Bar Zabotinski - Pub in Jerusalem, Israel
Food is good BUT water is served in plastic cups, there’s only paper plates, the “giant schnitzel” is small, CocaCola was warm and the boss made the whole atmosphere very uncomfortable. He didn’t seem respectful to his staff.
Pros: The waitress was absolutely adorable. And they did go out of their way to get us the nargilla flavor we wanted, to get us to stay.Cons: The prices of drinks have completely skyrocketed making it no fun to go out to drink. The nargilla coals are not great. There was a super aggressive vibe to the staff, in the way they were managed, including the insisting on tip when it came time to pay. We tip, we just dont need to be forced into it on the spot. Its off-putting and defeats the whole nature of tipping. Not loving whats become of Israeli bar scene.
Amazing place with Food and Hookah
Nice place. Chicken wings were burnt out, other meals OK. Beer is overpriced, but happy hour relieves this.
Very nice place to chill out with friends
Nice neighborhood people & atmosphere
Expensive, oily food(Pargiot/chicken on leaves), food served on disposables, waited an extremely long time for just a plate of chips.
Lovely staff, excellent service!
Great place to sit with friends, have a drink, eat something and watch football
Very nice, good customer service.Terrible hookah
This is the place to have an amazing time. Staff are perfect very nice people. Food is amazing, no complaints. Overall a wonderful place. Great location
Beer & food was good. Bit pricey.
Avoid at all costs. Had a terrible experience here. Came to have dinner and drinks. Waiters were extremely pushy and aggressive, and the "bouncer" guy was smoking in our faces throughout dinner; very unprofessional. Drinks and food were very overpriced (cheapest beer was a 1/3 cup of Goldstar for ₪28). Food wasnt all that good. A glass of tea took about 30 minutes to be brought by the waiter (its literally hot water with leaves, makes absolutely no sense). Then they took an automatic tip without asking us at the end - which they did not deserve.Overall, terrible. Avoid.
We had an amazing experience at Zabotinski, we had a great Israeli Grill style meal, great cocktails, and a free complementary hookah!!!A very cute place and outdoor seating, very courteous staff!!!
Its amazing place, wonderful service, fair prices, good vibe.
I am sorry to say but I did not have a good experience in this restaurant. It is more of a bar atmosphere. Slow and terrible service, noisy, and we had no option to sit inside so all the smoking just annoyed us. I ordered a very expensive entrecote steak.Requested well done..received it rare- medium. Do not recommend.
Terrible terrible terrible experience. The food is horrible and not edible. I ordered edmame which is the easiest thing to make but was soggy and too salty, and when they replaced it by a new one it still was terrible. But that is not even the worst part about this place. The service is so terrible it makes the service in other places in Israel seem like a 5 star experience. The bill constantly has mistakes in it and when you point it out to the staff they argue with you. They try and take advantage of their costumers. This happened with a number of staff and with the manager. I would recommend that everyone stays away
Only came here for a few drinks. You can sit outside. The waiter was decent and polite. He asked if we wanted to give a service tip and then calculated the addition for us.
These guys are not really sure what beers theyre selling, and they price .3 same as .5. I guess none of these is really unique, but thats 3 stars, not more.
Pros: Open on Shabbat, waitors and waitresses were polite.Cons: Broken glasses on the floor, trash carts and leftover carts were passing the crowds in the bar when they were serving table, wrong orders when we specifically asked not to add bread on side.Terrible hygiene and food was mediocre. If the management doesnt care, the bistro across the street will take over the business.Should have given 1 star, but the attitude of the waitors and waitresses keeps this 2 stars.
Super cool bar, im not from Jerusalem but i will definitely will be there again.Good food and hertzel beer are the best combination. Thanks for the special night.
Probably our worst meal in Israel. The vegiterian spaghetti and steak sandwich were terribly mediocre, with the spaghetti being overcooked. Service was uninspired and our table was dirty on arrival (the restaurant was virtually empty). The fact that they are open during Shabbat is probably their main selling point.
The food was quite tasty and the service was superb. I was not bothered excessively but was asked if I needed anything else and how my food was. I would definitely recommend coming here . I like the atmosphere its quite relaxed and they play good music. Sorry about the pics I was hungry 😀.
a big pleasure,Friday Night most of the city was close, this palce was open and people here welcomed us with a big smile. food was nice, cocktails were amazing!we will be back.
Nice place, me and my wife was hangout for a drink. There is about 10 choices for draft beer. The price is bit high (only 410 ml. But there is good athmosphere , very close to city center.
Super nice restaurant. Its a cool place to chill with great service and short wait times. It gets pretty busy at night but the food was really good! Would recommend the Ferrero Rocher from the dessert menu.
Was our preferred place when we were students. Love the on-street sitting and ambience. Watched the world cup final there recently, the place was packed and they did well with the service and everything.
Excellent friendly service. Food was awful. Kebabs so dry, tomatoes were mushy. Chicken wings inedible. Sweet potato fries were ok. Prosecco was flat. We left 90% of food uneaten.
We watched Germanys game against Mexico on Sunday and we must note that we did not expect such a crazy atmosphere in watching football. The beers and the smiling waitress just left us a taste of no doubt that we will be back in another World Cup game.
There is nothing like a crazy hamburger, French fries and beer to enjoy the World Cup games.Jabotinsky is the perfect place for this, and is highly recommended to soccer fans from all over the world.
Service 5/5Beer 4/5Food - 4/5 (chips , crispy fred chicke, Burger)Dessert 3/5Atmosphere 4/5Wine red 3/5, white 4/5Shots 4/5 - high quality of alcohol, 3 for 12$Smoking allowed only outsidePrices food 20$+-Beer 8$+-There is a pitcher of beer for groupsFor sport fans,Mostly a bar of FC Barcelona, also for liverpool fc, at big games and champions league there is a projector outside and same times you need to order seat before! Not kosher - you can order cheese burger. Nice staff, delicious kebab and refreshing local beer. Ideal place to taste a bit Israel. The food was served quickly and prices were good. I recommend this place
Nice atmosphere, reasonable food.
Great food, great service. We are a family of 6 ,been there on Friday noon. Even when the place was packed we got great service with no delays. One burger was enough for 2 children.
lovely place with great atmosphere and people. good food and wide selection of beers. one of our favourite places in this trip in Israel!
Very good bar! Charming and well english spoken staff. The music inside is of the loud type, so it would fit best for partying. On the outside there is multiple tables allowing for more converaation with your group without yelling, but can still enjoy the music at a more relaxing level. Will visit again!
Nice place, music is not loud, food is ok, service is good, owner is nice. And ot is named after one of tge Zionist movements most distinguished leaders. So, all in all, good place to spend an evening at.
Vers nice burgers, fries and onion rings. The price is good, but not that cheap.
The servers are amazing their nice people. The place is clean and the plates are full.
Not for romantic evening. We are coming there early evening. In the restaurant has no visitors. We are stay. Nice silent music add romantic atmosphere feeling. In the next half hour comes few couples and suddenly someone grow up music volume... That was finish to nice time -*. We are not listened one to other more. In addition to it, they does too much service. Every few minutes, waiter come to take or to give something, if has nothing so ask us. We cannot to feel alone -*. The kabab we ordered does prepared on steam -*, I think. Ill never back there for romantic dates. Two ** for music and dessert.
