Bar Immertreu in Berlin

Wir hatten einen ruhigen und angenehmen Geburtstagsabend in der Bar verbracht als wir gegen 1 Uhr morgens völlig überraschend und grundlos von dem extrem (!stark alkoholisierten Besitzer der Bar, der sich plötzlich zu uns stellte, verbal und körperlich angegangen wurden.Jeglicher Versuch der Deeskalation und Klärung, worin denn der Grund seiner Aufruhe läge, blieb komplett erfolglos, da er nicht mehr sprechfähig war und immer aggressiver wurde. Auf Bitten nach der Rechnung und dem Versuch der ruhigen Kommunikation mit dem durchaus freundlichen Barmann wurde der Besitzer nicht nur noch lauter, sondern schubste sowohl mich als auch meine Begleitung, woraufhin diese die Polizei rief, um um Hilfe zu bitten.Weder ich noch meine Begleitung haben jemals zuvor eine solche Situation erlebt. Wir alle wohnen in der direkten Nachbarschaft und werden diese Bar mit Sicherheit nie wieder besuchen.

One of the best bar experiences Ive had in a long time. Even though we were in Berlin for a short time it was a place we had to go back a few more times.

The cocktails and the nice american ladys service was a dream!Unfortunately we forgot to make pictures of the unusual, spicy drinks.

Main barman is terribly rude. I came once, he gave me a card to make a reservation or told me to come early. Today I went at 8.30pm bar was empty and he was rude again and told us to leave because we didn’t have a reservation. You can be kind and be helpful about it but not such an a———le. Honestly won’t come back, and don’t even think going there if you are not German, he will talk to you even worse. True Berlin experience I guess

I drank a hands down better Sazerac here as the amazing one I did in Dandelyan, the worlds best bar in 2018. I think this sums up my experience in Immertreu.

One of my favourite bars in Berlin. This place has it all and never fails to deliver.Make sure you are here for serious drinking and bring cash. You will be served booze forward drinks in a classy atmosphere with a bar that appears to be endless. Try all the classics with a modern twist and you will not be disappointed.Be mindful that you can smoke inside, but there a few seats that you can sit use if you sit out on the street.

Very easily some of the best cocktails I have had in Berlin. The bartenders are true artists and work with top of the line spirits and condiments to create cocktails that are above and beyond the above average cocktail bars. They use very exotic ingredients and do justice to them. Quite pricey but every bit worth it. Hiding away in a quiet residential street of prenzlauer berg. I recommend this place to anyone who thinks they know good cocktails and I am sure theyd be surprised.

Serious drinkin. Extremely cool bar with a great vibe and dangerously strong delicious cocktails. It aint cheap here and be prepared to pay 10€ and up for your drink but itll be amazing. I love that they are always playing a 90s hiphop soundtrack from a solid sound system. Cash only. No Wi-Fi.

Interessante locale per un cocktail dopo cena. La carta è piacevole e varia ma sono rimasto un po colpito dalla mancanza dellEspresso Martini e quindi più in generale di tutti i cocktails col caffè. In compenso ottime variazioni dei grandi classici soprattutto sullOld Fashioned.

Good classical bar with a nice atmosphere, good selection of drinks and great service. I definitely recommend it.

All-around excellent and yet totally unpretentious. You cant get that combination anywhere else in Berlin. Beware, and I mean that in the most positive way possible: Not a place for shallow entertainment. Forget the outside for some hours, get in with some very good friends and enjoy the service and drinks. To sum it up: Just go and have the great time many of the hipster bars in the area cant give you nowadays.

After 3 years of living in Berlin I can say with certainty that they make the best cocktails here in the city.

Its almost like a secret treasure. Two visits in two nights and will definitely go back whenever I get my next chance.Not easy to notice, so look for the green light.

This place is amazing! Really recommend it if you are looking for a nice place to go in Berlin. They serve snacks and water for free and the drinks are not expensive. The area has a good mood and the service is spectacular. It will look like it is closed but you just have to ring and they will open the door for you: very exclusive and nice vibes. You will be missing something if you don’t try! The only thing that I recommend is for them to get a playlist that mixes the songs so you don’t have those seconds without any song playing.

Not my favorite craft cocktail style - they don’t measure the ingredients and the drinks are not always balanced.

Hidden treasure. Quality cocktails, sexy atmosphere and nice clientele. Good secret spot for dates and lazy ciggares. Prices are high, so they keep certain kind of level.

Lovely drinks and great lounge atmosphere. Perfect for cocktail lovers who like to have a nice conversation and enjoy great drinks.

Charming Bar with elegant flair.I landed here when I was doing a bar crawl with a friend on a Friday for getting to know the neighbourhood. The unimpressive appearence made us sceptical but it was super inside.The bar has a very special charme of old times. Classy and modern interior, not to crowded and snobby but cosy. We were sitting at the bar, because tables were reserved, it was never the less pleasant. Smoking is allowed, but it was not to smoky at that evening. Prieces are higher, after spending some time there it felt ok because the service is really great. There were three bar keepers (which I find remarkable for size and location of the bar compared to other bars aroundelegantly dressed and very considerate. Besides the drinks, a glass of water was served and a bowl of snacks. Both was filled several times with out any word. Drinks were well mixed and with high quality ingedients.The only negative was that I got a strange look after taking the bill (as a girl).

Unique bar experience!

The bar sign reads, “Serious drink’n. No Wifi. Cash Only”, and that’s really all you need to know. A few minutes walk from Beckett’s Kopf, the drinks are all classics or variations on the classics – such as the Black Walnut Manhattan or Insomnia cocktail of saffron gin and peach bitters. These guys are so dedicated to ‘serious drink’n’, they’ll even bring out freshly iced glasses should your Martini or Last Word look to be losing its chill.

Great staff and selection of drinks. Very friendly. -1 star only for smoking inside.

My personal favourite bar in Berlin! Service is amazing and drinks far better than you would ever imagine!

Cool bar in former East Berlin (one of 1st bars after the wall came down). Very large bar w/ stylish, comfy, retro vibe. Owner def takes pride in making great drinks. Came in thirsty .. craving a refreshing tap beer. They didnt have tap beer but 3 options of bottled beer. My choice was a light beer ("Tegenseer Hell")..which was really refreshingly served in chilled glasses. Very happy w/ it so far.. after 7th or 8th one ; Its a smokers bar which my girlfriend didnt like ... but it didnt bother me cause fan worked pretty well.Great experience overall! Thx

Sign on the door says: no creditcard, no wifi, serious drinking onlyReality.. cocktails are good.. Yet, come early and leave early if you want to avoid intoxication by cigaret smoke. If this place were smoke free, I would rate it much higher.

For serious drinkers this is without doubt one of the finest drinking establishments in Berlin, if not the World.

Arrogance and bad service meet bad drinks.Be sure to never order an old fashioned or prepare for karies.
