Riverfront natural area with trails, picnic facilities & activities such as fishing & canoeing.
Beautiful place to go get away for a spell.
FYI: this actually closes at 10pm and opens at 6am.Really unique and well kept park! Other than some vandalism from local jerks, awesome place to visit!
Nice place to fish and have a calming day by water.
I visited this park 4 times within a month from the first time a colleague recommended it. It’s a beautiful place to behold. It reminds me so much of the rain forests of west Africa. If you want to escape the hullabaloo going on out there it’s the place to be. You could rent a bike, boat, kayaks etc or just chill.Summary: Awesome!
Excellent spot to walk or disc golf in this time of year. Lots of shade and Excellent trails
This is a great little park with a big dock, typically covered in sun bathers. If youre tired of the parking lot at Argo, head over here to put your boat in the water. Youre only slightly upriver and its far less crowded usually. Theres also a spot nearer the road entrance where you can sneak a boat into the water.
Lovely trails for walking and biking and the river to kayak or tubing.
Nice small little park. Normally pretty busy with rowers and people hanging out on the dock. Has a dirt bike track/park. Has a port a potty.
Michigan has so much natural beauty to offer this time of year and Bandemer helps me enjoy that
Nice little of the road spot but... Grass is over grown, hand sanitizers empty
Went to chuck some plastic here and it was a fun short technical course that was free! Ill definitely be back.
Good simple golf course and some nice running trails. Has a couple of bridges to jump off of.
Great park. Lots of activities to do including tubing and Kayaking. Cross the dam to the other side for livery rentals.B2B trail is quite scenic and pleasant to walk, do stop by near the dam to enjoy the water. One of the best parks in Ann Arbor.
Good challenging course 9 baskets 3 tees for each. Only one hole does not drain well after rain. Nice variety of elevation and technical shots.
Love this park. Lots of space to just walk around and relax. The view of the river is great too.
A hidden gem in the A2 area. The park is always clean and provides a peaceful escape that is a quick drive/bike ride from downtown.
Running through this park is great. Its very easy to access some of the citys other wonderful parks as well. Check this out if you havent already!
Its a great place with excellent trails. A very nice pavilion and public bathroom. Disc golf course is challenging and fair well maintained with 3 different difficulty concrete key pads.
Nice park to watch the crew teams practice. Plenty of trails to walk. Kayak and canoe launch is nice. Pavilion and bathrooms as well.
Great place to take a walk. So relaxing to walk by the river. Several choices of what path to take. There is a place to rent kayaks and tubes as well. Plus there are spots to have a picnic, some people choose to fish and sun bathe.Picture of the water is the trail by Argo Cascades.
With in the small city of Ann Arbor its a great place to get away!!! Tons of shade and a great place to pull out your hammock and relax
Nice area peaceful. The pavilion needed some maintenance. Dog feces were not picked up by their walkers.
Personally my favorite 9 hole course.Tight fairways from some of the long tees, but nothing too difficult to bird.It could use some trimming, but its nothing you cant play through.
Empty most of the time, but really busy in the summer. You can use a kayak too.The trees are really green and bring a nice view in the spring/summer.
Its great going for a walk through the paths near the river, but my favorite spot is across the street under the canopy created by the tall trees.
Has Disc Golf course well maintained and chipped, kayaking, fishing spots, canoe rental, a dirt bike course with jumps, RC car track, walking paths, nice place to stop if you have the time.
Really enjoyed the park! Primarily walked. Took the path to Argo, and crossed the river and back to the park. I also walked most of the disc 💿 golf ⛳ course. I was impressed how well it was marked and the multiple tees for each hole. I labeled the closest tee as "senior 🧓 tees" so I can feel good using them.
Great place to disc golf, been taking my kids here lately and they always have fun, just dont loose your disc in the woods! Cant beat the price either as its free!
Great walking trail along the river. This park has some nice trails but its developed with a disc golf course and bike pass in the walk takes you into a more industrial area.
Bandemer is a very nice 9 hole disc golf course. The course has lots of woodchips which is nice. The course is well maintained and the parking lot is 10 feet from the course.
This park might be my favorite place in the entire world. Has disc golf, the river, birds... What else is there
I came here back in the middle of December to meet up with my buddy to fly drones. I had just got mine recently before that. He suggested that I meet him here. I have to say I was impressed with this park. Its a beautiful park. I cant wait to come back out here when the weather is warmer.
One of the prettiest views from a freeway underpass Ive ever seen. Love the beautiful views of Bird Hills, Argo Nature Area, Argo Dam, Argo Cascades, Huron River and the skyline. Trail gets busy with bikes and runners, young/learner cyclists can be a little overwhelmed. Good views of people illegaly crossing railroad tracks. It will be amazing when you can connect to Bird Hills, Barton Nature Area, the Treeline and the Michcon development. Dam crossing is way too narrow and is highly treacherous when ice is present.
