Beautiful, well done small zoo for children. BYO grill food in playground area.

Quite busy with families and extremely warm in one of the rooms. wasnt too exciting but nice for a couple hours.

Not worth visiting not a great place.. there arent many options and lot of cages seemed empty.. if you are from India and have visited Zoo there then not worth visiting..

Nice place for kids, large area, many playground but limited number of animals for viewing.The petting area is highly recommended for toddlers.

You can see seals, flamingos, puffins, raccoons. It is a great place to visit!

Lovely made Zoo, where certain animals got more space than in bigger Zoos. Thru the week it is pretty quiet and awesome with kids. A playground and food is available as well. The entry ticket compared for what it is, is absolutely reasonable. An absolute go.

The part of the zoo on the river is free of charge, but the more exotic animals can be visited for a fair price.

Great place to visit while you are in Bern!!!!

The funny thing is that half of the zoo is outside of the entrance, so if you decide not to visit the zoo you can still watch half of it before the actual visit. It’s a small entrance price but the vicarium is so cool I really recommend going in. I saw happy animals, beautiful plants and beautiful enclosures! Its a small zoo but still nice to drop by on your trip to Bern! ✌🏼🇨🇭

Great park for children. Adapted for all age categories with a lot of shadow and a few playgrounds. There is also a significant part that is free of charge along the river Are.Perfect for hot days as the park is half in the forest.The entry fee is quite reasonable, but the takeaway restaurant is quite expensive even for simple, high margin meals. OK if some part of the benefits goes to the park itself tho, but cannot confirm.

A great place to spend an afternoon. Plenty of interesting animals in well designed enclosures.

Nice little zoo, with plenty of signs in English as well.Could get away with only visiting the free bits, but its a nice addition to go in and see some of the more exotic animals.

Stop using animals for your entertainment!!! These bears had no privacy nor shade to hide from the sun!!!!!!! It is disgusting, you call yourself a bear city yet you imprison them for your fun!!!! Boooo on you!!!

The petting zoo is not in the premises of the zoo. So it has free entrance. The children have lots of fun petting the goats, boars and chickens.

Its quite small zoo. Its good place for school students and children in and around Bern to visit for Educational trips.

Very nice place for relaxing day or long walk with your parnter of family. On top great brunch serving in the restaurant on Sundays. By the good weather pretty crowded.

Great place for family and kids, the entrance of the Zoo has farm animals available to see and sometimes touch, all for free! There is also a coffee/tea room.If you go up the road, there is a park for kids and the zoo. You have to pay to enter the zoo, its not too expensive and they have a good choice for animals. Its not big but interesting and nice to visit.Parking can be complicated but a little walk from the car works.All in all, its a place worth visiting and spending an afternoon there.

My three year old (and Iloved this zoo. Its a really kid-friendly zoo experience. She really liked the inside bit at the entrance. If youre in Bern... definitely checkout the zoo.

We had an amazing time at your park. Everything is well organized, clean with various animals. We are very satisfied.The only problem was with an old employee at the reception/cashier. I asked her 3 times to give me the password of the wifi. There is wifi only for the guest as I noticed (TPB GAST). But she refused to give the password 3 times. She replied, "I am not allowed to give you the password". I explained to her very politely that I need it for 5 minutes (work emergencyand I told her that there is wifi only for guests.She was very cold, unfriendly, and unprofessional.How on earth a great establishment like this does not support wifi for guests ???Please change her position TODAY. It is better for the park, to replace her and tell her to feed the animals. Anyway, not having contact with people.Apart from this incident, everything else was just perfect!

Right next to Aare river is the Tiere park. Really great place for kids and adults alike. Theres so many things for the senses. Around are various animals and colourful trees. Sip coffee while listening to the calming current of the river. Fresh air is always in abundance any day.

Its located near the city. Cute animals. Good for a walk.

A lovely place to go with kids in Bern. Nothing too fancy but the entry fee is very appropriate and children will enjoy the great playground!

Since the renovation, the zoo is very nice and also the animals have some space to live in. Very well place for a visit, special with children. If you dont like to pay a fee, there is also a nice freely accessible part. And of course you must spend some time at the river Aare, which is adjacent.

Open 8:30-19 (Nov-Feb 9-17), CHF 10 adults, CHF 6 childs (6-16), restaurants, souvenir shop. Beautiful and quiet zoo on the aare river. A focus is on domestic wild animals but there is also a large part with exotic animals and a seal facility.

great zoo! animals live in comfort! huge enclosures that are very close to wildlife. really enjoyed it.

The animals have a big space , ppl work in here also are very nice, we watch ppl feed animals, it is better come here around 4pm , you will see the feeding

Great zoo with different enclosures of different habitats, animals, seal feeding. Picnic areas, playground and lots of free enclosures down by the river and a kids petting farm animals zoo before you even have to go in to pay.

Really nice zoo and not expensive. It has a free area with boars, lammas and goats, you can even go inside the goats enclosure. Payed space its cheap, hAs a vivarium, an aquarium and an outside area with seals, bears and other kinds of animals. Seals feeding time is nice to watch, especially if you have kids.

A very nice zoo where animals have plenty of space to move and kids can safely roam around. Theres a "free" part with goats 🐐, boars 🐗, flamingos and lamas 🦙 (among others). The "paying" area is divided in two sections; indoor (snakes 🐍, iguanas 🦎, fish 🐠, monkeys 🐒, alligators 🐊 ..and outdoors (seals , bisons 🐃, deer, 🐻 bears, 🐺 wolfs, 🦉 owls)..

Nice walk. Nothing special here so I wouldnt pay the entrance fee but theres still plenty of animals you can check out for free

Nice and cheap little zoo 10CHF but many animals advertised are not able to be seen... A bit shame

The Vivarium is very nice, there are some animals you can almost touch. The rest of the zoo is interesting, though not too big with a nice big playground for the kids. The restaurant outside the zoo it’s not bad, though menus only in German.

Very nice park with lots of animals. Resonable prices and great location.Only thing they have to improve is the restaurant. Food was only okay but cashier was very rude complained that customers have to declare how many chicken nugtes they have after demanding a too expensive price. Please look into that.
