Bamboo Bar in Surin

Had a lovely afternoon drinking cocktails and my partner drank spy.in the heart of buriram but felt very relaxed inside. Nice pub.

Great for food and bar if you just want to have a beer! Friendly service and good food and cold beer !

Decent place to have a drink and some food. Service is good as are the prices. There was live music when I was there, not great but okay. Mostly a friendly foreign crowd.

Good western food at reasonable prices. Thai and western music. Nice atmosphere. A bar where you can bring all the family. Not changed much in 15 years.

We had a very good oyster plate and deep fried beef as appetizer.Good and friendly service.Both Thai and European menu.

Been here on many occasions over the years since they built the racetrack in Buriram. Reliable quality pub grub and thai food. Some surprisingly good steaks as well. Service can be patchy but generally helpful when they get round to you.

Great location with good atmosphere. Due to Christmas the food was limited so I will be back and check out the menu again.

Great little bar,good food and drinks prices, have live bands at night, when no coving restrictions, English speaking staff, great atmosphere, a good place for lunch, or a evenings entertainment, differently worth a visit

Food was decent, portions good. My girlfriends club sandwich and chips took a very long time and arrived after we had all finished. Apparently it was a very difficult order and they had to go shopping(?No big deal. One thing that is a big deal. DO NOT PUT VINEGAR IN HP SAUCE! If its a little expensive to buy, too bad, thats why Farung come there. None of us touched it.

Great restaurant right in the heart of Buriram. Farang Breakfasts specials are the best outside Bangkok 160B all in.Night time live entertainment. Its been there for 20 years. English Thai owner and family run.

Food much better than I would expect. The menu has quite a bit of Farang food and of course Thai food.. I had enjoyed alcoholic beverages and live music before at the Bam Boo bar. The woman bartender is very pleasant.

Ice cold beers served before the recent restrictions. Now Ive taken the time to enjoy the Beef Steak and potatoes. Very personable women bartenders, and a real good friendly vibe. I miss the live music, but I sure will return.

Its an ok place been here years, just a place go have food and drink. In the morning after a night out in the clubs.

Its ok. Relatively small bar with nice enough staff. It wasnt too busy when I went there but they had some live music where the guys switched between English and Thai songs.

Very good pub to meet friends for Thai meals or western food before a night at Speed or other night clubs. Very good service from the waitress. Prices fair for being the oldest expat restaurant in central Buriram. very convenient location. nice music.

Great and nice place in center buriram. Good food many choice drink lovely staff nice atmosphere you can look every main event about sport football motogp car f.1 and more.

Quiet but chilled, ordered salmon and food was full of oil so just go for a beer or some rice 😂

Not so bad! The salmon was even good. But the location right at a traffic intersection is not quite romantic or even relaxed. And the food is more for western people, I reckon

Even more overpriced drinks now. Pickup bar for older farang. 1st band good, late band poor. Last chance saloon after midnight! No food.

We were there for both MotoGP events, bar was packed all the time foreign customers. Great downtown location. Food was mediocre - almost could not eat the cabonara, but the rest of the food was good. Great waitstaff, who allowed us to book a large table 2 of their busiest nights. Prices are decent.

Good cheap drinking bar with good food although a little to expensive for my taste 600 baht for a steak and 300 for anything else thats a week s worth of food from my local

A Buriram institution. Western and Thai food, good selection of beers. Plenty of TVs to watch local and international sports. Theres also live music some nights. The staff are also friendly and attentive.

Long standing Buriram bar and restaurant with decent Thai and western food options and a large cocktail menu (they have the usual beer choices of Heineken, Chang, Leo, and Singha). Popular with expats, this is a good place to grab a burger and a cold, light beer in a relaxing environment. The thing that makes this place really stand out though is the live music. They usually have a band playing old classic rock hits, and they do a really good job of it without being too loud. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff are friendly and attentive. I would give it five stars if they had some more beer options (some craft beers or a few good Belgian ales).

Good place for foreigners that cant eat Thaï food. Very nice looking, lots of seats and tables, football games on a big TV and live bands.

Hmmm. Seems like this bar has seen better days. Worn furniture, on the verge of run down. But to be fair i just had one beer here. Didnt eat or see it at a busy time. I guess its an expats bar rather than tourist spot.

Staff are very friendly and efficient. Drinks are reasonably priced and the food is excellent value for money.

Okay food and service, little bit pricey for the food offered especially the Thai options. But enjoyable and efficient

Went for drinks one evening and was disappointed. It appeared the waitress was making the drinks and not a dedicated bar person. The margarita was disappointing and Singapore Sling had me too scared to ask what was in it besides a few spoonfuls of undisolved sugar and what I suspect was a grenadine substitute, and some lime juice. I dont think it even had any alcohol in it. I finally settled for a beer and it was just fine. A local band playing 70s type music was ok and not intrusively loud if you are wanting a conversation. The place is perfectly located and again it looks like the owners have become complacent and dont put too much effort into running the place. The place has a lot of potential. The food menu looked to have a good selection of western food but we never tried as we had already eaten. Ill give this place another try next visit.

Okay but not for me, never forget this man was smoking 1 after another, never stop while we was there oh also sucking on his bottle & was no ashtray, you would think he would get the hint but had no brains. We was stuck there because of heavy rain.

Nice little restaurant that caters for westerners mainly but also serves thai food. Good food at Reasonable prices. Also has live music in the evenings. Drink prices are good also.
