Ocean served us and she was friendly and helpful :food was slightly greasy but that could be just the dish I ordered (blackened vegan noodles). I was a bit bamboozled by the vegan chickn skewers as they have quite a meaty texture, these tasted nice and were not greasy. Thank you.

Absolutely lovely service. We were seated very quickly by a friendly waiter. We didnt have to wait a lot for drinks, appetizers, mains or desserts. Our waiter came to check if everything was okay and was very friendly and helpful when asked for help with ordering. The music was a bit loud when we wanted to talk but its expected in a bar/restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing, delicious dishes done to perfection. Couldnt have asked for a better experience.

First time in a Banana Tree branch, although my other 2 friends visit before and even worked for Banana Tree long time ago. We were really happy with the service and staff was great! Horatiu (barista guywas suuuuper friendly especially with my nephews by interacting with them and they were really enjoying it! Food was delicious and very quick served at the table and desserts also. Thise pancakes were AMAZING! 😅 overall, thank you guys for the amazing customer service. We felt great! Definitely will come back and recommend this place to everyone!

Osman was awesome! Amazing service! I have now been served by Osman at the bar and he is charming and welcoming to our group of friends. I would 100% Recommend to friends and family and return again!

Man what can I say it was a lovely experience with family, food, however, was delicious or some say bussing but aint a big fan of those peas as a starter but overall YOUR BOI was full with the buy one and get one free drink it gives you a extra boost, would I go their again umm YES OFC I will 😉

Amazing food and service!! Partner accidentally booked for the next day and the waitress was kind enough to fit us in still!! Osman the bar man was lovely and bubbly! Great service, food and drinks! Will visit again :)

We went out for team lunch and I had Bo Bun Salad with grilled chicken which was so delicious. Staff were friendly and provided such a great service with the drinks and food. I definitely recommend.

When I called I was told we could just walk in and would get a table. We had to wait 1 hour on arrival. The experience was mediocre at best and food was average. They even overcharged us but we got the money back when we noticed. I would rate the food a 5/10 and the ambiance and place a 4/10. Staff at front desk 2/10 and service was a 8/10. I probably won’t return. The place opposite seemed more buzzing.

Visited this restaurant few days ago and I must say that me and my family had a lovely meal. All staff were very attentive and friendly, even the Lady Manager checked on us if we had everything what we needed. Nice chill place, great value for money.

So delicious! I come back here every time Im in MK! And its halal which is a huge win for me!

Exceptional laksa, although could have used more noodles. The Thai green curry was good but could have used some chilli and perhaps a bit more thickness to the sauce. Staff forgot about our mains so it was a fair wait, but got given complimentary drinks which was nice. Would return.

Great food and great experience!I love their Seafood Laksa Soup and their sweetcorn fritters are to die for!Only let down was service during busy times as I can see them chilling and talking while customers are seeking for assistance. It’s also quite pricey now.

Truly a great night out in MK! The food and drinks are terrific, and with the happy hour specials, its hard to say no to seconds! Our server, Ocean, was incredibly friendly and super helpful, and all in all made sure we had nothing short of an amazing night. Well definitely be coming back for more!

We were waited on by Ocean, they were very polite, clear, communicative and helpful. We always felt attended to, a simple look up getting attention when needed.The food was delicious and hardly any wait for food or drinks either.

Had the pad thai and mango lime chicken with egg fried rice. Both meals were excellent, very delicious and food arrived super fast. Calamari wasnt amazing but based on the rest of the food we would 100% return again.

We were looking for a place to hangout and we chose this spot. First, it has a beautiful ambience which was ideal for the night - less light. We were a bit confused about where to sit at first. There was a demarcation for drinks and food. We eventually spoke to someone and they helped. The food section was at the right coming in through the door.The food was really good as it was my first time eating an Asian soup. We had a good time and making payment was the easiest. No papers and cards and machines. 😂Again, we had to ask about the payment part as we sat there for long hoping that the paper would come.The staff were really friendly and polite.I’ll recommend this place if you are looking to enjoy Asian food.

