its worth asking if you can get the small group price. It worked for us.You get great and unique views from the river. The boats dont have toilets and there is limited outside areas to escape the Perspex roof over the seating area.
Wow! What a great experience.. to be able to see everything along the river during the day and the as it got dark all the lights that illuminated the city! 😍 I saw the Eiffel Tower lite up for the first time while on this cruise 🚢 so lovely 💕
This worked really well for us 17 euros for each adult and 8 for each kid. Boats came very regularly and there was always space to sit down. Drops you right next to the main sights and in some cases we got off, walked to the next stop and got on again. I felt like it gave us a great view of the city from the river as well as a lot of freedom.
It was fun , and toom us to many different nice places in one go instead of looking for buses and metros to how to get there , we spent one days exploring them by the batobus
Well managed boat service which circuits around the main attractions in Paris that can be reached by boat (Notre Dame, Louvre, Eiffel tower etc). Much more pleasant than Uber and much cheaper.
The batobus stop closest Eiffel just by its base. Buy your Navigo Decouverte pass first before getting your batobus pass to save €6. The two day pass is worth it if you intend d to be around the seine and would have time to wait for the boats which are 30 mins between stops. The boats are roomy but you are under plexiglass which impedes the view somewhat. Being under covers is welcomed in the winter but I can imagine it being steamy during the peak of summer. Would have been nice to have an external deck so you can take pics of the Seine and the sights without obstructions.
The boat was excellent. Gave great views but was disappointed with a lack of commentary
I really liked to travel by boat. It may take a little longer, but its worth the experience and the price is more than fair, especially with student discounts. The stations are very well positioned and the trips are informative. I can recommend it to anyone (good weather provided).
Great way to cruise between sites! Love how all the bridges and buildings were lit at night! Definitely a beautiful way to see the town! Picture taken from Batobus dock.
Not quite very nice views along the river tour but a great mean of transport that can move u from all main points around Paris. One big drawback is that it closes very early around 9pm and thats the best time to go out!!
The Batobus river tour of the Seine in Paris is a nice way to see some of the tourist attractions in Paris that are at the river bank. You can get off, visit the site, and then, when youre ready to continue, get on the next boat to continue the tour. The seats are comfortable, but there are three issues that prevent me from giving this service a full five stars.1. During the height of the tourist season, which is when I was there, the boats should come along more frequently.2. Because people tend to take pictures through the windows, they should keep the windows cleaner than they do now.3. The guides who describe the sights should describe more of the sights than they do now. They should describe places that the boat passes as well as the ones where the boat stops, and the public address system should have better quality speakers. They are not using 21st century speakers. The sound quality sounded like they are using technology from the 1980s.
We got the 2 day hop on/off tour- used it as a river taxi. It drops you near most of Paris’ main attractions: Notre Dame, San Chappell, Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Muse d Orsay, etc. Enjoyed the ride!
It’s good if you do not want to walk a lot. I was there at about 1pm and the sun was on the right side of the boat. So you may want to take note on where to sit. Services runs until 5pm only; which is a very short time if you ask me. Considering I bought the tickets at 1:30pm. Oh yes, the tickets are 24h upon purchase. So if you bought tickets at 12pm, you can use it until 12pm tomorrow! There are 9 stops in total and takes about 1h45m to complete the whole loop. There were a few things we didn’t personally like but it’s just a preference.1The cashier is VERY VERY hard on exact change. Do not understand why. Insist that we give exact change.2The seats at the centre isle springs back noisily.3The wait at the dock is too long sometimes; do not understand why since there’s nobody queuing.Include some scenic photos
They sold tickets for me and my friends despite of flood alert and impossibility of courses. I am very disappointed because there is no way to contact with Batobus service and gain the refundation for tickets. Fraudsters.
Very comfortable and convenient ways to see most of major attractions in Paris. Paris seeing from upper deck is even more beautiful. Audio guide is basic but I did learn some interesting history. If you are not in rush, this is a great way to tour the city for the first time.
An excellent way to visit Paris by river. You can buy the ticket on the day. We got ours at the stop near the Eiffel Tower so really easy! The Batobus stops at 9 different parts of the city and goes in a circle so you can get ofc and on all day if you like. We did trips on 2 different days. The first we did as a hop on hop off style but the second one we took the last departure at Eiffel Tower and stayed on all the way around (takes nearly 2 hours). It was beautiful to start in the afternoon sunshine and watch the sky turn Parisienne apricot and then darken for the lights along the river...to top it off as we arrived back ahain where we started the lights of the Eiffel Tower turned on for a spectacular show (on the hour).
Hardly any tourists . Unfortunately, we left our camera in Germany and had to take them with a Samsung phone, HOWEVER you can see, what terrific pictures you can take of the sights in Paris. It is VERY worthwhile. We got on the boat at the Musée dOrsay, no line. We went the middle of June. Also, I would recommend a 2 day pass.
