Great service with wonderful food. Very welcoming to tourists. If you want good local food in a casual atmosphere, this is the place to go. Would 100% recommend the sausage!
One of the best restaurant in Luang Prabang! Yummy, impressive service and very good price. Love it!!! Recommend!!!! ❤️
We love this restaurant - it was the closest to our hotel that had vegetarian options, but we kept returning because it was just so delicious. The family that runs it is super nice as well!
Lovely lovely people, and great food!! Had the pad ka pao kai as recommended. Fans in an open air (coveredseating. Watermelon and Lime, honey, mint shakes were great. Went here twice on our 3 day visit to Luang Prabang, would return again! Thank you :)
You WILL NOT regret eating here! We absolutely loved it, incredible flavours... definitely going to be back here a few more times before we leave!
The place was quite in the center, easy to find and clean. Food and smoothie were great. Staff spoke good English. Had quite a decent size menu
We had an amazing dinner here! We’re vegetarian, and they were able to prepare the dishes with tofu. The curry one was remarkable! On top of the great food, the chef, who runs the business, and her family are lovely people! Would highly recommend visiting this place
This small restaurant is a hidden gem. The staff is very friendly and the food is wonderful and tasty. The green papaya salad was the best we had in Laos!
A really nice restaurant with tasty food. The staff are very nice and helpful - we enjoyed our lunch very much!
Came to try it because of google reviews. It did not disappoint. It really yummy. Be patient with the staff. I go a banana as a gift.
Enjoyed the food here - excellent Pad Lao and mixed vegetable side dish. We asked the owner if they had morning glory and although they didn’t, they went to the market closeby and made some for us. It was very kind of them to go out of their way to do that.Their mixed fruit drink is delicious as well. Reasonably priced.
After 4 days here in luang proabang I now have found my favorite restaurant and food! Nai the owner is a legend. Amazing service and staff, amazing food and top price. So fresh and tasty, unreal quality, Highly recommend, I Will be back thanks
Our team enjoyed our food last nigh at this hidden gem restaurant! Great local restaurant which is owned by a local family, the owners speak very good English and both husband and wife are very friendly! The husband is a tour guide and a tour guide trainer, so he could tell us a lot when we asked about what we should do and see in Luang Prabang for our tours! We highly recommend this restaurant!
It is nice , my partner had a dish with seafood , not good and sauce salty , never by food with seafood ingredients in laos , it a landlocked country and your shrimp and fish would have thoroughly defrosted a number of times before its cooks .My dish was very nice
Delicious food, friendly English speaking owner/chef who used to work for AMANTAKA top 5* star hotel before!
Great Lao and Asian restaurant in Luang Prabang as a hidden gem just in a small alley in front of Wat Visoun. My family and I ordered about four types of food and my favorite ones at this restaurant are Pad Thai and Luang Prabang sausages, they were so delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant!
The best friend rice in Luang Prabang!! The family is friendly and kind . The food is so good that we came to eat there again!
Went here 3 times during our stay in Luang Prabang. Yummie food, nice and friendly folks. Great price. Pad Thai, fried rice and fried noodles veggie are awesome. Best mango-juice in the whole world!
Fantastic food. Fairly priced. Friendly staff. Super cute puppy. Will definitely return 😌
Excellent restaurant in Luang Prabang! We had pork curry with rice and stir-fried chicken with basil, the food was so delicious! The owner is friendly and speaks English. We highly recommend this restaurant!
Local restaurant with good food and not expensive. Nothing special in service as its local rest without A/C.
Had quality pad thai (maybe one of the best on my travels so farand lao sausages here. Staff and owner friendly and attentive. Seriously tasty food at a reasonable price. Thumbs up for me!
Amazing local family restaurant!!We were there on the first day they opened after almost 3 years closed due to COVID and we had a lovely dinner, including green curry, local sausage and minced pork salad. Thanks for how welcoming you were, we loved your restaurant.
They finally reopened today after having to close because of covid. The food, drinks and service was amazing. Definitely will come here again since its just at the opposite of Wat Visoun
Pork stew was quite disappointing, but perhaps its just not my type of dish. It was just a lot of meat in lemongrass broth. Pad Thai was good.
Excellent place to have dinner at reasonable prices. The food came quickly with not too much delay between each plate. All the food was delicious, with very generous portions. And the watermelon juice was fantastic! Highly recommend eating here.
Bamboo garden restaurantOne of the best place to eat in Luang Prabang, located in an alley, few steps from big street; Bamboo offer tasty Laos food included laap (larb?); padthai, soup. Fresh ingredients and cook by order. Little place cater less than 10 table, alway busy at dinner time. Ate 3 times here during the trip, tried different dishes included laap, soup, and stir-fried chicken. Price range from 20.000 kip-45.000 kip per dish. Typical dish with steam rice and stir-fried meat (pork, chicken, beefcost 20.000kip. Tasty food and friendly staff, recommendation!
Delicious food with affordable price. We went there twice during our 4-day stay in Luang Prabang. Highly recommended!Seems like this restaurant is a family business and they only have one chef, maybe have a slightly early dinner to avoid long waiting time.
We came a little early in the afternoon so we stayed away from the crowd. Every single dishes and drinks is delicious. Recommend the larp with pork, the best larp I ever had.
