They do Indian food and SE Asian food, and they do both really REALLY well. Incredible Nasi Goreng.
Excellent! We all loved every bite
Awesome place for variety stuffs. Love this place and highly recommend Food qualities are really good, Delicious Was in for my anniversary, was really a great experience. We will definitely back there again .
Amazing service, delicious food and a beautiful restaurant. Highly recommend!
Some of the best Indian food I’ve ever had.
Been to this place with my husband countless times during our 1 year stay in Limerick and our experience was amazing every time. Food is always served fresh and tastes very good. It’s neither too spicy not too bland. The staff is very welcoming; the place has a cozy ambience and serves Indian beers with papadom. What else do you need after a tiring day at work. Some from our favourites are - chicken tikka, fish pakura, tandoori chicken, chicken bhuna masala.Thank you Team for making our evening’s memorable. We will definitely visit again.
We were recommended this Indian restaurant and it didnt disappoint. Best Indian meal my husband and I have ever had. Also the staff were very professional and attentive.
Very good food. Friendly staff
Amazing food and environment, everything was perfect
Had an awesome masala dal here. Good spice level. Can enhance on flavors a bit, but overall great food.
Fantastic food, lovely staff and a wonderful evening. Thoroughly recommend
Horrible experience, I’ve been waiting on my food for an hour & a half . I’ve called them 18 times & my calls are being disconnected.
Had a great experience eating here. Staff were so kind with food living up to the expectations of what it’s like to taste Indian and spicy food!
All dishes divine. Onion Bhajis for starter. Jalfreezi is the best👌 arguably best restaurant in limerick. Large portions.
Food here was great as always, service is friendly and helpful.
Love this place and has to be up there as one of Limericks finest establishments! Food and service fantastic as always and left with a food coma with the servings 11/10!
Great food and very nice staff.
The best food. The veggie spring rolls & chilli beef are amazing. Always good quality
Got a takeaway Friday, starter for €12.00 missing, only found out when I got home 15 KMs away, phoned and spoke to manager, who said he would phone me later and give me a voucher, still waiting, really frustrating that Bambu cant check an order before you leave with food, not great
All time favourite restaurant. Ive being eating here for years, the food is always delicious, they never have dropped their standards. The staff are always so polite and friendly
Great tasting food 😋
Always good food, probably the best curry house in limerick.
Very delicious the Yellow chicken, excellent customer service, very comfortable and nice music, charming.
Its a nice place to eat Indian foods, especially north indian dishes. Friendly staff and welcoming. I will always order chicken tanduri and butter naan. You can oreder wine also.Vinesh Vlogger - Malayalam YouTuber !!!
Bambu are doing a great job at the moment at these very strange times. The food is lovely. We love the Indian food 🍲 we sneak in and sneak out as we live... In the county!!!!!!
Best Indian Restaurant in Limerick, been for many years here and always is a pleasure to coming back 😊, very authentic Indian food and so tasty, stuff so friendly and hesitate to try this place in the middle of Limerick city center!
Amazing Asian and Indian cuisine. Sitting place is v cosy and romantic. Meat is halal. Reasonable prices
Cosy place, nice food and pleasant staff. Tables are a bit close together and staff could be better at when to take stuff off the table and when to just wait. Overall I would recommend.
Recommended by a friend, I was not disappointed it is such a lovely place, the staff are friendly and chatty an the food was gorgeous, probably the best curry in a restaurant that I’ve had ever!! Totally recommend this place :-)
Good restaurant in general. Waiters is friendly, the dishes are goods. Never try Indian food, for my taste I dont like it, but my girlfriend was delighted and I appreciate that. I give only 3 stars because it was not very clearly in the menu explanation. In the prepared menu was in the dessert choice but they wont give us the possibility to choose it and we leave without the dessert :(
The food was the best Ive had in a long time, it was delicious, all the ingredients were fresh and handmade, and from even looking at the presentation of the food it really showed that they put in sincere, honest effort to make it taste really good. Ive had a lot of Thai food over the years, and their Phad Thai chicken is among the very best that Ive had. It was carefully made, the chicken was cooked nicely and separately, and every detail was perfect. The sweet and sour chicken with rice was perfect too with fresh ingredients. The cheesecake dessert wasnt too sweet, and I could eat the whole pie it was so good. We met the owner as we left, and when the owner is involved its a good sign. The music and quality of the space is top notch too. The quality of everything is like a high-end restaurant, but at super reasonable prices and generous portions. Id gladly pay a little more for the food than the listed prices, its that good, so I tipped. The value for what you get is excellent. You wont go away hungry. I went here a few times at least.