Came with high expectations after our experience at the Chelmsford branch, however were disappointed. The vietnamese coffee we looked forward to wasnt served at this branch and neither did they have the instore made special chilli sauce. Our food was lacking in authenticity and the flavours a little lacking really.Out of the five different waiters/waitresses serving our table, only two were seemed to know about table service and the menu. One of the waitresses didnt know the names of any of the dishes and didnt seem to care to know or where peoples heads are situated when serving food. No accidents happened luckily.The pandan pancakes were nice, the blackened monk noodles and Jawa chicken (no pictureswas also alright.I booked it last minute for a large group online with special requests ( did require a £20 deposit which wasnt charged unless of no-showand it was very nice of the restaurant to accommodate us.This branch had some cool swing chairs and the lower table seats as well.No complaints about hygiene, everything was nice and clean.At the time we went, it was still fine for dinner with young children.Note: female toliets are one floor up.

Have been to this Banana Tree several times in the past and have loved it, but sadly its the time that we had a very poor experience that sticks out.We waiting for nearly 5 minutes for someone to come greet us at the door and seat us, we had a reservation, and the restaurant was hardly busy.After being seated it took what seemed like ages for anyone to come over and take our order. In the end we were sitting there crossed arms looking quite fed up which seemed to get the attention of the waiter.Our starters arrived before our drinks, all we ordered was a coke and a beer, hardly taxing. When the mains arrived one of them was cold. The food we had was good hence why they get two instead of one star, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Really disappointed.

As soon as I walked in I knew from the grumpy and disinterested manager that this was going to be a bad experience. Called earlier in the day to make a booking and was told we didn’t need to as it wasn’t that busy. Soon as I got there I was asked if I had a booking, and I explained that I had called earlier and was met with the rude remark that they are booked up today. The restaurant was empty and it’s not hard to see why. Anyway sat down and started to look at the menu, quickly decided what we was having and proceeded to order. I had to order from the allergy menu, and I ordered PHO. Was told that this was not on the menu and had not been on the menu for months and that I should’ve realised that from looking at my wife’s normal menu. I gladly left, as I was originally looking for a Vietnamese restaurant and this popped up.

We went to Banana Tree and ordered from their express lunch menu.The food portions were huge! Unlike some restaurants, they did not make the portions smaller as we were ordering from a lunch time offer.We were also able to order from their happy hour, and the mocktails were yummy.The food was delicious and full of flavour, and the service was quick and friendly.We are looking forward to going back soon!

Way too noisy and they kept turning up the volume which ruined the family night out. We just wanted to eat up and get out quick as we could to get home and actually be able to talk to each other. Food was pretty good. If the environment were better, Id score higher.

Perhaps if you eat at the restaurant the experience is better, but the food isn’t good if you order online. My prawn Pad Thai was burnt, came with no peanuts (so was just noodles with burnt scrambled eggand only included 2 prawns. I think if you’re paying £12.95 for a prawn Pad Thai, it should come with more than just 2 prawns. Wouldn’t order from here again.

Food was top notch and the decor was nice. I do however have one gripe. I wanted to know the price and for that they handed me a takeaway menu and as I sat down and ordered, they told me the price was different. I know in places the prices for eating in and takeaway are different and its understandable. Why then, there was a service charge included on top of the food being more expensive for eating in was beyond me. Anyway, Id still order from them because I lime the spicy noodle that I had.

Absolutely divine. Cannot fault them. Lived up to my expectations. The food is amazing. TRY THE BANANA TREE SPICED NOODLES 😍😍 a few cocktails to try; the BLACK RICE PUDDING with COCONUT ICE CREAM was sooo good. Decor was fab; very picturesque. Perfect for the next insta post. Will definitely be returning.

Good atmosphere and cool style restaurant.Wish 2 4 1 cocktails had been any 2 for 1 not 2 of the same but otherwise drinks were good.Food was nice - nothing amazing and similar to other chains. I enjoyed what I had but thought it was a bit overpriced for what it was.Would be a great place for group nights out!

Food is exceptional. Happy Hour is back again 🍸🍸. Best meal for Vegans etc...my son loves the Chicken Noodle Bowl. Wish i could work here.Staff are extremely helpful.

