Nice eco-attraction.
We visited the bird sanctuary, included in our itinerary to explore the provinces of SOCSKSARGEN region. Upon arriving to the entrance of the sanctuary, we are welcomed with a vast Palm Tree plantation. Gladly, we are welcomed from the doors by its owner. We were the sole visitors that time. Given the traditional conical wide brim hats that you have to don throughout your walking tour to avoid getting pooped on, we excited sauntered and frolicked around the densely bird-populated area. Just a warning to would-be visitors that smothering with anti-insect mosquito would come in handy, I encountered many insect bites. I also love the bamboo area that apparently is a good backdrop for your social media photographs.
MoreAn entrance fee of 20Php per head upon entering santuary but I noticed while roaming, no birds can be seen only caged alligator, monitor lizard and wild boar. Possible the birds find another place much homey for them to stay no people around.
MoreWonderful natural habitat for birds
Birds arrive starting 5pm so coje here at this time for you to see thousands different kind of birds. The entrance is only php20 per head. You can take a hat which is offered free as you tour around the bird sanctuary, purposely to shade you from the pees or waste of birds flying overhead. There are shades with bench all around the area where you can watch birds. A big river runs the edge of thus sanctuary. Unfortunately, we came here at 1pm, and saw no birds, but cheers the monkey entertained us!
Morerelaxing and the birds are well protected:)
This sanctuary holds about 25,000 birds from herons to egrets and its as close to a National Geographic experience to see them up close and see their nests. My advise: wear pants and closed shoes, also wear a hat to protect your head from the droppings. In the afternoon around 430 to 5pm many of them fly back. Also bring mosquito repellent too.
MoreThe place is okay. Malayo lang talaga.
The sanctuary was created as a habitat for birds so that explains why the place and commute is far. The place is good for birds bc it is full of trees and there is also trail to follow for visitors. Ive also seen some animals and I believe theres still more room to develop.
MoreFeels like nasa Korean movie ang set up ng place ❤
A lot of birds!!!
Amazing birds ❤
Amazing place for birds lovers try to visit to experience the beauty.
Nice but the number of guards must be 3 or 4 😊so they can monitor the whole sanctuary.
MoreAway from the city noise..
Been here several times and will keep on coming back if theres a chance. Recommended for nature lover, birds enthusiast and to those who just want to have a relaxing minutes away from the stresses. You will be amazed how these lovely birds make this place their home.
MoreWe live in Soccsksargen area and we have heard so much about this place. We will not be doing justice to our region if we have not gone there as we must be in the forefront of promoting it. Finally last August 2018, we got our entire family, (seniors in towto visit the place. And we were not disappointed. We are in awe by the habitation of the different bird species. We are grateful that our region has been chosen by Gods wonderful creature to become their sanctuary. For tourists, expect a laid back ambience, do not expect the birds to be in cages. Imagine yourself in their realm and bask in the beauty of how God created all things beautiful. Support the preservation of the sanctuary.
MorePeak season daw is Feb. to May. Ang lamig;nakakarelax lalo na dun sa may tabing ilog na part kung saan may mga upuan.
MoreI liked how natural the forest looks, it was not landscaped just to look nice for guests. It was a bit humid when we visited last October. This sanctuary is not that far from the town, but the road is bumpy and you might get lost since signage is limited. Make sure to check your online/offline maps from time to time.
MoreNothing to see. Get a tour guide to get there

A must see spot in Sultan Kudarat. Its mesmerizing to see such a huge flock of birds in one area. The place is well protected and birds do roam and fly around freely in their natural habitat.
MoreWear the talakudong to avoid bird poop, its a must.
Nice
Open sanctuary
Nature atmosphere. Too many scattered fecal thing of the birds. Smelly too. Be sure not to remove the provided hat. Amazing birds. If you will use camera from celfone its hard to capture them because they are always on the tree. The place is peaceful if you are a nature lover.
