Beautiful and quiet place with a clean pool and amazing scenery! Great to just spend a day there and relax (their Pina coladas are sooo good👌🏼Lots to see, a jaguar, parrots and the Art gallery.Cozy cabanas if you plan to stay over night 🌙 and if you have kids check out their horse camps!

Nice and quiet getaway from all the hastle of the City.

Unfortunately the lunch wasnt as expected, few choices only. Maybe the rooms are better, but being there just for lunch doesnt deserve the trip. Apart for the parrots there, they are fantastic

The atmosphere was unforgettable! The landscape, architecture, pool, and animals make Banana Bank a piece of paradise. The staff was friendly and helpful — I havent seen customer service like this in a long time! You wont want to skip the delicious family style meals they serve, or the trail rides they offer. With their help, its a wonderful experience even for the most inexperienced rider. We only did an hour long ride and we saw so much that we wouldnt have seen otherwise. The guides were fantastic.Dont forget to bring bug spray, and if you stay in the cabanas, it wouldnt hurt to pack a mosquito net.

The ride on a dirt road was definitely worth it. Such a lovely & private spot...swimming pool, horses, native floral & fauna & delicious lunch. The art studio & museum were great to see as well.

A beautiful place to go swim for the day! They have nice birds and a jaguar to look at. They also have a little museum and the owner is super friendly. She talked to us about the paintings that she herself painted. Also close to the river.

Jaguars, parrots, and peacocks nestled within rainforest beside a river. Need I say more?Really unique building with curved staircases and beautiful scenery! Give the spider monkey a scratch if you dare or atleast give the little guy some fruit. Well worth the money!

The owner was awesome and so kind. I enjoy my self on the horses. Our tour guys were great and we had fun on the horses.

The best jungle lodge to get a break, nice breakfast, friendly staff, spectacular art gallery. The pool has the perfect temperature for those hot days.

The 3 days we stayed at Banana Bank were the highlight of our Belize trip. The food was outstanding, the room (cabanawas beautiful, and the staff were second to none. We felt welcomed like family and loved exploring the grounds. We booked a cave tubing tour and a tour to Tikal through BBL and they went super smooth and were a lot of fun. On our third day we did a horseback ride and that was great too! I will recommend this to my friends and family.However, it is a remote location. If you don’t want to eat at the lodge, you will need your own vehicle and you will be missing out greatly on the home cooked meals.

I love this place. We go every year for a mission trip and stay here. There are quirks and hickups but hey, its Belize so chill. Simplify, prioritize, and dont let the small stuff steal your Belizian joy.

Great horseback excursion! We spent an afternoon riding quarter horses on this beautiful property and really enjoyed it. John and Carolyn Carr are really personable and a delight to spend time with. She is a very accomplished artist and we got the privilege of seeing her studio as well as some of her works. We didnt stay on the property, but I am certain it would be just as pleasant.

Banana bank lodge is a wonderful place to stay. John, Carolyn and their whole team are the most welcoming and friendly people you could ever hope to meet. I stayed there as a solo traveller and was made to feel part of the family for my whole visit. The worst part about the place was leaving. I will certainly be going back!

Amazing beatiful quirky place complete with super friendly and delightfully nutty owners. They have a observatory, art gallery/mesuem and a pet jaguar. Beautiful pool and beautifully ornate rooms

Educational place beautiful by the river

Free wifi. Nice accommodations. Pool is hot...youd better swim in a nearby river.

The atmosphere is so good. the food is even better. The animals are so beautiful had to visit a second time and maybe a third if possible. The rooms are very nice . and the star study was out of this world.

A bit out of the way, but unique and helpful people

I havent stayed here or eaten here, but the little zoo was a huge hit with our 2 year old.

Really nice jungle hide away, this one of the most peaceful places on the planet. The rooms are nice and the pool is amazing. Make sure to check out the art gallery.