Food here is good and quite authentic. Place is posh but prices are fair. Staffs are friendly too. We enjoyed the food here and will come again.

Lots of vegan options but a little pricey so not great value for money. But nice environment.

I went there for collection after seeing the high reviews on Google. I ended up getting the Thai Green Chicken Curry, Vietnamese Monks Spring Rolls & Jasmine rice. The curry and rice was very good and enjoyed the slight heat that it gave from the broth. Also Im not the biggest fan of lemongrass, so was not the best I have ever had as it was fairly strong in that department, but if you like that taste you will love it.There are some really strange things about the place though. You can only get certain Thai curries on deliveroo, not in restaurant or for pickup which is really odd. Another being you can only get Thai red curry in one single form which I prefer over green, but if you want red it has to be seafood and no other option like beef, chicken etc. Furthermore the menu on the website has recently been redesigned Im told by staff, its really bad, no pdf just a bunch of pictures you have to click through. In the end I just resorted to reading the deliveroo menu and then placed a pickup order over the phone.On an ending note the staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was generally good hence why I decided to give it 5 stars. I acknowledge and understand its not even the branch franchise owners fault for the small gripes I have, its the high level owners for the weird selections/rules they have enforced upon them.Also i just want to mention please, please, please stay away from the Vietnamese Monks Spring Rolls (see pic). They cost me £6.45 and you get 4 tiny morsels. They are literally bog standard vegetable spring rolls (forget the fancy namethat you can get from any Chinese takeout. Comparatively I can get 8 pcs for 3.50 at my local that taste exactly the same for half the price & double the amount given. Daylight robbery at its finest.Anyhow the weird stuff aside I will be back because the staff are great and the menu is pretty large so I have a lot more to try. I just hope next time I visit the senior management does their franchise partners a favour and sorts out all that nonsense that I described.

The meal was lovely, service with a smile, atmosphere was a little noisy but it was a Saturday night! Pudding was amazing.

If I could give it 6 stars then I would, the best laksa I had in a while, full of flavour,the beef Randang has an inexplicable taste, full of flavour, the chocolate fondant burst in your mouth and youll be in chocolate heaven, I cannot stress enough the amazing flavours that I have experienced. Highly highly recommended.

Delicious food as always. Had the chargrilled duck which was beyond delicious, a bit pricey as it came with no sides unlike other dishes.

I love this place. The ambiance is great with lovely features. It is very relaxing and you feel very welcome. The staff was courteous and helpful. The food was really good and we left staffed! Great quality, great variety of dishes and really nice cocktails. Fantastic food, great atmosphere and family friendly but if you’re allergic to nuts this is not your hangout.Only the chicken is halal.

The portions served to us were just right & its not really heavy in the stomach. Customer service was good! Glad to know that this restaurant is halal & doesnt serve pork. Staff listens to the customers wants of food so I was not disappointed :and food was quite fast! I will definitely be coming back here!

A little too efficient. It took a while to get noticed and seated but after that service was very quick. I had the vegan laksa which was as expected and tasted very good. However the noddles had been pre cooked as some of them were clumped together and it seemed had just been added to the broth which made the food go cold sooner than expected. No sooner had I finished the meal the bill was brought over and payment taken whilst I was still finishing my drink. Seems like they like to turn tables quickly.

Went as a table of four. I have an egg allergy which I pointed out upon arrival, our waiter immediately directed me where to go so that I could check for allergens. This was easy to access and very informative and well labeled. There was plenty available to cater to both my allergy, and two friends who are vegan. We were also told that there was happy hour going on so buy one get one cocktail free so we took advantage of this great offer which I appreciated them informing us of the offer. All food and drinks were absolutely amazing from the presentation, to the taste and the temperature at which the food arrived. It was still hot, and all the flavours were amazing. We will definitely be coming back again.

Been here twice and food and 2-4-1 drinks were great! However when we got the bill the service charge added was before the 2-4-1 offer was applied, so it was 10% of what the bill would have been if we didnt have 2-4-1. We just asked for that to be removed and we added our own tip. Also it closed at 11.30pm on Saturday instead of 12pm like the hours on Google say.
