Strip mall featuring shopping & dining options, plus services such as banks & salons.
So many choices and lots of parking.
Parking lot littered with trash. Shopping cart racks filled with carts from stores not in this shopping center
Very quaint center. Has a wide selection of botiquín stores. Highly recommend.
An outdoor mall experience for the ages. Ive been shopping here for 40 years and the variety of stores never disappoints.
Great area, friendly people, nice selection of stores. Hope they dont change like the old town mall area.
Great place and very knowledgeable staff.
Happy cooks store is a great place
Really nice, somewhat upper class style shopping center. Michaels and Barnes and Noble are right next to each other
Excellent venue with wide variety of shops. So enjoy visiting there! There r fresh new stores either have arrived for r on the way!
Went there to gamestop they never have a xbox one controller
There is a fantastic square in the center near Panera bread and five guys with varied seating and a delightful fountain. Definitely a cut above most strip malls, even though most of it is still pretty car-dominated.
Lots of nice shops with a large selection
Its convenient and you can see various shopping centers here
It is a great place to shop. People treat you like you treat them. Once in awhile you can get a nasty raised person and its not there fault they just got a messed up life from childhood
Lots of good places to eat here.
Everything here is laid out nicely. There are a variety of shops to visit that are easy and convenient to get to.
Peter Changes restaurant is delicious. Cant wait to go back
Great shopping experience, variety of stores and eateries
We really love this shopping mall. Great high-end stores.
Great variety of shops . Traffic can get a little crazy
Old "STANDBY". One of the first commercial malls in Charlottesville. Va. Outdated in some regards, but its beautiful nostalgia overrides it wanting. Close to UVA Grounds, JPJ, and Scott Stadium, it remains a frequented stop.
I gave it a 4 because I despise shopping centers but this one lets me hit the pharmacy and wait in the poke bowl joint.
It has every thing you could possibly want PLUS electric charging stations for electric vehicles.
Jos A Banks. Saved the day. Walked in measured and on my way. Great staff. We be back.
Visited briefly and joined through app. Looked very clean and person at front desk very helpful.
A great place for breakfast, fast food and shopping! You will also get ATM of banks, e.g., BOA.
Barracks Road Shopping Center is very nice too go shop at the people are nice prices are good
Barracks Road Shopping Center is one of the oldest shopping destinations in Charlottesville - right up there with The Downtown Mall - but with more contemporary shops and restaurants. Its nice to just park your car and walk to all the stores at Barracks Road and so many unique clothing boutiques and a plethora of eateries sure to satisfy any taste. There is also a small strip of stores (about 10 -12across from the main shopping mall that offer more choices.Unfortunately the Nike Store recently closed but hopefully another shoe apparel business will move in. The American Eagle next to Old Navy only caters to female shoppers - found that out rather disappointingly. There is a new Chick-fil-A recently built where the old Burger King once stood.Barracks Road Shopping Center will sure to please!
Love it lots to see 👀and shopping 🛍 in great 👍stores
I really like how this shopping center is staying on top of their property. For the last 20 years that Ive know of this place. It has always been well kept.
Much like stonefield this place is a logistical nightmare filled with mostly over priced items you only kind of want. Its still not that great but it is there...
For some strange reason...this place found me. it was early evening and I was driving a friends car with him in the passenger seat. Then something caught my eyes...The way the shops are located, the lighting..it drew me in closer. How the stores are located makes one want to window shop and spend. It feels High End and makes one feel special. Ample parking in both locations. This place is split in two. It feels like to me like an outdoor mall, and again High End. I dont think I can get this same feeling if I were to be here in the day time.
The shops here dont really appeal to the younger crowd, also I challenged myself to find a too under $82.00 and could not do it until we hit up the Old Navy.
Always a nice place to go for an afternoon. Unfortunately you dont always get good customer service at some of the shops. Some of the women dont speak to you or even look in your direction unless you "dress" a certain way.
There are a lot of options in this shopping center. It can get a little snooty though with some of the shops and the way they treat you. But overall I love the shopping center
One of my favorite Charlottesville shopping centers. Awesome variety of stores and restaurants. Super convenient location. One downside is that it’s always packed and usually hard to find parking but that’s understandable and the convenient location makes it worth it.
I like the variety of stores and the parking lot is big enough to accommodate them, but the drainage areas in the main road through the parking lot are terrible to drive over or around, and getting in/out near the McDonalds during any meal time sucks because of the drive thru backlog
Its always pleasant to shop here even if its just to run into the grocery store to pick up something quickly.
We went to the poke bowl. Excellent service and fun atmosphere. The kid and I loved it equally.
I love all the little shops and community at large here , very friendly and receptive . Alot of culture. Charlottesville is just a wonderful city in general. Alot of good places 👌
Its got decent (bit not goodev car chargers and a greenberries. The parking lot dominates all, and generates its own microclimate. A scar on the city, it somehow manages to persist as a trendy stretch of kitch and cliche.
I love this shopping center because they have several always working EV fast chargers. Plug in your car while you shop or enjoy a nice meal out. Full charge from 0 in 1 hour for $12.00!
Always a busy place. I bring my patience when I need to come here. Traffic can be heavy but a nice variety of stores makes it worth the visit.
great place, easy parking, all in one get
Great shopping center! Panera and Barnes and Noble are both great spots to read/ work/ study. Tara Thai and Zoes are good food spots as well. Tons of solid offerings all around.
A breath of fresh air. Stores are conscientious. Fun! Get what you need! Plenty of parking (ignore pick up.parking spaces.Just needs 1 truly italian restaurant and it would be perfect!
This parking lot has gotten scary. People run stop signs constantly. Strange turns, strange and Hodge podge of parking formations, buildings here and there and cati- cornered, and overload of traffic . . .The stores are great, friendly and personable. . . A SUPER POPULAR PLACE TO BE, deserves a better parking lot. I dont visit the north wing since Shenanigans and the childrens clothing store that was there, next to it, left.
Popular and busy shopping center with many nice shops and stores. Clothing, shoes, books, beauty products, gifts, food, household items, pharmacy & grocery. I really like the Ulta store and Barnes and Noble. I have found nice gifts at the Virginia Store. Several great places to eat!
This shopping center is quickly becoming the best shopping location in Charlottesville! They have a great mix of dining locations, well known chain stores, unique and high end boutiques as well as a good amount of parking space. There is truly something for everyone here as well as access to your everyday shopping needs like groceries.
This shopping mall is always very busy. Its a beautiful outdoor shopping area with fountains and nice sitting areas. Pretty much any food that you like you can find here and there are two super markets. Every worker Ive ever met there has been extremely friendly. I walk through here almost daily on my lunch break.
