Delicious pizza! The dough was nice and soft and squishy but not undercooked, the ingredients were fresh, and the portions were a good size! Large selection of drinks, and very fast service, especially considering that it was a very busy day. The staff were very polite too. Highly recommend!

Ordered gluten free pizza and Greek salad. Greek salad was good value but for the €14 euros charged for the gluten free pizza, we expected better than a factory bought pizza, which was honestly inedible. Made worse by the fact that a partial refund was refused. Would not recommend to anyone looking for an easy gluten free meal in thessaloniki

The food was overpriced for what they offer. The food was not served in the same time and when 7 out of 8 had their meal, the friend left behind asked for his risotto and they said it’s almost ready but we think that they forgot about it because it came after 15’.. they apologised but still.. after waiting 1 hour and a half..my pasta has no taste even if it was with smoked carbonara. Only the musaca was very good

Great pasta. Also pizza looks very well.. I didnt taste it. Prices are "ok to low" for the area.

We waited for more than 30 mins to get our pizza. Found out waitress forgot to put in our order and we have asked 2 times for our order from other waiters that didnt even go to look at our order in kitchen but just said ,"its coming. " the restaurant was not so busy at that time.Never go back again !

The staff is very polite, food is great, especially garlic bread with feta cheese and olives. I would recommend to everyone, top class

We live in the USA and came to Thessaloniki for vacation. Basilico was one of the best places to eat.The servers Krisa and Vivi were amazing. They gave terrific service and were very friendly and welcoming. Pasta and risotto that Andoni made for us was delicious and so flavorful. Thank you so much guys that made us feel at home.

Really good pizza! Sadly though, not so popular amongst adults and elder people. It was full of teenagers when I attended. I strongly recommend it though.

Service abhorrent. From when we were given the menu, it took 28 minutes to place our order, after several times of asking. In the end, another customer said that we had been waiting longer so they should serve us first!! Food ok but nothing special. Only good thing about the place is location, right across from the sea but a very busy road.

The friendliest staff I have ever met,it was a pleasure just ordering to them!Loved the quality of the food and the view to Thermaikos.I just really want to say about how great the waitress and waiter was.Congratulatioms to them, Ive never felt more nice in a restaurant.

I was visit friends to thessaloniki and I ask them about where to eat some pasta dishes and they answer me, go to Basilico. Ooook. I like the salad was tasty but what about pasta??? Pasta was over cooked I think or many time in boiling. The bolognese it was like premade sauce from supermarket I dont like the taste and with over-boiling pasta was little bit strange. But it was ok. Good prices, good service. If I will visit again thessaloniki I will give another one try to see how pizza will be. Maybe pizza is supreme because I see good oven that cook pizza inside.The environment is friendly and clean and with nice view to thermaeikos ocean and white tower of thessaloniki. Thats all.

The location is good and pleasant, as is the staff. The risotto with truffle was good, but the salad of the same name with the place only okay. The prices are ok but not in expensive. Pizzas a bit pricey and no special flavors. Overall good for something quick.

Prime location right on Thessaloniki’s historic waterfront but most importantly, great pizzas and salads (the risotto looked great too! Next time!). Thin crust as tradition requires and fine ingredients. We wanted to add ingredients to our base pizza, which was no problem. Reasonably priced wine bottles. Great service! Highly recommended!

Great service and friendly staff. Recommended for the food and the view of the sea. We loved the crunchy pizza, the fresh salad and the amazing mozzarella-tomato-pesto salad. No gluten free pizza and pasta although Google suggested otherwise. Still more than a decent experience.

Pizza on such an ideal performance I only ate in Italy and here in this pizzeria. Light tastes, quick service and a warm atmosphere contribute to a pleasant rest for the mind and stomach.

Went there to try a pizza and I can say that Im satisfied. The prices are as expected because of the view so I cant say much more. It did get me angry that the staff didnt bring any receipt, so thats one star minus...

Basilico offers a rather large menu of actual food, unlike most other bars around the area, with decent pricing and large portions to justify those prices. The pizza I ordered was Ham and Bacon, and it was particularly good. Overall, I would definitely recommend tourists to go to Basilico to get a bite to eat around that area.

The gluten free pizza was a disappointment. The base looked and tasted as ready made. The menu had no reference of the gluten free pizza or that there was an extra charge for that option. Ordered two margarita, the price on the menu was €7.80. when the bill came we were charged €12.50. If you are looking for a gluten free pizza, dont bother coming to this place!

Friendly stuff, fast service and good prices.We ordered a mushroom risotto, a chicken salad, and linguini with chicken and spinach. Although the food tasted good in general, the chicken on its own didnt in neither of the plates.Could have a bigger wine selection.

Delicious pizza (they didnt have any problem with mixing two kinds on halvesand garlic bread. They add a lot of olive oil, which I consider a good move. The staff is kind and nice, they have menu in English and the bathroom is exceptionally clean.

Terrible terrible service, the worst I have EVER had in Greece. Left after 45 minutes, still no food or water in site. Very rude, unhappy staff who did not care less about their jobs, and were confrontational and rude even though I was with kids!
