Barca - Vegan restaurant in Sector 1, Romania
Very good Vegeterian/vegan food. Good variety and nice ambiance.
Just finished to eat the best food! The Tabbouleh salad taste better than New York, Milan or London 😊Here are the desserts! 100% vegan
Genuinely bland food. Ridiculously overpriced. The fries were the worst fries I have ever had. Overcharged us for water as well. Avoid at all costs
The owner was fabulous like the food that they served. Very pretty, relaxing restaurant.
Great vegetarian and raw food.
Excellent food, very calm and friendly service, more than reasonable prices
Excellent plant based food! Great variety of food products! Highly recommended whether you are vegan or not!
Perfect place to dine amazing vegan food. Great variety. I recomend the " fried chips and steak"
Great vegan food. Good service. At least one server speak good english. Daily lunch special, price is cheap. Other selections are reasonably priced.
My veg minded visitor liked the place and the food. For me is was just ok.
The service was beyond reproach, but sadly the food did not live up to par. Each dish ordered seemed to be a pale imitation of a non vegan dish. If youre not vegan - find somewhere else.
Friendly service. It looked it was closed and had to open the door to find out if it was open.Good soup, Burrito as well. Goji smoothie was too liquid for me ( perhaps it needed a banana?. Chocolate cake nice.
Great experience! Totally recommend if you are a vegan(or not).
I didnt really get to acquire a taste for vegan food, but this place is great nonetheless. Very polite staff and great service!
This place is really great: excellent food, everything is fresh and there are of variety of choices available. Staff was really nice and helpful, explaining each dish and being always really helpful. In case you want a nice vegan lunch or breakfast, this is the place! :)
Great atmosphere and very good service! The dishes we chose were ok.
Simply put, the best Vegan Restaurant in town. It has very interesting recipes that are not simple to make at home. Yet they nail them!
Amazing and highly recommended. The best raw vegan sushi Ive ever tried. The menu offers variety, the service was great and the wine(roseis a must.
Excellent. Delicious food. Nice little terrace. Seriously vegan and fresh. A real gem in Bucharest.
Very nice, classy vegan restaurant. Probably the nicest Ive ever visited anywhere. Proprietor who waited on us was very refined, friendly, and helpful. This place is a gem that should be discovered by every vegan (or part-time veganvisiting Bucharest. Dont miss it!
Very good food, the owner pay attention to every detail to you feel comfortable and enjoy everything
I visit this place everytime and each time with the same pleasure. Very quiet, and peaceful, with lovely food. You don’t have to be a vegan to enjoy this location, but if you are one, for sure you need to spent some quality time here. Keep up the good work!
Really delicious and healthy food with a great selection and friendly service, this is well worth a visit for vegans/vegetarians or anyone seeking good, healthy food in Bucharest. Good value for money too.
Every dish was better than the other. Perfectly served good tastes that combine together. The service was a little slow but I think its because the preparation of every dish is only upon ordering. I will definitely go again!
Really enjoyed the time and meal we had here. We visited because my wife is vegan (I am notbut I was impressed with the food on offer, something for everyone
Great Food, Ambience, & Service. Rich, creative vegan menu & reasonable prices.
A very big choice of tasty dishes, very friendly and competent waiters that clearly care about the restaurant and its concept.
Sitting in the restaurant right now, it is amazing really, and am only on the soup right now. Amazingly relaxing atmosphere, as you walk in, you are greeted with a delicious aroma which can best be described as a potpourri of smells created using a wide range of esoteric spices. Hopefully I will be able to update later too. The staff is amazingly helpful and friendly
Awful experience. You should improve your interior design, the place looks like 20 years ago, it has nothing to do with its concept, it smells really bad inside and it needs a change asap!!! The food was old, we had an eggplant salad which tasted really funny. The waitress told us she tasted the salad and it tasted really good. She insinuated it was my problem. But of course it wasn’t. Both me and my boyfriend tasted it and we couldn’t eat it. I don’t recommend the place even though in Bucharest it is hard to find a completely vegan place. But I still wouldn’t recommend it!!! NEVER!!!
Was looking for something healthy to eat while on business in Bucharest. This place is amazing, really taste food, organic. Also has vegan and raw which are added pluses.
Lovely food and People!!
Excellent service, the staff was very well informed about all the dishes from the menu. The food is delicious, if you miss steaks, you can find a vegan version here that is amazing. I enjoyed everything I’ve tried so far.
A nice place for all those wishing to find a vegan or rawvegan meal. The service is nice, but most dishes have a long waiting time until they are served - so be prepared to wait up to 45 min for your meal.Definitely interesing, but not very good for a quick bite.