Unfortunately we were waiting for 25 minutes so we decided to ask about how much additional time we should wait and the answer was: 30 minutes.I think 1 hour is not an acceptable time.It is a shame because it is a restaurant with good recommendations.UPDATE: We have given a second chance. The experience was very good.Good attention and acceptable waiting time. The food had good presentation and also excellent taste/flavor.In addition, the quantity served is excellent.Without a doubt, an excellent option but I highly recommend to go early in order to have a good experience.
So tasty we came back for lunch two days in a row! Cant beat the prices either. ($3usd for pad Thai and a pineapple shake). Definitely try the larb too!
I was very lucky to have found this place!Small restaurant located in a quiet street serving delicious food in good portions!!The owner was very kind and modified a dish to make it vegetarian for me.Prices are a little more expensive than around, starting from 20k, but its worth it!I really recommend this place, after eating in four different restaurants, this one was the best!
Tomyam kai 35,000kip is delicious and cheap!Lemon juice (lemon +mint+honey very good! I order another one to take away! You must try this restaurants, its delicious local Laos food.
Clean decent place serving good fresh-made and relatively cheap food - what is there not to love?We had the basil with pork and chicken with rice, and both were equally good. The Laotian sausage was nice, though we had expected a larger piece. The meat omelette was freshly made and delicious. We also loved the mint, honey and lime shake, which was refreshing. The lady boss is friendly and her staff are helpful in giving suggestions. It is easy to locate as it is in a lane next to the Red Cross massage and opposite the Wat Visunarath.
Coming here requires quite a bit of a walk if youre coming in from the old town area. Helmed by three women, the food here is affordable and delicious. I started my meal with the Luang Prabang sausage (25k). While the portion seems small, the sausage was very good. It is unlike any of the Western sausages I have tried. It also comes served with some chilli paste, which will change the taste of the dish. The mixed vegetables (25kwere fragrant. The oyster sauce smell was very strong, and the vegetables were all coated with the sauce. I also liked the variety of vegetables in this dish. The star of my meal was the chicken stew (30k). This dish is flavoured with dill, lemongrass and basil, and comes with egg plants. This wholesome dish was slightly peppery and taste of it was uniquely good.Edit: came here for a second visit and I received a warm welcome. I had the Khaiphaen (20k), and this was amazingly good on its own. Not too salty. You can make it taste better with the chilli paste that comes with the Luang Prabang sausage. I also had the pork laarb (35kand this was good. Very fragrant and with shallots mixed in.
This jewel is tucked away in a relatively quiet neighbourhood. We took a walk over from the Old Town area, which is about 15min. Place is clean and neat. Ordered Lao Stew (30,000kip), stir fried mixed vegetables (25,000kip), Laotian sausages (25,000kipand 2 steamed rice (14,000kip). Food was served promptly. Like their open kitchen concept, where you can see which dish they are making. Owner is very thoughtful and gave us sharing bowls for the stew. They are the first to do for us here in Laos, and we are really appreciative. For the good food, decent pricing and excellent service, Ill strongly recommend this place!
Have eaten here twice now since staying in LP, the fried rice is super delish with the shrimp cooked perfectly! The soup was so/so (reason for 4 star)The staff and owner are very friendly also and speak good English :would recommend if you like Lao food!
Delicious food, possibly the best Ive had in Laos. And the prices are really cheap. I think its a family run restaurant in their front yard and the ladies are very friendly 😊
We ate here 3-5 times a week. Great tasting food at a reasonable price. Family owned and operated. I recommend.
Food was delicious. Not as spicy as the other Laotian food that Ive had, but still tasty. The food came out surprisingly quick, especially since there is only one cook. Its a small cozy place.
The best Lao food that we had on our trip! Very kind staff and its a quiet, cosy place. Good prices (we payed about 45k kip pp including drinks). I can recommend the Larb Moo.
We tried the pad Thai, the Tom yum and the porc curry and everything was amazing. The owner is absolutely charming, dont hesitate to ask her about the origins of the dish she prepares. A must go in Luang Prabang
Amazing family run restaurant. Big portion size, amazing flavour with prices ranging from 15,000 (for mostto 35,000 (for larb). We came back here four times during our 3 night stay in Luang Prabang. Would definitely recommend their chicken Pad Thai and shakes. We tried all of them and our favourite was honey lemon mint and mixed fruit shake!
Best sea food Pad Thai i ever had better even then i had in Thailand and just for 22000 kip... amazing ..i would give 6 stars if it was possible...day after i had the curry chicken and again it was amazing.. im in love with the chef ..she is so passionate about her food and her smile makes u happy
We had the seaweed and vegetarian pad Thai and it was exceptional. The pad Thai had a lot of vegetables in it which made for a delicious dish. The staff were friendly and serve was good. I would highly recommend it.
One of the best places in LP for sure! A hidden gem in a little street! The food was great specially the Lao pork curry (highly recommendedthe pad Thai was amazing as well!Prices are ridiculous 15k for almost every dish it’s super cheap for the great quality and amount of food! The staff is super friendly and... aaaand.. the cook speak almost perfect English, so it’s really easy to chat, get recommendations and to know them really well!Enjoy it 5 stars!
Amazing price and amazing food and drinks, the best place to go if youre on a budget. The lady running the resturant was really nice too, there wasnt much of an atmosphere and the resturant is basic but its the same price or cheaper than street food. So you get what you pay for.
Best mixed vegetable stir fry Ive had in 4 months of travel in Asia!! Great portion size, beautiful variety of vegetables and the owner seems like such a nice person and is very friendly.
