The breakfast is absolutely amazing, one of the best bacon and eggs rolls you will ever have. And the pancakes were top tier!

Amazing French vanilla slice. Huge thumbs up! Highly recommend it. You will regret it if you don’t!

I can highly recommend visiting Batehaven Bakehouse, the selection of breads, cakes, slices, quiche, pies, sandwiches, coffees, teas & so much more will impress & ensure return visits. Ive frequented the Bakehouse many times over the years & they have always maintained high standards with their products & their service.

Great Coffee and Food.

Claiming fresh cream when there was nothing fresh or real about your vanilla slice was so disappointing. The pastry was shockingly tough and solid. The custard tasteless and gummy, the cream over-aired and curdled. Twice was asked if we wanted coffee in a cup or mug, still got it wrong. The coconut macaroon that came with the coffee was delicious The shop looks great and inviting but heartbreakingly disappointed . Im not sure if Im game to try the pies which look really good.

Great bakery with a wide range of baked goods and good value breaky. Really friendly staff and a nice spot to sit upstairs. Perfect morning stop when passing through the Batemans area.

Very limited options for soy/dairy free dietary requirements. Having said that the cakes and savoury baked goods looked absolutely delicious! Almond chai latte and flat white hit the spot after a walk up from Batemans Bay.

Coffee good, friendly staff. Always making changes to some of the menu to keep things fresh.

What a lovely bakery! Such fantastic friendly service, blown away by the choc mint thickshake (was like drinking a mint slice bikkie!and the fresh cream bun was to die for! Will be back for sure!

I love this place. Besides their amazing friendly staff, they have the best pies, bacon & Egg roll, caramel latte. I regularly visits this place once to twice a week.

Great little bakery, we stop here for our lunchtime pies and pasties after a morning surf during summer (and sometimes winter when we can get away). The staff are always polite, happy to help, and the pies are tasty. The lemon slices, chocolate brownies and unicorn poo are also quite recommended!

Nice place for a coffee and a cake while sitting in the sun outside the shop. The lady who serves is lovely. The hummingbird round cake was not my favourite cake I purchased but it was fresh. 😁

A lovely bakery with wonderful friendly staff. Amazing pies, quiche, good coffee and a fantastic milkshake menu. You can also have breakfast which is what we had today I highly recommend the fruit toast absolutely delicious! They have inside and outside seating aswell as roof top seating which is where we enjoy eating.

Nice little bakery that does coffee and premade rolls and has a good selection of cakes pastries etc popular shop and the food we purchased was nice .

The only negative about this bakery is the blue heaven thickshakes are too sweet. Thats it. Everything else about the bakery is fantastic and the prices are reasonable. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I particularly recommend the cream buns and pumpkin pasties. The pies are great too. I keep going back and recommend you go there too.

I havent had a pie for ages but the pie I had at the Bake House was totally awesome! Big tender chunks of beef in a rich and tasty sauce... Im going back again... real soon! Highly recommended. The coffee is good too.

Visiting son in Batemans bay..his advice was no good pies there..he took me on a short drive to this place..the best pepper steak pie Ive eaten for awhile..great pastry - chunky meat -Thank you.

Bought a custard tart and a vanilla slice could not eat either needed a spoon, both sloppy custard and pastry that just fell apart on the tart , for the price expected a better product NEVER TO RETURN 08/09/2020.

The custard is not good and the cream was even worse than canned whip cream. The ham and cheese croissant was the worst one I have had ever. The almond croissant was terrible as well. The chunky steak pie was below average.

A solid bakery with plenty of choice. They have a completely unexplained number system to get served, which is rather annoying as until you have the local inside knowledge, you get to queue twice.

Big shout out of thanks.. for the milk and pies you handed out to us all stuck NYD.. noting you gave all your bread in sandwiches etc to the RFS... and that you refused to take any money, hoping everyone comes back to buy your yummy pies and bread when this is over ..

First time being there and it was awesome! The egg and bacon rolls were fresh and tasted great along with the coffee. The Donkey Kong (Choc Bananathickshake from their Go Wild menu is the best one Ive had to date.Great service from everyone as they timed the food, coffee and thickshake to be finished and served at the same time! Will definitely visit again! Big thanks to the staff. 🙂

Made our first visit this morning. The lady that served us was very friendly, coffee was great, and my little man raved over his egg and bacon topped pie. Will definitely be returning.

Friendly service and awesome food, the thickshakes are the most appealing drinks I have seen in a long time. The only confusing thing was the way you need to line up in the queue other than that everything was great.

Outrageously awful service. I waited half an hour for a coffee while the barista worked alone - very slowly, joking around with colleagues - on a two person machine. All in all it took me forty minutes to get two take away coffees, and all I got was a mild apology about the wait. Wasted my Sunday morning entirely.

I love this bakery. Great pies and pastries. The Oreo Thickshake... Absolutely bloody amazing! Always tastes great when that lady with blonde hair makes them. Absolutely best shake in the bay area. Goes well with a couple potato pies.

Tucked around the corner from Beach Rd is a lovely Bakery filled with fresh breads , cakes, pastries loads of choices .Good coffee. This place is busy especially during the holidays. Well worth stopping by.

I had a sausage roll and a custard tart. The sausage roll wasnt bad (I love trying sausage rolls in every bakery I go to), but a little dry. The custard tart was also a mixed affair. The custard itself was nice, but I expect the base to be solid, hard enough that when you peel back the foil the base holds the custard in place so you can eat it! Nope. A soft base that crumbles away, making the tart difficult to eat. Otherwise a large selection of usual bakery items available, as well as fresh sandwiches made to order. But for the two items I bought, just average (hence 3 stars). Give them a go I guess.

Nice mix of bread, pastry and desserts. Coffee is good and having it on the rooftop on a fine day is a bonus.