The food, first of all, is freshly made and super tasty. The staff is accomodating, helpful and well informed when it comes to order questions. The atmosphere is a little high-classy but they treat you well, no matter if youre a suit-wearer or a backpacker. Thats a rare thing! The prices are cheap considering the quality and kind of the food
Definitely a must. Food is delicious, greatly prepared and staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Go once you will come back
Excellent vegan place. The food is very good and the staff are very helpful! Would definitely recommend
Best restaurant in Romania.. the staff like miss Ellena and the owner are very good people and their customer service is impeccable.. the food is amazing and the environment is second to none.. will defo be back there soon..
Great place for vegetarians. A lot of options. Nominally priced. Caring and knowledgeable people.
Amazing experience. Owner is very knowledgeable and helped us with ordering. We expected it to be okay at best but it was phenomenal. The appetizer platter is a great start, from there on there are no wrong choices. Everything we ate was great. Chocolate dessert with tea to finish.
Excellent service, very professional. Tasty dishes. The menu contains many interesting cold and hot dishes. Clean and very tidy. Owner - very kind, takes care of the guests very well.
We got there, my daughter said she wants apple juice, they said they dont have apples, therefore we have to choose something else that had apple as one of the ingredient (most of it had apple as ingredientand they made it just with the rest on the ingredients. When we started ordering (there were 4 of ussome of the dishes they said they dont have it. The ones we got some were really good some a little overcooked and over condimented/ over flavoured, I got quinoa with grilled vegetables, quinoa was overcooked, vegetables too much salt and condiments. Someone else got spaghetti made of zucchini which were mooshi instead of being crispy. The sushi were dull, not so much flavour. Their bio wine was a little on the sweet side maybe, not dry, demi dry kinda. What we liked: the mix of breads - so good, whole grain pasta with vegetables - very good, and the appetizers. Overall was ok, food was still good, I cant say I didnt liked something, but I had higher expectations. Other thing, one of the waiters brings the food, but did not knew what it was or for who, maybe he was new...
By far, the best vegan/raw restaurant in Bucharest in particular and Romania at large. We had two starters the hummus and artichoke salad with a side of raw bread. The hummus was very good in European standards and acceptable in Israeli standards, the raw bread consisting of three separate types was for the most part surprisingly good and mashed very well with the artichoke salad. For seconds the tripe soup (wood mushroomsand the cream lentils soup both rich and very well made. For the main course, sate wood mushrooms with sesame - delicious. and two types of rice: exotic wild and basmati; Both very tasty, the wild rice was seasoned with cinnamon and the basmati with tumeric both excellent!Service was attentive and dishes were served promptly, far quicker than the quoted wait time specified in the menu for each dish.Highly recommended
From the outside it looked like an up-market and nice restaurant however upon entering its décor was outdated and crammed together. If the restaurant was full it would of not been comfortable to sit.We started with humus which was really nice although the portion size was a little small for the two of us. Flat bread we had the hummus with was more like cracker, thin and crisp. We tried a couple dishes for main (wood mushrooms& puree, omelette and pasta). None were inedible but were not rich is taste or flavour and were very expensive for the quality. The best from the meal had to be the wood mushrooms, had a great texture and taste just the purée provided did not compliment it well. In fact it was more like a soup, very hard to even pick with a fork.Pasta was very different than described, but very average. Omelette was the worst of the bunch, dry, crumbling, powdery, lacking flavour altogether.I reserved a table on the day and they didnt tell me that their card machine was down so I had to go for a walk to find a cash machine on the spot. All in all it was a bit of a disappointment as I was hoping for another good vegan restaurant to go back to but sadly was not the case. Doubtful I will go again
Excellent restaurant for vegetarian persons. In to a wonderful place, you could choose between raw foods and fresh cooked vegetables. With a very friendly staff, Barca is a good choice.
I am not a vegan by any means but I took some vegan friends there and I was pleasantly surprised. Great food. And my vegan friends were super thrilled. I highly recommend it.
Nice vegan restaurant with some interesting dishes. The service was also great.
we had sweet potato pasta and the mung bean stew both of which were delicious, they looked small at first but filled us right up.
Good vegan restaurant with some interesting options. I had vegan feta followed by fried oyster mushrooms and celeriac chips, yummy!
Super fair prices for a fancy place like this and the cakes will blow your mind. very nice atmosphere too!
I really liked this place. It isnt easy to find vegan specific food in Romania so this was a nice find. The waiter was very helpful and even spoke a little bit of English, they also have a English menu (machine translated).I will definitely come here again when I am in the area! The Spaghetti Alfredo and Roe dip were what I ended up liking the most.
