Bar La Unidad in San Juan

I visited this bar a few months ago with a reservation for 4. The place is beautiful and the drinks were amazing. However, they give you a window period to be in their place. The waiters were insistent to place your order so there is no ample room for conversing with your party members. When your time is up, they tell you that you have to leave and give you the check for payment even when you want to keep ordering drinks and food. I assume this is because of high demand to go to this place. Take this into consideration when visiting this place and have a second bar option to go after your time is done.

cocktails are fantastic, so is the food. i only wish they were more select in their clientele, its definitely not a speakeasy when everyone is shouting and clapping.

Excelent drinks and attention

The cocktail game is A-1, no cap. On the hunt for a speakeasy in PR we stumbled upon this gem. The cocktails were very delicious and unique. The names are very clever and fun and the mixes were all intriguing. Tons of unique combinations of flavors.The interior is very dark and sexy. I recommend making a reservation as this saves headaches and time. I wont disclose how to find the spot because whats the fun in that lol. Enjoy the Hunt.The staff was very knowledgeable and the atmosphere inside is also very elegant and sexy. Next time Im in PR I will make another visit. Definitely a date night spot and be prepared to pay for quality. Cocktails do range at $15 price tags but honestly you look.fir.these types of places to elevate your experience and sometimes that means digging a bit deeper into your pocket. Very much worth it.

I came back after almost a year from my original review and this bar and restaurant continuing to improving, their quality of drinks, food, security and customer services. During my last visit I saw a art exhibition from one of the bars staff. Its by far one of my favorites places. A unique bar, great environment, with nice decoration and outstanding customer service. It serve food with great taste and better variety of drinks. Enjoy with the company of your best friends and love ones.

Some of the best cocktails in Puerto Rico and it’s not watered down like most places. But expect drinks to be $15+ per cocktail after taxes.

The space is very intimate and, most importantly, the cocktails are top-notch. The flavors were complex and well-balanced. Very inspired. Hoping to go back on our next visit.

Drinks were beautifully serviced. Ceviche was just what we needed to kick off the New Year’s Eve celebration. The place feels slick and wish we had friends with us to enjoy the atmosphere. Would suggest anyone to come if they want a speakeasy vibe.

The 1 drink I could have was good, server kept me waiting for the second drink and when she FINALLY came over she had my check on hand and said sorry I can only give you a beer if you want anything else. Im a bartender myself... wheres the "last call"?

Amazing speakeasy with incredible cocktails. Need to be texted by the super nice doorman to get in, but once you do, you will not be disappointed by any of the selections. Great vibe, good music, and perfect place for a nightcap!

Great cocktails! Also for bourbon fanatics, their distillery select Woodford Reserve is delicious! Good charcuterie plate as well. Valet is $5 if you can’t find parking.

Excelent cocktails and ambiance

This little hole in the wall was amazing!! We had the La Tropico and a Smoked Tea to start and they were great! We ordered the beef poutine and pork belly slidera and they were to die for! Then the barkeep went above and beyond to make us each a custom drink because we wanted a sirprise! Ill be going back here!!!
