Bar 56 in Bradford

Our first visit here. Barmans food arrived shortly after we did and he sat eating it at the end of the bar. Really poor. No atmosphere, not welcoming. Unbelievable.

Great Portugese Lager and Im a Bitter Drinker👍

We went there on Friday 27/9/2019 approx 21.30 it was dead and not surprising why...between 4 of us we got 2 pints and 2 half pints of lager from 2 different lager pumps!!! They looked and tasted exactly the same as in rolla cola type lager I have been drinking lager for 30 years and mine which should have been Amstel was definitely not. My guess is these clowns are selling cheap lager as branded and I bet the pipes run into the same barrel.

Nice place with friendly staff and nice selection of drinks. Can lack atmosphere when there arent many people in and get noisy when its busy.

Tidy bar with good atmosphere

We popped in to watch one of the England games because the Rosse a couple of doors down was packed and it was impossible to get served in there or even fit into the place. It is a strange place if I’m honest. The beer is not very inspiring.. at all. When I asked the guy behind the bar if he had an IPA in the fridge he didn’t know what I was talking about. There were only 8 people or so in the place so we were able to watch the game easily. I saw someone order a pizza and it didn’t look too bad to be fair.

Brilliant service and great food. Seven of us when for a meal and all had the food was amazing. Tasty and fresh. Great value.

Bar 56 is a great place it has friendly and helpful staff and tasty good food and an enormous selection of drinks ypu should definitely go there.

Called in to watch European Championship Final. Bar was crowded but the service was good and the staff friendly.

Decent bar and it sells Sagres!