Park has everything. Long trails, frisbee golf course, free parking and kayak.
BMX dirt jumps were rutted out, overgrown, and not indicated on wayfinding signage. Stopped on way through town for our son to ride there. Seems they had been sweet lines at one point but we were very disappointed.
For years Ive been going to University of Michigan Hospital and was always seeing this park from the highway. I always thought it looked so beautiful. So finally dropped down and it didnt disappoint.First there is the river with plenty of easily accessible areas for kayaks. They even have rentable kayak lockers. There is a disc golf course in a wooded area that looked fun and challenging. There is paved trails for bikers. There is also a really nice dirt track for bikes with great hills and jumps. I was shocked I didnt see a soul out there tearing it up.Easily packed trails will wind you along the river with many smaller trails that will get you down to nice fishing spots.I didnt get too far but found a beautiful pond they use for study that was full of sunning turtles, beautiful birds, the music of calling frogs and birds and buzzing damsel and dragon flies. I even got into a staring contest with a muskrat. All the beauty you expect from wooded riverland in Michigan. Its a large and amazing park system with ample parking, picnic areas, clean bathrooms (plumbing free type so remember hand wipesand a large bonfire spit so they definitely have scheduled activities. Its become my favorite spot to unwind after a day of cancer testing down at the University. An absolutely phenomenal park.
Nice park for wildlife viewing, biking, hiking and canoeing!
Or in backwoods bug spray! Disc golf, fire pit, grills! Go wild yay ahahahusdihntjrkrkekd 🥰🤗🔥
Great walking trails, disc golf course and a perfect place to be in the water. This park has easy access to the Huron River for dropping a kayak or canoe. Down river is Argo, crew, and a dam. Bring the whole family and enjoy one of Ann Arbors many outdoor parks.
For getting your steps in, talking your dog for a walk, playing disc golf or launching your watercraft, this is a great Park, near my home, asphalt trail as well as woodsie ones. Runners, bikers and walkers all can enjoy the river view while doing their thing! UM rowers launch along this part of the Huron River.
10/10 would recommend. it can be crowded in peak times but its free completely restrooms and a bike path some honey holes by the river if you can find em the disc golf course is choice and is beginer friendly 9 holes 27 concrete pads each boasting a different look at the basket radically changing the holes woodchipped fairways its in the heart of ann arbor so peace and love man
Beautiful park and so far my favorite disc golf course! I am still learning and the short pads offer me an opportunity to get par most of the time which is more than kinda cool.
A beautiful park right off the 23/14 freeways. Great for biking, trail walking, running... It is also an easy entrance point for a canoe or kayak. There is a Frisbee Golf Course, a dirt biking course (with big moundstucked in here too. It is not on the map but it is there. People often come here to fish under the freeway or along the banks. Today is a quiet lovely summer evening and it is a perfect place to be. Someone had even put locks on the bridge (like the love locks bridge in Paris).
Another one of Ann Arbors great parks. Part of the border to border trail, follows the Huron River from the Barton Nature Area to the Argo Cascades. Disc Golf. Dirt bike area. And a great place to walk your dogs.
This is a wonderful hidden gem of a disc golf course. 9 holes throughout the woods and red, white and blue tees! Each look at the basket is interesting and unique to the others. Glow disc golf is done here.
A great place to run and enjoy riverside activities. The disc golf course is a local favorite. Three difficulties in a wooded setting, but with no elevation changes. Casual glow golf every week almost year round. Google maps "HURON BRIDGE PARK" or youll end up on the wrong side of the river, park, and highway, going in circles.
Nice (longpeaceful park. Good walking trails, good parking & canoe/kayak storage rental is available from the city. Also shelters are available to rent. Nice physical buffer from the disc golf. Lovely views of the river, pretty clean composting toilets (I have kids & have been to events here, gotta think of these things!). Great star, storm & cloud spotting at night. Doesnt feel like its in Ann Arbor to sit on the docks at night & watch stars. Picture includes part of the dock.
For the disc-golf course: Nice 9-hole (3 cement tees per basketcourse in the woods. Each tee is a unique shot. Playable in nearly all weather, year round, and caters to any skill level.
The disc golf course here is very small and full of trees. Not a very clean course either--there was a lot of trash when I visited last. Its a good challenge if youre trying to work on technical shots with lots of obstacles.
A wonderful place to have some fun! Has a fun frisbee golf course that goes along the river. Also had several access points to the water. Has a few nice trails for a jog or bike ride. One good thing to know though is that there are two entrances. One is off of Main Street and the other is off of Whitmore Lake Road. These two entrances do not connect by a road through the park. There is a walking path that connects the two sides however.
