The food is amazing here and the service is one of a kind. I recommend trying them out when you have a chance. They have a great menu selection and the prices are reasonable too.

I went for brunch with my siblings and I’ll say 5 stars for everything. Except maybe the metal tables outside in the sun haha but the brunch menu is stacked with options. I might not recommend the coffee but everyone loved their flavored margaritas! The avocado toast is huge, The frittata is very flavorful, The breakfast pizza was fire, and the French toast is a must have for the table to share

Friendly staff. Nice outdoor space. But bacon,egg & cheese panini was clearly not a panini! Not pressed or grilled at all. Bacon was so under cooked I had to remove it from my sandwich. They also wouldnt do separate checks.

I love this place. All the plates I’ve tried it’s amazingly good and the food has a high quality that you can taste it on each bite. It’s never a wrong choice to come eat here when I’m craving pasta and seafood.

We recently had a family gathering at Bar Rosso and it truly exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible, very fresh and delicious. The drinks were delectable and the service was top notch. This is a hidden gem in Stamford, I highly recommend it!!

Update Dec 2021 - We stopped in for happy hour on a Wednesday night. First impression: turn the heat up a couple hours before opening as the metal bar was about 60 degrees. The whole place seemed too cold to have a good time. We left after our first round of drinks…Original Review:First visit came in for lunch. This is a really nice place and it’s clear this place is very popular with the local crowd.Ordered Seared Scallops and Grilled Octopus and they both were very well prepared and presented!The Scallops were seared just right gut and were enhanced by a delicious risotto. They micro greens were elegant and a nice touch!Grilled Octopus was cooked perfectly and the escarole with cannelloni beans had some pep provided by some red pepper flakes, perhaps a tad heavy on the red pepper, but delicious nonetheless.It’s clear we’ll have to check out their brunch at some point. Bar Rossi is another great option in downtown Stamford!

I had a reservation for 10 for a family get together at this restaurant. Had family coming in from out of town. They cancelled my reservation on the SAME day of my reservation. I was told that because of Santacon, they were cancelling all reservations for that evening. I had to scramble to make another reservation for a larger party on a Saturday night.On top of that, I was told that I was going to be given a gift certificate to make up for the cancellation and no one ever got back to me.Rude and inconsiderate. Never again.

A group of 7 of us came in and I ordered a steak and was told "We are out of Steak". To my amazement the waiter was very non apologetic and after we ordered other food we were told that he was doing us a favor by giving us all our separate checks. I was floored. Worst experience ever and to top it off they had a fire in the fireplace out on the patio and it blew through the cracks in the window sill and basically smoked us out. Not a good experience with us and wouldnt recommend.

Decent food and alcohol selection but limited beer selection. The food was very poorly cooked. Somehow the same order of brussel sprouts had some that were undercooked and some that were overcooked and soggy. Meat was unflavorful and overcooked.

Excellent food, great service and even a great playlist of music on in the background! Enjoyed the short rib tacos and chicken wings for apps, bucatini scampi and lobster ravioli for entrees, and the zeppole for dessert. We really appreciated that our server wasn’t rushing us between courses, she gave us time to enjoy our drinks and our meal. Cocktails were all really well made too! Not to mention the bussers were very attentive as well. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Always enjoy the food here, but this review is for the staff.My girlfriend had a medical emergency in the parking lot, and their staff immediately jumped into action, calling the ambulance, getting her water, and waiting with us. Thank you so very much for your help.

The food was delicious on this father’s day however the music and the gentleman playing the music was incredibly loud. Too loud to even enjoy the ambiance and setting. Unfortunately this made the experience quite unpleasant.

The food was really good & there is a diverse menu. The bartender made good cocktails and was attentive. I give it a 4/5 for the overall ambiance: It was a little dark and could use a slight refresh.

This used to be one of our favorite place to eat. Not anymore. The staffIs young and inexperience . They kept coming over to clear our plates while we are still eating, rushing us thru our meal. It wasnt busy. They were playing loud rock music.It is now more of a bar scene, not a place for a quiet family meal.The food was good, pizza is still great. If you want to hang out for drinks, this is it. For a quiet meal with friends, this place is not it.

Service and food excellent. Our Server David was attentive and charismatic. We were celebrating Mothers Day and we had a great experience.

Good menu! The appetizers were the perfect portion for three people. On the Chefs Special menu was a truffle mushroom risotto for the day and it was amazing!

Bar Rosso is a quality bar and food destination. I was by myself and only had time for a cocktail and a custom made pizza. Both the cocktail and the pizza were made to perfection (the way that I had asked them to make it). That is the definition of good food and great service, "perfection" to me.

Did brunch here this last weekend and it was great. Food was delicious & the bottomless brunch allowed us to alternate between mimosas, all beers, sangria & bellinis. We will definitely be back for brunch!

