Basilica Notre-Dame in Geneve

I really loved the mass at Notre Dame Basilica, find it quite space where we pray in solitude and encounter Jesus in the Eucharist.

Wow wow wow... its beyond my expectations...

Great Church but its such a shame that homeless people spend the whole day sitting next to it making the place uncomfortable. Sad for them but sad for everyone.

Small but beautiful church just in front of the geneva cornavin station. If you have 30 minute to spare, do visit for the glassworks.

In these covid times, to assist at Mass is a challenge. You either have to register on line one day prior to the event (40 seats availableor be there early, they will admit the first 10 in line, making a total of 50 as per Canton guidelines. Office was great (in Frenchin a beautiful architectural set up.

Theres a Catholic mass in English every Sunday at 19.00

Very nice stained-glass windows. Part of them were installed in the 2nd half of the 19th century. Others date back to the 20th century. Particularly, one of the works in the southern transept "Saint Mark" by Maurice Denis dates back to 1917. It is very interesting to find works of some many different artists in one cathedral. So that you can see the evolution of stained-glass artwork.The armchairs in the transept were carved in 1866.

I try to stop by every time I arrive in Geneva. Very nice, next to the station, with a very beautiful statue of our Blessed Mother.

Absolutely gorgeous Church with stunning façade and stupendous interior in the heart of Geneva. Right across from the train station and bus exchange. A great Cathedral for young and old. Theres wheelchair accessible entrance. Theres Street parking or theres public parking station near the train station. If in Geneva, this is a must visit. Very friendly congregations here. Gorgeous from the outside and even more impressive inside.

We attended the holy morning mass today 16th of April 2019..we are all devastated and saddened of what happened in Paris yesterday monday evening..pervent prayers for our world-famous French suffers...our Lady of Paris, Notre Dame.

The Basilica Notre-Dame of Geneva is the main Roman Catholic church in Geneva, Switzerland, the old Saint-Pierre cathedral being now a Protestant parish.

Very nice Cathedral just near the main station. Dont expect a huge thing, its a nice and small cathedral.

This is a place worth seeing if you are nearby. More massive than St.Pierres cathedral.
