Bangert Park - Park and Garden in Florissant, United States
Laid Back
Well kept place with a lot of services.
Lovely park. Swimming pool is awesome. Need more parking spaces.
Good nice quiet park to take the kids
Has a pool and a tank! Pretty cool if you ask me
Went to play pickleball. The converted tennis court is asphalt, tired old net and squiggly drawn boundary lines. It would be so nice if Florissant parks would put a buck or two into the court which could be 2 side by side courts. Needs resurfacing, new nets and properly painter boundaries and pickleball kitchen. Pickleball is here to stay...may as well make these courts useable. Please!
really we were at the library but bangert is one of our faves
Great place with young ones
They just built a new playground up by the library and it looks so fun!!!! Im so glad they got rid of the old playground!!! Go check it out!!!!!!
The pool area is pretty small but i love the park n picnic stands, also the library next door a plus
Love the history of this park. Great venue for schools to tour.
Its a nice place to visit. Everything is out in the Open. Theres a pool And a Library All Right there at the Park.
The pool was great until someone threw up in it.........
Great place! Old fashioned park, i rememver playing on the tank when i was a kid
Good place to take the kids swimming. Not the best neighborhood but thats what we get to deal with living in North County.
Nice little park. The restroom was cool and clean
It is a very beautiful Park with lots of trees and open space. There is a tennis court and a place to play horseshoes and a couple covered picnic areas with barbecue pits. There is also a volleyball court and childrens play area, as well as the well-known army tank that is on display. Wheelchair parking close to the St Louis County library and bangert water park. Located close to doozles ice cream. There is drinking fountains along the paths but do not seem to be operational neither or the bathrooms seem to be unlocked. There is Big shade trees and a drainage Canal runs the length of the park.
The park is perfect for many occasions including big parties to little picnics. It has a play ground for the kids, a covered picnic table area to hold at least 50+ people, and giving your imagination there is l unlimited ideas for fun.
We used the pool which on the website shows hours are from 12:30pm to 6. However this day for some reason they were closing at 4 but still wanted full price for tickets. I didnt want to disappoint my kid so I paid it.😒
This pool is great & so are the lifeguards...they did close early but it was a good reason to not let me son talk me into staying late. Staffing has been challenging for everyone and they deserve grace.
Great pool for children and family
Great place for a picnic good fetal price. Watch out for deposit. Right behind the pool.
Church picnic under the pavilion, beautiful weather. Fun had by all.
Two separate pavilions to reserve, great playground for kids n walking path
Fun safe place for kids to play.
This park does not have much but what is does have is perfect. This park is well taken care of. Always looks good during the summer time. The pool is awesome friendly staff and so are the city workers I have seen there ... I would recommend this park to anyone looking for a nice day out.
Lovely, peaceful, and relaxing, Bangert Park is a great spot to unwind. Its also home to a beautiful pool and well stocked library with a fantastic staff. There is a nice sized lot for roughly 100 cars, including spaces for the physically challenged or disabled.
Not a very easy park to ride through and check out. I had to go around the library and through the parking lot just to get back to the playground and pavillion. When the pool is closed there isnt much else to do there and the parking kinda sucked
Pool very nice. Music was a bit loud and hard to have conversations. Otherwise enjoyed it.
Nice clean place e observational life Guards. I wish the big 7de wS working. Not over crowded. Thanks for providing a nice place in North county.
It has water to come out the ground not too big just perfect for little kids trying to stay cool
Nice place, pool to left of the Library, more parking in back of library, I added a couple pictures from the rear parking lot. Kids playground outside the pool is small but good.
Got 2c children playing on swings together. Free as can be just beautiful especially when color doesnt exist in their eyes.
Small tennis court and playground. Simple park nothing fancy. If you are into tanks maybe stop by and have lunch to look. Bathrooms are closed at the moment.
Stopped by while on leave visiting family. Still very clean and well taken care of. Great childhood memories were made here, and I hope future generations will continue to enjoy the park as I, and others before me had
This is one of the 7th best parks in Florissant Missouri I goes to this park all the time as well as the Saint Louis County Florissant Valley Library
Nice pickleball court! Too bad not any players around here...
Always love this place. Wish it didnt cost so much sometimes and was easier to get resident discount but the renovations are nice and its a safe place. Excited for when it reopens next summer.
Our Annual Family reunion was a success however the attack of the flies were in full effect we barely could enjoy the scenery of the area due to all the flies it was terrible even the children were bothered in all i can say great location but very bad pesticide treatments on the park grounds
Once again we had a blast. I live in south city but i have to drive to north county just to go swimming. Staff is always pleasant i pay the fee for being a non resident , we are allowed to swim and we enjoy ourselves.
Has playground, swimming pool with driving boards, slides, kid swimming area with active life guards on duty. Concession stand is available. Also, one of the St. Louis County Libraries is right next to the waterpark area. Playground area also includes sand volleyball net. Pavilions and Bbq pit are also included.
I always remembered this park fondly from my childhood, having grown up in Florissant. The tank is still there and the recently remodeled Florissant Valley branch of the St. Louis County Library is located right at the edge of the park.
This park is next to my favorite library; Florissant Valley. The park is always clean & busy with families at the pool during that season, playground on nice days! The library has been upgraded has something for everyone from children to seniors- types of programs, book signing, etc.
Wow!! I had not been here in years. The place has been revamped and remodeled. It looks great. The secured individual study rooms along the outside, really provide an excellent learning environment. I will definitely be coming back here more often
One of the best parks in Florissant. Theyre swimming pool area is awesome and it has a lot of options as to what to play on. They also have very nice playgrounds around the area
Beautiful park in the heart of florissant. I didnt visit the pool as it was March and Freezing cold outside. The park appeared well cared for very minimal trash on the ground for our event.
My kids love visiting this park for the playground, swings and the tank that they can climb on. The park also offers an outdoor swimming pool in the summer months for a nominal fee with a kids sprayground, water slides, diving boards and lap swimming area. Also a nice Pavillion for picnics.
Very fun water park. Lots of life guards on duty. Area for small children and two slides for bigger children and adults. Also there is a diving board.
I wish it was a way to give 0 stars. This is the most racist place I ever experienced. If you are black person you are only allowed to stand still in the pool. They pretty much blow the whistle at everything you do including hold your 3 year old child. Also my small cousin is autistic and made the horrible mistake of touching one of the guards and she acted as if she had been affected by the black plague. However if youre caucasian go knock yourself out you will have a BLAST!!!
The pool looks nice but..adults have to pay $10 and ages 12-17 have to pay $8. Also when I went swimming with my sister we were the only blacks in the pool for a time. We did we got a whistle blown at us for floating. Seriously...floating. then we were told that we couldnt go on the deep side. Nobody was diving or anything but we still couldnt go. Then when other blacks arrived they stayed on the lazy river. A whistle was blown every 3 seconds at them and all they were doing was sitting in the pool playing with their children. While all of this is happening the white kids are doing flips, handstands diving over each other (On the shallow end of the pool. Last time i checked was super dangerousand nobody said anything to them. Unfair.Honestly, I could have kept my money. That was a complete waste. If you Colored please save yourself some money and dont do it.