I only gave it three stars because we had to send one of the meals back it was not good and my meal was not my favorite. But the bartender was very nice. My friend loves this place and raved about it. Maybe it was an off night.

Was really surprised at how below average this food was given the place always looks super busy! Thought we’d give it a try since there’s always lots of people at the outdoor patio and I’ve heard good things. The food was mediocre and honestly a little cold while not tasting like much of anything. Service was super slow. Even the gelato didn’t taste like anything. Underwhelming to spend $100 and leave hungry.

My sandwich was decent, I cannot judge too much because it was only my first time. But I would definitely come back to try more dishes. I’m confident that many of your dishes are actually very good, I just need to try more :)

The food was amazing. We came here for an end of the year party. Ive been here before and remember thinking the portions for the price were not great. Tonight however the dinner portions were amazing. We had the Banzino, which is fish with this amazing lemon sauce, mashed potatoes and spinach. Everything we had was tasty. Granted I didnt pay but if the price is right I will host something here. Oh and the service was amazing this time and the last time. Thanks guys for such a lovely night.

ive come here a couple of times, only for drinks but ive always been told they have great food and brunch so i had to try it. The brunch was amazing, they make their mimosas strong which is so rare. I got the spanish omelet, this is a pretty standard meal but it was exceptionally good! It was a great vibe as they had live music and football playing on a sunday early afternoon. We will definitely be back!

Very good. Try their Margarita pizza, amazing! Ive gone for the literary pub crawl there and the CT bar crawl. They have great specials and a great upstairs too. Definitely going for date night with my hubby.

Such a cute place for drinks and food. Loved the happy hour and they do give you a lot for your money. David is by far the best server his humor and laughter enlightens anyones crowd. He knows exactly when your drink is empty before its "empty" and he knows the menu by heart. Love this guy!

I had my wifes 30th bday there and the help from Erika and the staff was fantastic. Everyone said how good the food was, especially all the different pizzas and gluten free penne ala vodka. Highly recommend the prosciutto pizza.

Honestly I cant decide if this should be a one star or a two star review. Went for a birthday party in the room upstairs, which at first seemed pretty nice. Its got a door so you have some privacy, and you dont have to hear the rest of the restaurant. The room itself, its a wood floor, walls and ceiling. Very loud. An area rug or cheap carpeting would really go a long way here. Somehow our group of 25ish people ended up with one very overwhelmed, and frankly slow, waiter and one busboy that was actually very good. Constant reminders to them that we needed more drinks, water, food, where the dessert, and on and on. At no point did a manager or owner check in on the party to see how it was going. The food, if it was great, wouldve made up for a lot. It didnt. It was your basic wedding food. Not very warm, undercooked, bland and boring. Id never go back here, ever.TL;DR: slow, bland and loud

Came for ladies night and what a disappointment starting from the hostess ending with one of the bartenders! When we arrived clearly told the hostess that we were here for drinks, but she decided to give us a table. We asked the waitress what were the specials for ladies night and told us we had to either sit at the bar or at a high top. Well we decided to move to a hight top, sitting at the hight top no one comes we asked the hostess (who doesn’t a clue what goes on in this place at allif we had to order from the wait staff or at the bar, again she didn’t know so she had to go ask. Comes back and tell us we had to order from the bar. I go order at the bar bartender cared more about talking to her colleagues than attending the costumer waiting. Not sure if we were just been discriminated for been Hispanic (because the white folks were clearly getting a great serviceor they are just all snotty and stuck up but I’ll not be coming back to this place again. Even tho the food is good. The only person who gave us good service was Remy (I think that’s her name, she was a bartender). - update: Cesar the manager approached us and apologized for the bad service and experience. He personally took care of us with a couple of drinks on the house and also gave us a gift card. This is what great customer service should be like from the start! I hope that they train their employees to be friendly and to have knowledge of what is going on at the restaurant. Thanks Cesar!

Great Happy Hour menu. Had Fried Mozzarella, Margarita Pizza, and Veal Meatballs. Everything was delicious especially when paired with their happy hour Margaritas! Chicken Parmesan was good, but Ive had better. My friends thoroughly enjoyed themselves as well. Skirt steak in my opinion could have been a little more interesting. Overall great experience.

Excellent food and service! Scallops on risotto was so good and the lobster ravioli was also amazing. We also ordered 2 pizzas and they were really good as well. The only menu that we ordered that wasnt perfect was the burger - the patty was very salty (you could definitely taste grains of salt every bite...But other than the burger, everything was amazing! We saw a lot of people getting muscles; we will definitely try them next time. Looking forward to going back!

We went for a Birthday Party. We sat upstairs. We absolutely love the place! Cosy, warm, relax ! The room has a large window where you can see the downstairs! It makes you feel part of the entire restaurant, almost been in control of the place. The service was great. The staff was very nice, and came to ask how we where doing every 10 mnts. Overall we had a great time. Place was great! Food was excellent! services 10!thank you Bar Rosso. Will be back for more parties !