I like this place as the staff are friendly, its not overpriced, its clean, nice decor and of course the food tastes great. The only one thing I was surprised with was the that dishes come with free rice but the Indian dishes dont. Who knows why, the prices are similar. But we had a good meal, left very full and satisfied
Great food, lovely staff and super cosy atmosphere. It looks like the food is even better after they moved location. If you enjoy an exotic taste, try their Okra with pilau rice - so good! Vegetarian friendly and theyre flexible to cook the recipes without meat if you ask.
We had a lovely meal this evening served by very charming staff. The food was so tasty and very good value
The day I arrived to Limerick I went to Bambu. It’s my third visit to this city, and every time I choose this restaurant as one of my favorites. This time I was surprised to find out that it changed its place and now it’s on another side of the street. But the quality of food and service is at the same high level as usual. My favorites at this restaurant are: pad Thai, chicken tikka masala and dim sum as a starter. Also rice is always good, and portions are really generous.
Third time unlucky. Three bad experiences in a row, last time Ill give them a chance. First problem in the restraunt with my girlfriend for dinner, big piece of chicken in my starter was raw. Second issue ordered through just eat, order was accepted got cthen got a call over half an hour later saying they werent going to do the order as they got busy so cancelled the order. Third issue was tonight, waited an hour for our order for it to arrive with no rice with both main courses. Rang restraunt lady on the phone was persistent is saying we didnt order before after 5 minutes finally said oh ya and put us onto the manager, who said oh sorry well send the rice now.... Another 20mintues later waiting main course stone cold. Had enough of Bambu
It was good food the starter chicken tandoori. was small and bit dry qema nan.and peshawari nan. need Moore stuff. V enjoy all meal thanks waiter was really cooperative thanks again
Had sunday lunch here today, the starters ( samosa and spring rollswere dripping in grease. We also had a massaman curry which was disgustingly sweet, and a makani sauce that tasted like a tin of tomato soup(but less tasty). I hadnt been here in years, will never go back- their food has not changed with the times, it is cheap and bulky with no flavour. Very disappointed. The one star is for the waitress who was lovely and efficient.
Location is nice. Service is fast and pleasant. Food tasted good but the portion size is to small to fill a hungry belly. Make the portion larger or the price significantly lower.
Use to be my everyday lunch place coz of the 10 euro offer and amazing food. Unfortunately recent changes to the menu and possibly new chief affected quality and quantity thats why I stopped going there.
Great Thai Food, the portions are generous and the prices are considerably affordable and worth it. Try the duck with apple sauce its great delicious and it also has a large portion. A recommended place to eat thai food. They also offer a package for 17.50 for appetizer, main course, and also dessert.
The staff are very nice and helpful but the menu lists Thai vegetarian options that are not suitable for vegetarians as they contain fish paste. Be careful.
Great variety of food choice very tasty would highly recommend giving this place a go if you havent before the nan bread and jalfrezi are very good
Amazing little restaurant! Authentic food with amazing flavour! They do a lovely lunch menu deal for €10. Intimate setting, and superb staff.
Stopped in there on a whim Saturday night as I was walking past. Glad I did, going back there tonight. Staff very friendly and helpful, food was great! I had the Beef Cashewnut with Nan, best food Ive had yet! Desert was Etons Mess, a strawberry confection recommended by the server. The light dessert went well with the rest of the dinner. Reasonably priced.
Highly recommend Bambu - Indian n Thai food excellent. Service is first class n staff are extremely attentive, friendly and very helpful in assisting customers with food selections if the customer is not familiar with Thai or Indian cuisines. Excellent value for both lunch n dinner menus. A first visit to Bambu will definitely warrant a return visit.
Amazing Thai and Indian cuisine. Portions are just right for the price and staff is very friendly and open. Came in ~40 mins until close, I was hoping it wasnt too late for a St. Patricks day evening but there were no complaints. Food came out fast.
