Been going here for 11 years. Really good mix of people and comfortable. Always love seeing new people, and the regulars. I enjoy the place. Karaoke and college football days are a ton of fun.

I really had a great time at Bar West and what. Made our visit so nice was The KJChris Hoops not only was he a great host he can really sing. They have done some remodeling in there which gives more seating area. Chris us a real professional. Doing Karaoke and his singing!!!

This is a very nice bar and very good customer service the KJ Chris Hoops is a great host and awesome entertainer and friend it would be well worth the time to go visit this vinue. It already is a well known bar in the CSRA. Ill give them an A+

Katie is the best! You go to Bar West and you feel home. Prices are good and the karaoke on Tuesdays and Wednesdays make it a great spot to hang out with friends.

Small space but good vibe...

This is the worst lounge Ive ever been to. How does a Martini Lounge literally not have anywhere to lounge? Lol. This place is a joke. I was expecting to walk into a bar with a menu full of beautiful hand-crafted martinis and cocktails. NOT. They didnt even have a menu! So, I ordered a basic cocktail. It was disgusting. The house liquor was so cheap, I had a headache in minutes. This place is obviously surviving on patronage from family and friends. Bar West has zero appeal.

Beware: This is a local dive bar. The photos are very misleading. I dont even know how they have audacity to have "martini" in the name. And "lounge"??! Not even a little comfortable. My wife ordered a Cosmopolitan and it was the worst one shes ever had. She literally took two sips and pushed it away. Then, the bartender had the nerve to charge us $17 for the two sh**ty drinks we ordered! Neither one of us drank the whole drink. Also, he obviously took advantage of us because we werent from the area. The bartenders name was Travis. When I asked for the total, he wouldnt tell me until I told him whether I was paying with cash or card. Why is the total based off of my payment method? At that point, I didnt care. I just wanted to get my wife out of there! This is not for someone who wants to enjoy ambience orthe experience. They serve bottom shelf liquor at high prices.

Bar west is a great place to come. Its a friendly establishment the bartenders are very respectful and hardworking. They always gave me and my friends great services throughout the years. I highly recommend more people come here and support this business and people.

The best bar in town all the way around in my opinion! Great people and even better atmosphere to hang out and have fun. The staff is PHENOMENAL. And you cant find a more awesome or more good looking bar owner than Clint and that kind of eye candy is always a plus! :-)

Im an African American I been coming to this bar since it has opened. Not once have I been disrespected or felt racially profiled Its ashamed that we as human beings have come to the point where we make everything about race. For future guest, the ones writing bad reviews about race and racial comments or post obviously has never been to this establishment, if they knew the owner or ever met him they would also know thats far from the truth One young lady posted about dont order food because it will be cold, well they dont serve food so try again. If you want to relax after hard day at work,gym or daily life come check it out. By the way GO DAWGS!!

I have been a regular at Bar West for atleast the past two years. And just yesterday I saw a post where a guy took his opinion of two pictures and proceeded to ask other blacks to write bad reviews on this bar to help stop them from getting business. I am a black woman who knows for a fact the owner nor any of his employees are racists. I was even attacked once by a white woman in the bar and she was banned not me. One young lady even posted a fake review saying they took forever to bring food to the table. It’s not even a restaurant. People are coming here posting reviews about a place they know nothing about. And as a black Roman I am appalled and embarrassed as to how people will just on any bandwagon once you throw race into the equation. Don’t believe these false and fake reviews. I will not disclose the owners name but if you ever visit he will probably be there and he himself dates women of all races. I have hung out with the entire staff in and out of the bar. They have supported me on so many levels and it is just a disgrace that this is where we are as a society. I prefer Togo to Bar West over any club or bar in the Augusta area. My review is real and from my own expense from jumping on someone else’s word just because they have the same skin color as me. Ignorance comes in all shapes sizes and colors. Their is no race discrimination when it comes to ignorance and I choose not to uphold ignorance which is also why I choose to drink, party, karaoke, visit and enjoy the services of Bar WestPs. I also commented to everyone that did join the bandwagon letting them know it was ignorant what they were doing. Needless to say the blocked me fast. Don’t be a follower all of your life. I love this bar! My husband and I have been coming here since I first moved to Augusta in 2013. The cocktails are the best in town and they offer a variety of spirits to choose from. The staff is like family to us, so much that we even hired them to bartend at our wedding. This bar has always been culturally diverse in my eyes. You have people from all walks of life that come here. It’s like your own personal cheers. So if you like to come to a place where you can feel at home and have a great cocktail, this is the place for you. No matter who you are, they will treat you like family!!P.S. I saw a few reviews about food. I have never known bar west to serve entrees. So you may want to eat before you come 😁.

Bar West use to be my spot.... Not anymore please do not spend your money at this establishment people. The racism and disrespect at the bar and on its Facebook page will not and must not be tolerated.

Great place to relax and enjoy a drink. They allow you to smoke cigars out back in their open air patio. Definitely recommend this place for somewhere laid back with a good drink selection.

Low lighting, not a venue to host any events chairs insidevwith tables are pretty old. Outside is the only upside of this barSmells old and pretty boring. But if you like small places with a small crowd its a great place. They do make a great drinks.

Super chill staff and great customers. Good selection and helpful staff to help answer any questions about drinks. Few TVs to watch games and a huge screen outside to watch the best of the evening.

This bar is absolutely the best bar south of heaven. From the time you walk in, youre treated like family.Its not the stereotypical college bar with drunk idiots trying to fight and everyone looking to get wild and stupid. This bar is the kind of bar where you go to hang out with your best friends, have a few good drinks, and enjoy yourself. The bartenders are extremely chill and fun to talk to, and they definitely arent serving watered down drinks.The best part of Bar West, though, is the atmosphere. The staff and regulars are all one giant family, and theyll welcome you in and treat you like one of their own.Definitely check out Bar West, you wont be disappointed.

Okay place. The bartender has a personality disorder. If I didnt know better I might think he needs cultural diversity training! Needless to say a tip is definitely out of the question!!

It is a small location. I just happened to go by on trivia noght which was definetly not something I was expecting. I have to say even though I did not participate it was hilarious. The prices arent too bad and so far the staff I have met are friendly.

Good DJ. Usually a lot of regulars. Drinks are good. Kinda small but quaint. Good place to take friends to hang out. Not really a singles spot. Large smoking area on the deck.

tucked away in this shopping center is a great bar. The bar tenders are nice and I love all the "random" concoctions they give me (I never know what to order)

I love the karaoke host on Wednesdays and Thursday. He is so lively and entertaining. We have such a great time every time we go.

Overall a good experience. Prices are a little high but it keeps the undesirable trouble makers out. If you know right bartender/server service is perfect otherwise you may get stuck with poor service
