Barrister Bed & Breakfast in Helena

A vacation with friends in mid September, 8 nights. The food was excellent as were all of Dianes recommendations for restaurants. Ive never stayed in a BNB where the hosts have anticipated everything the guests might wish for.

Ken and Diane operate a beautiful, clean and comfortable place to stay. After 30 years coming to visit family in Seneca Falls, we’ve found our spot. The home is gorgeous, an architectural gem with an interesting history. Breakfast is incredible every day, and the hosts are warm and friendly. It’s just too bad they like the wrong baseball team! 😂

Beautiful BnB, very comfortable room, excellent hosts, gourmet breakfasts all near historical sites, wineries, and all that the Finger Lakes have to offer.

Ken and Diane are excellent hosts! Our family stayed for a long weekend for my fathers 80th birthday. Everyone raved about the breakfasts which were prepared each morning. The house is beautiful and well kept. I did worry about the railroad tracks nearby,but in the 4 days we were there, we only heard the train once. Thank you again Diane and Ken! We highly recommend you stay here if you are planning to be in the area.

They are the nicest people ever. Rooms are old fashioned (be real the house is built in mid 1800sso if you’re expecting a chain hotel appearance it’s not for you. Also if you’re expecting a hotel experience…book a hotel. There will be people and you will likely interact with them at breakfast table.Speaking of breakfast, they like to make fresh breakfast, from farm to table. They are lovely people who will provide you all the ins and outs of what the locality has to offer. After our recent stay there, I want to bring them home. She does the baking and he does the cooking. Except when he bakes quiche.They are the grandparents that we want, but not the ones that we deserve.

We just spent 3 days in Seneca Falls for my 50th. Ken and Diane truly have a special place! They are so personable and make you feel like family! The B&B is immaculate and the breakfast is gourmet! You will not regret staying at Barristers! And if you do, tell them Bob and Andi say hi!

Me and my wife stayed at Barrister’s for a weekend. It’s a nice little 5 bedroom bed and breakfast place set in a traditional Victorian house. The rooms have a themed vintage look. We stayed in the Yellow Rose room (Zuzu Bailey aka It’s A Wonderful Life reportedly stayed there). The amiable owners, Diane and Ken went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and made us feel as part of their family. The rooms were clean and well equipped. There was no TV in our room and it was good to spend some quality time, reading and away from media. The breakfast was included and the gourmet meals were freshly prepared daily by Ken and Diane using local ingredients. Diane is an amazing baker and we loved her Danish pastry. The downtown area and restaurants are just a 2 min drive (or short walk in summerfrom the place. We certainly plan to visit again and would love to stay at Diane and Ken’s Barrister B&B again.

This bed and breakfast was the epitome of the fingerlakes. Make no mistake, the vineyards were welcoming and had the best wine ever. This bed and breakfast made it all come together. A quaint GEM tucked in a quiet town. Innkeepers warm and friendly making every aspect of your stay comfortable. As for the breakfasts served, you wont be in any rush to get on with your day when being served 5 star meals in a Victorian style surroundings.

Been staying here for the past 16 years. Diane & Ken are the best hosts ever and a great cook and baker. B&B is centrally located walking distance to town. If your into wines this is the area to visit

Best B&B Ive ever stayed at.

Had a wonderful experience at the Barrister B&B! Our innkeepers were wonderful and full of knowledge. The breakfast was unbelievable! Our first day the breakfast consisted of homemade banana nut bread, pears cooked with local wine, berries and yogurt, chicken sausage, panko crusted asparagus, and quiche with local cheese and spinach. Sooo yummy! Diane pays attention to what you like and makes sure its ready for you when you come downstairs. After day one she remembered that I love coffee but my husband prefers chai tea. They would be waiting for us when we descended the stairs! Another thing I loved was coming back after a day of wine tasting to a cup of tea and cookie of my choosing. So much better than any hotel experience I could have imagined! I highly recommend them and will be returning!!

Innkeepers Ken and Diane are lovely hosts and can help with everything from dining recommendations to wine trail guides. They host the most delicious 3 course breakfast you could ask for. Lovely, cozy rooms in a beautiful house. Highly recommended.

My daughter & I had such a wonderful time at Barristers B&B. The room was so cozy with beautiful Victorian decor & the bed very comfortable. Ken & Diane made us feel so welcome & the 3-course breakfast was to die for. I would immensely recommend this establishment.

The house itself is gorgeous, clean and well kept. The owners are as sweet as can be, extremely helpful planning our tour around the fingerlakes wineries. The breakfast is outstanding, three courses were served and all of it was delicious. There was so much food neither of us finished our meals, and we stayed full so long we didnt eat lunch until after 2. Our room was clean and comfortable. The whole trip was very relaxing and enjoyable. We are both looking forward to our next trip.
